Very disappointing experience with EcoVia Rent a Car.
I had a confirmed reservation (Booking Code: ECO-26151688) at Genoa Airport and expected to receive the vehicle I had booked. Unfortunately, despite having a valid reservation and payment, the car was not provided to me upon arrival.
Due to circumstances beyond my control, including a delayed flight, I arrived later than expected. However, I was left without any practical solution or assistance. As a result, I lost my reservation, had to arrange alternative accommodation, and incurred additional expenses.
What is most frustrating is that I paid for the service but did not receive the vehicle, and I am still waiting for a refund and a clear explanation.
Customer service has been disappointing, and the overall experience caused unnecessary stress and financial loss.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company and hope they improve their customer support and handling of paid reservations.

Dear Customer, we are sorry for the inconvenience caused by the flight delay and for being left without a vehicle or a practical alternative.
Bookings are guaranteed within the tolerance periods stated in the rental conditions; at airport locations, providing the correct flight number allows delays to be taken into account. We nevertheless understand your frustration regarding the payment already made, the additional expenses incurred and the lack of clarity about the refund.
As this case requires a specific review, please write to customercare@autovia.it quoting booking code ECO-26151688 and attaching the documentation relating to the delay.

Total scammers. Credit card denied at collection. Had to purchase their own insurance at +€500, could not cancel own as too late at desk as per rules! Car returned 100% (have photo' proof) but they claimed on insurance that it was damaged and could not supply proof/photos to back up. Made false claim against my insurance. AVOID THIS COMPANY.

przykro nam z powodu opisanej sytuacji i rozumiemy niedogodności, jakie wystąpiły podczas odbioru pojazdu.
Do wynajmu wymagana jest fizyczna karta kredytowa wystawiona na klienta wskazanego w rezerwacji, a dane muszą być zgodne z przedstawionymi dokumentami, aby można było prawidłowo zabezpieczyć depozyt. W przypadku rozbieżności mogą zostać zaproponowane rozwiązania alternatywne, zgodnie z obowiązującymi warunkami i dostępnością w oddziale.
Przykro nam, jeśli obsługa tej sytuacji nie została odebrana jako wystarczająco jasna. Przyjmujemy Państwa zgłoszenie do wiadomości.

Pessima esperienza con Autovia di Trapani. Una truffa dall’inizio alla fine, con graffio invisibile pagato 270 euro. Nessuna documentazione di supporto, poca trasparenza… pessimi!!!!

Vorsicht - unseriöse Abwicklung!
Unseren Mietwagen haben wir über Ryanair gebucht und dann erfahren, dass der Wagen von Autovia kommt. Aufgrund der schlechten Bewertungen haben wir das Auto gehegt wie unser eigenes. Wir haben garantiert keinen Schaden verursacht, vor Rückgabe vollgetankt und sogar innen rausgeputzt. Dennoch fordert Autovia jetzt von uns € 530,- für angeblich von uns verursachte Schäden. Diese Masche scheint das eigentliche Geschäftsmodell dieser Autovermietung zu sein. Sollte Autovia auf diese Forderung bestehen, bleibt nur der Weg zum Anwalt - wir sind rechtschutzversichert.
Ergänzung:
Am 24.02.2026 kam die Meldung der Bank, dass Autovia meine Kreditkarte mit € 450,- belastet hat. Jetzt geht die Sache zur Polizei mit einer Anzeige wegen Betrug.

Bad customer service.
We rented the car from them. When we picked up the car, we discovered damage to it. We reported this and also sent an email.
After we returned the car, we received a claim for damage that was already on the car before we picked it up.
Customer service is impossible to get in touch with.
They do not reply to emails, and when you call them and explain the situation, they hang up immediately.
Two months passed, and then we received an email stating that we had sent the complaint to the wrong email address and needed to send it to a new one. We did so, but it did not help.
They have now charged us money and refuse to speak with us.
They will be reported to the police.
