how are these people piggybacking from a government website taking subscription i didn't sign up for!

Who are these people?

Is this the same as cardebit that sneakily appears while trying to tax my car,I trusted the dvla site up to this point but no more,now had £7.99 taken as card subscription,cancelled immediately but no refund available, Cannot believe this is allowed on such a site,dvla please remove them now and refund our money, this is a sick scam.SHS.

I have been scammed by motor debit. I set up my car tax. Im now doing my accounts and seem I am signed up to a subscription I wasn’t aware of. Taken 3 payments of £8.99. This was through the government webpage when paying car tax. Shouldn’t be allowed to happen.

Just a scam I paid my road tax and should not be ripped off like this

Absolute scam. The gov.uk website that I use to renew my tax allows the scam service to piggyback onto their website. In good faith I paid my road tax to find I had several small payments taken. The bank, Santander told me it is not fraud! I urge everyone to go to their local MP and raise this. Thousands get scammed like this annually so let's get together and take these types of company's down.

Same as comments below. Have been scammed by this company. They took two payments 8.99 and 12.99 bit luckily the bank flagged it and stopped the payment. They have reported the company as fraud and trying to get the money back for me. 🤬

Fraud - I was wrongly convinced I was paying car tax. I received a breakdown of my vehicle instead.. taking my own blame I left it. Today I notice a payment pending in my bank, which I have reported as fraud!

Similar experience - total scam. Get in touch with Action Fraud and insist your bank recovers the monthly payments.

Like all the others that have written reviews my Dad has been conned. Thought he was paying a final month of road tax via a Government site. Two lots of £9.75 went out on the same day and then repeated by two payments of £6.99 (both taken on the same day) the following month and the following month, we have just gone via the bank to cancel any further payments as well as attempting via Autodebit.

Does anybody have contact details for this company autodebit please? Thank you I would be so grateful

Ducking scam! I was taxing my vehicle only to get vehicle report instead for £12. After a month from it I got charged £9 again for nothing. I had to contact my bank to deal with this fraud of the company.

This company is a scam they e been taking money from me for months after trying to tax my vehicle avoid at all costs

Here is what I have just written to them.....
I applied for CAR TAX on 24th June online. I seen a payment of £9.75 so drove home in my new car purchase not thinking anything about it. I have done some research today & contacted my bank to say I didn't recognise a payment of £6.99 which came out today 24th August & one that came out on 25th June again for £6.99.
I have NEVER agreed to these payments & the initial payment of £9.75 on the 25th June, I assumed was my payment for Road Tax.
I have now had to cancel my card, cancel any more payments & my bank is looking into this as a fraud investigation.
Furthermore, I will be reporting you to action fraud, trading standards & the Motoring Ombudsman asap after this bank holiday.
I want my 2 x £6.99 payments returned & also my Initial £9.75 which was made on the assumption it was for car tax.
Luckily for you I qualify for disabled tax through my disabled wife, which I got asap after purchase otherwise I would have been driving illegally for 5 days, but if something had happened within those 5 days, ie an accident or something, you would have eventually been found out & you would of been sued for thousands!!.
You have got away with this scam for far too long now so I make sure I will do everything in my power to make sure you don't get away with this for much longer.

PLEASE PLEASE PEOPLE REPORT THESE HOWEVER SMALL THE AMOUNT IS, they should not be allowed to get away with this!!

Hope this helps others. I noted a payment £8.99 in pending. I rang Halifax reported it, explained about these reviews. They froze ny card and furthermore stopped any further payments to this company
I rang back again today, after going through all the same things again...Halifax found an earlier payment of £12.75 too!!
Over an hour later 2 phone calls and endless frustration..
New card being issued..both payments back in my account.
WELL DONE HALIFAX..
Scammers don't care about the upset misery and inconvenience...Good luck to everyone!

I m not happy because it takes from my account another 8.99£ and l don t know for what and when you will stop because it the second month for payment

Being scammed just like others, paid just over 12£, then realised that all I’ve got was a report.was like - ok, 12£ lost - nothing major and went to order road tax, this time from original dvla site. A month later I’m seeing a payment of 8.99£ on my account, that’s when I reported it to my bank, which are saying that they cannot do anything about it, which is unacceptable really..
went on with an angry e-mail to the company itself, they are saying that they have cancelled so called subscription, which I have difficulty to believe to after reading other people reports..
