Wish I could give no stars. I ordered a bag for my daughter’s wedding last year. Said delivery in 3-5 working days. It took over three weeks to arrive, so too late for the event. The bag was poor quality, smelled of mothballs and had a dodgy squeaking handle. I paid £10 to return it to China (this was a surprise as I was lead to believe the business was in the uk) and then the bag went missing. At this stage Aurora stopped replying to my emails. That was September 2025. Today (22/3/26) my bag has mysteriously been returned to my address. I don’t know what is going on but wonder if Aurora are not operating any more? Anyway, complete waste of almost £90 now including the return postage.

Never buy anything from this company they are scammers! Never answer back to return emails!

Not a UK company. Returns are to some obscure address in china. Spent a lot on returning the bags and didn’t get money back. Avoid this company at all costs

Total scam the bag never arrived having been given two tracking emails both saying it was delivered but either arrive don’t buy from this company!

Poor quality. I wanted a refund. Posted the item in September as per their advice. Emailed them multiple times and provided proof of postage and they refused to refund me. I wasted £100 on poor quality bag that I can't get refund for. Avoid at all costs

Scam! Bag I FINALLY received was nothing like the bag advertised! Ordered “velvet” Mary Poppins bag but received an ugly plastic bag that looked nothing like the one I ordered!! Offering me a 20% refund on a $50 purchase! Wish I had read the reviews before I purchased!!!

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! I only realised too late. I bought three discounted bags for myself and two other girls for a wedding, over a month before the date. The photos were lovely and supposedly the items were high quality. I paid £144. The company was supposed to be based in the UK so I was sure the bags will arrive in time. After several weeks’ wait and emails with their customer service, the bags arrived from China, wrapped in a plastic bag and some bubble wrap, all very poor quality which would cost £10 max in Primark or similar. I complained and they offered a partial reimbursement, which never arrived, despite my emails. AVOID .

wish i could give NO stars. This company is terrible. Bag I ordered was totally unsuitable. I returned it for a refund (post cost me another $25) 6 months ago and despite several enquiries and them saying they havent received it back (I sent it to the address THEY sent me for returns) today it was re-delivered back to me with no reason why! BE WARNED EVERYONE - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - THEY ARE A SCAM!!!!!!!

I ordered a bag from Aurora Bags on 17 October and when going to check tracking the link didnt work. When I went to their contact page, the link said it was a security error. When trying to find their website it now doesn't exist. I have been totally scammed. I got an email from 'Aurora Bags' now trading under Arvea Bags - another scam company. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE COMPANIES. This is a scam Chinese based company stealing people's money. I have had to raise a scam dispute with my bank.

I ordered a suede hobo bag, it arrived about 3 weeks later, was definitely not suede, it smelled of fish and looked nothing like the picture on their website. I got in touch with customer services and they offered to send another bag. Another 4 weeks went by and another bag arrived, it was again, not suede and smelled awful. I paid over 50 quid for a piece of cheap tat from China. Don’t bother is my advice. Cheap and nasty and nothing like the bag on the website. It’s a scam.

Ordered a 'leather'bag, had to chase the order up as hadn't arrived after 3weeks. When the bag finally arrived it was certainly not leather it was plastic with a strong smell of fish. I contacted customer service with regards to returning the bag, after several days I got a response that I could return the bag at my own cost within 30 days for a refund. The customer service process is really slow and I think this is done purposely to eat into the ' 30 days' The return address in China is odd. Even the post office queried the address. It would cost me £22.00 to return the plastic bag. I do not agree with this as the bag was not as advertised.

Never order, absolute scam, not leather , plastic. Crap! I hope no one makes the same
mistake I did and orders anything from

If I could give no stars I would. This is the worst customer experience ever. The Alethea white woven leather bag I ordered on 7 July; took 2 weeks to arrive and when it did it was neither white nor leather. Despite acceptance by Aurora that I had received the wrong product, the best I was offered was 40% of the purchase price and opportunity to recoup the balance by reselling - v unlikely given its quality. I chose to return the bag at which point it became clear I was dealing with China. I returned it on 4 August. Over 2 months later the bag is still awaiting customs clearance. So from 8 July I have no bag and no refund. It’s a scam.

TERRIBLE! Bags are not made in italy as they claim. Website also claims ship with DHL and Fedex. NOT true. They ship from China with Yunexpress! When I emailed them to clairfy no one replied. And on top of this bags do not ship in 5-6 days as they claim. Last time I will ever order from them what a terrible experience !!!

I cancelled the order with this company when I found out the goods were coming from China, but they sent them anyway. My credit card company told me to refuse the goods at the door. Aurora said I had to collect the bag and return it, at a cost of £30 to me and then I will get a refund, from what I have read, they do not return the money. If I had read these reviews I would never have ordered it. Everyone needs to report them to google like I have to get this company removed so no-one else loses their money.

This company portrays to be in the UK but in fact is in China!!! Shock to me. Bought a bag which took weeks to get to me. In the meantime I purchased another bag. I tried to cancel my order. Aurora said this was not possible. It arrived too late which explained to them. The bag was £67. They said I could return or they’d give me a minimal refund. They said I should return to an address in China at a cost of the equivalent of the bag! I have written many many emails and they eventually took it on themselves to refund me £18.90!

Off the internet. I am so frustrated annoyed and completely let down.

Bag took ages to be delivered & when it finally arrived it was not the colour I ordered. Had to wait far too long to get a reply, which basically told me they didn't have the colour I ordered on stock so just sent something else. This then makes the process of returning for a refund difficult. I am UK based. I was them offered a 20% refund & to keep the bag. I responded saying 25% but have only been sent 20%.
Rubbish service, bag not fab & woukd not use again or recommend.

I ordered a bag from this company for a wedding and it states on their website that delivery is in five to seven working days. My bag arrived nearly three weeks after ordering it and I was then told that to delivery cannot be guaranteed and it is down to me to pay the return postage to China!! There is no mention at all on their website that items are sent from China so beware you are paying a lot of money for a poor quality item that may take weeks to arrive and then cost you a fortune to send back for a refund. Although they do offer you a percentage discount to keep the item!!!!!!!!

If I don’t laugh I’ll cry. Big scam. Stay away! Not real leather. Terrible quality and cheap looking. And shipping from China despite claiming to be a UK based company.

Terrible company!! The website makes out its this company owned by two women from the UK, but its all china with Terrible customer service, and like a previous reviewer, its only because I purchased via PayPal that I got a refund...don't put yourself through the stress ordering from this company
