Thank you for your review, the contents have been noted.

When hiring one of our vehicles we make it clear to each customer that should any PCN’s be incurred that the costs for these will ultimately be passed on to the driver. We do this by way of multiple notifications and reminders to always register the vehicles for any permits you might have and to always pay for parking.

Not only do we do this to ensure that we don’t have to send a customer an unwanted bill but also because dealing with each PCN is a time consuming process, time which could be better spent providing a better service to our customers.

Unfortunately we have no control over how long it takes for the PCN to reach us and therefore have no control over when we inform our customers. I appreciate that this has taken some time to reach you as the charge was incurred in December 2024, however it unfortunately does not render the charge unpayable.

I would like to confirm that we made payment for the PCN as soon as it was received in order to ensure that the costs did not increase and therefore passed the costs for this on to you, the hirer.

Lastly, I assume that due to the length of time since you used our services, and seeing no previous negative review, that you were happy with the services that we as a company provided to you in your time of need following an accident. It would therefore seem that the only negative experience is the delay it took for us to receive a PCN which you incurred, something that is out of our control. I therefore don’t think it is fair to provide such a negative review of our companies services based solely on your own actions.

Good afternoon Mr Tabraiz,

We are sorry that you have felt the need to leave us a negative review.

Please note that the correct chronology in this matter is as follows:-

20th August 2025 – Initial details of claim sent to ALS
20th August 2025 – initial call made to client and case opened
21st August 2025 – Further details and documents requested to allow us to proceed including policy schedule to determine if other vehicles were available to you and V5
22nd August 2025 – Further details and documents chased to allow us to proceed
22nd August 2025 – Video of damage received. Clarification of damage requested, as being a garage owner, TPI may have expected that you would have the knowledge to perform temporary repairs under your duty to mitigate
22nd August 2025 – chased policy schedule to determine if other vehicles were available to you, V5 and images of vehicle that hit you
25th August 2025 – Chasing you for images of vehicle that hit you
26th August 2025 – You were notified that your file of papers was closed due to the fact that it had been 7 days post accident, we were still chasing information from you to which you were not responding and we had previously closed a case with you in 2024 for your failing to provide requested information.

We are sorry that you are upset with this outcome but would hope that in light of the full information and the extensive efforts made by ourselves as outlined above, that you can understand our decision.
