I’ve been scammed. Why are these people not shut down for fraud?

I've been scammed just like the rest who thought they were Taxing their car, how can this still be happening after all the people who have complained. My Bank, HSBC is saying it can't stop the next payment.

So lots of people scammed in the same way as me. Does anyone have contact details for the bunch of online thieves?

This would be a zero rating if it was an option.
I've had the same experience as everyone else. Charged £12.75 thinking I was taxing my car and ended up getting a tax report. I then noticed £8.99 transaction taken from my bank. I did not consent or subscribe to this service and have reported to my bank.

Disgusting scam outfit who have designed their website to look like an official road tax page.

reported this to Barclays & action fraud as fraudulent payment, requested tax report for £12.75 some weeks ago which appeared fine until this. Trustpilot confirms I'm not the only one. Have attempted to contact them for a refund but could only cancel subscription but then email received stated successful NO REFUND as the subject !! Tried to reply to email but it just bounced back. On advice from Barclays can dispute payment in 15 days & they will investigate.

You think you are taxing your vehicle online, but it is just a scamming website. If you do not notice a payment by VR1 AUTODEBITCO.UK LONDON GB 3763 they will continue to take monthly payment.

Since telling others that this company is a scam , it looks like others are still getting scammed by them.

I was told by action fraud that if you haven’t already contacted them to let them know. The more of us that do this it will help they said.

My bank has paid me the money that was taken.

Do not use this company. 3 payments taken out of my account after I had cancelled subscription 3 times.

I've had the same experience as everyone else. Charged £12.75 for a tax report then they're trying to charge me £8.99 per month for nothing. I did not consent or subscribe to this service it appears that they automatically subscribe you without your want or permission.

Thought I was paying for my car tax and got a report instead, then found they had set up a direct debit for £8.99. Phoned the number my bank gave me and you can’t talk to anyone, it’s a recorded message telling you to go online! complete fraud!!!

Yup, thought I was paying for my car road tax £0.00 but was charged £12.75 and received an email with a full history of my car? Just spotted they were about to deduct £8.99 this month but my bank have stopped the payment and blocked any further payments to this company. COMPLETE SCAMMERS - PLEASE BEWARE AND WARN ORTHERS!!!

Absolute fraudsters - no idea who they are but have been taking out 6.99 for 8 months. Anyone had any success getting money back? Or contacting an omnibus to close the company? I cant even find any information or contact details on the company to raise a complaint to autodebit directly

SCAM - THIS 'COMPANY' NEEDS REPORTING TO TRADING STANDARDS ETC ASAP
My elderly father had noticed £6.99 being taken by DD out of his bank account, but had no recollection what it was for.
Turned out that he had searched for 'Car Tax' back in March to find out when to pay for his new(ish) car, and had clicked on what he thought was the DVLA site, then - thinking he was on an official UK.Gov site - gave his bank card number. A Direct Debit instruction was obtained (he's no idea of how) and now he's paid an initial 'fee' of £9.75 and subsequent subs of £6.99 - for nothing, as he's paid his car tax direct to DVLA.
I have reported this issue to my father's bank - the Fraud Dept are now investigating this company and their transactions - and at their advice I am now contacting Trading Standards and Consumer Protection.
If you are unfortunate enough to have any dealings with this company, please, please, report to your bank and Trading Standards. Thank you.

Please do not give your account details to this so called company it’s just a scam to take £6.99 a month from you
I’ve had to phone my bank up to retrieve my money
And to make things worse they emailed me and said they would stop I’ve found out that again they have come back and taken another £6.99 these people should be shut down as they are just petty thefts with no faces.

Same as everyone thought was paying for road tax on new car then got information from them about cat realised I had not got what I thought ohh well 9.99 ok next month 6.99 comes out auto debit now I'm off to get it stopped and sorted.

They are scammers. I need contact details for them

I like everyone else got caught with this scam I thought I was paying for my car tax when I realised I wasn’t I thought I got it stopped in time only to find out this morning that they have taken 3 payments out for £12.75 each now have to go to the bank and try and get it sorted
