Agence de Cagliari à fuir, accueil déplorable et refus de la remise du véhicule parce que le permis de conduire était abîmé dans un coin et pas pu faire le changement du conducteur car mauvais foi de la réceptionniste qui n a pas cherché à nous aider !
Donc au final pas de véhicule et perte de la location, ça nous a gâché les vacances !

nous sommes sincèrement désolés de lire votre expérience auprès de l’agence de Cagliari et nous comprenons le désagrément causé par la non-remise du véhicule, surtout au début de vos vacances.
Pour pouvoir remettre le véhicule, Autovia doit vérifier que les documents présentés sont valides, intacts et lisibles. Si un document est endommagé ou non conforme, le personnel peut ne pas être autorisé à procéder à la remise du véhicule. Le changement éventuel de conducteur doit également respecter les conditions de location et les exigences de la réservation.
Nous sommes toutefois désolés si l’assistance reçue n’a pas été perçue comme disponible ou collaborative. La courtoisie et la clarté au comptoir sont essentielles, même lorsqu’il n’est pas possible de procéder à la location.

meine Kreditkarte, die ich seit Jahren "around the world" nutze, und noch nie Probleme damit hatte, wurde für die Kautionshinterlegung nicht akzeptiert - was soll das?
Der Mietpreis wurde bereits im Vorfeld über diese Karte bezahlt, aber der Mietwagen wurde nicht übergeben, und wir haben bei einem anderen Anbieter vor Ort einen Wagen angemietet, der dieselbe Karte uneingeschränkt akzeptiert hat, und sich auch noch gewundert hat, warum die Karte nicht akzeptiert wird (ich auch nicht!!!)
Allerdings sitzen wir jetzt auf den Mehrkosten von ca. 400 € und haben auch noch den Ärger den bereits bezahlten Preis zurückzuerhalten.
Finger weg von diesem Anbieter: Nepper, Schlepper, Bauernfänger - schlimmer geht's nimmer .....

es tut uns leid, dass Sie bei der Abholung Unannehmlichkeiten erlebt haben, jedoch weisen wir die beleidigenden Vorwürfe gegen unser Unternehmen entschieden zurück.
Die Vorauszahlung der Buchung mit einer Karte bedeutet nicht automatisch, dass dieselbe Karte auch als Garantie für die Kaution geeignet ist. Für die Fahrzeugabholung ist eine physische Kreditkarte auf den Namen des Kunden erforderlich, die technisch für die Vorautorisierung der Kaution, Selbstbeteiligungen, eventuelle Zusatzleistungen und vertragliche Verpflichtungen geeignet sein muss.
Dass dieselbe Karte von einem anderen Anbieter oder für normale Zahlungen akzeptiert wurde, bedeutet nicht zwangsläufig, dass sie auch für die von Autovia verlangte Garantie geeignet ist. Jede Mietwagenfirma legt ihre Garantieanforderungen eigenständig fest; diese werden in den Mietbedingungen und im Voucher mitgeteilt.
Wir verstehen die Unannehmlichkeiten durch die zusätzlichen Kosten und die Rückerstattungssituation, aber ohne eine geeignete Karte kann das Fahrzeug nicht unter den Standardbedingungen übergeben werden.

Finger weg von dieser Autovermietung. Auto wurde nicht herausgegeben, weil die Easybank eine virtuelle Bank ohne Filialen ist.
Auto wurde mit der gleichen Visakarte bezahlt. Ebenso das Auto, dass wir anschliessend teuer mieten mussten.

es tut uns leid, dass Sie bei der Abholung Unannehmlichkeiten erlebt haben.
Für die Fahrzeugübergabe ist eine physische Kreditkarte auf den Namen des Kunden erforderlich, die technisch für die Vorautorisierung der Kaution, Selbstbeteiligungen, eventuelle Zusatzleistungen und vertragliche Verpflichtungen geeignet sein muss. Nicht alle Karten, die von Online- oder Digitalbanken ausgestellt wurden, sind automatisch als Garantie geeignet, auch wenn sie zum Visa-Netzwerk gehören und für normale Zahlungen akzeptiert werden.
Die Bezahlung der Buchung oder einer anderen Anmietung bedeutet daher nicht automatisch, dass die Karte als Garantiezahlungsmittel für die Kaution geeignet ist. Es tut uns leid, wenn diese Unterscheidung bei der Abholung nicht klar genug war.

Make sure your credit card matches passport name to avoid rip off
Like the previous reviewer, I also was charged excess fees by Autovia when collecting a car at Cagliari Airport in late May because the credit card issued by my bank shows only the initial of my first name (in addition to my full surname.) I booked and paid up front for the car (including full insurance) with the credit card in Australia via the wholesale rental borker AutoEurope. I have never previously had any problem using this credit card to pay for hire cars anywhere in the world. But when I arrived at the Autovia desk in Cagliari to collect the car, they told me they would not accept my credit card to pay for the standard 500 euro refundable insurance deposit on the car because the card did not spell out my full name as shown in my passport. Autovia would not accept any of my three debit cards, which did spell out my full name, or allow the friend travelling with me to use their credit card to pay for the refundable insurance. Autovia refused to give me the car unless I paid 216 euros (completely non refundable) for their own insurance. And they then accepted my debit card to pay for their insurance! Autovia said that if I used my friend's credit card to pay for the refundable insurance they would have to write a new contract that would cost more than three times the price I paid when I booked the car months earlier in Australia. I have submitted a formal complaint with AutoEurope and I will never use Autovia again. It was also a disappointing introduction to Cagliari, the other people I met in Sardinia were lovely.

we are sorry for the inconvenience experienced at pick-up.
To release the vehicle, a physical credit card in the customer’s name is required, with name and surname clearly matching the booking holder and the documents provided. When the card shows only the initial of the first name, it may not allow full verification of the cardholder and may therefore not be suitable for the security deposit pre-authorization.
These requirements are not information provided only at the desk: they are stated in the pick-up requirements, in the booking voucher, in the rental conditions and in the information provided by brokers during and after the booking process. It is therefore essential to check them before arrival, because paying for the booking in advance does not mean that the card is suitable as a guarantee.
Debit cards are generally not accepted as a guarantee for a standard rental. Paying for a coverage or service with a debit card is not the same as accepting that card for the deposit, excess amounts and any contractual obligations.
Autovia additional coverages are optional and may be offered as an alternative solution when the card presented is not suitable, but the choice always remains with the customer.

Ne jamais louer chez eux! Ce sont des escrocs! Ils m’ont fait payer 465€ pour 7 jours de location. J’ai quitté la Sardaigne depuis le 27 avril, on est le 19 juin, je cours toujours apres ma caution!!! Alors que j’ai tous les documents disant que la voiture n’avait rien! Ils ne répondent pas au téléphone , il se renvoie la balle! Seule l’agence de Cagliari peut me
Rembourser vu que j’ai loué avec eux! Le service client vous raccroche au nez! Soit disant j’ai été remboursé depuis le 04/06.. mais ma banque me dit qu’ils n’ont reçu aucun remboursement et eux me disent cela dépend de votre banque!! En gros ils se moquent des gens!! Et tous mes mails sur leur soit disant customer care ne répondent pas non plus!! C’est une honte de profiter de la Faiblesse des personnes car dans un pays étranger ou avoir une voiture est plus indispensable pour circuler.
J’ai bien vu votre reponse! J’ai contacté le costumer care trois fois sans reponse! Vous raccrochez au nez des gens! Vous ne m’avez pas remboursé ma caution! Alors qu’il n’ya aucun problème avec la voiture! J’ai tous les documents!! C’est une HONTE!

nous sommes désolés pour le désagrément signalé, mais nous rejetons l’accusation d’escroquerie.
Le dépôt de garantie est intégralement libéré lorsque le véhicule est restitué sans nouveaux dommages ni montants en attente. Après le déblocage par la société, les délais de disponibilité effective du montant peuvent également dépendre du circuit bancaire et de l’établissement émetteur de la carte.
Nous comprenons toutefois votre inquiétude, surtout si vous disposez de documents confirmant l’absence de dommages et que vous ne voyez toujours pas le montant. Si vous ne l’avez pas déjà fait, vous pouvez envoyer le contrat, les reçus et les documents bancaires à customercare@autovia.it afin de permettre une vérification précise de l’état du dossier.

Car rental rort
Arranged a car rental to pick-up from Cagliari Airport. At check-in Agent advised my Amex would not be acceptable as it did not show my full name. Provided an alternative credit card with my full details. Agent advised it was not a credit card as system shows as “debit card”. Result an insurance fee has to be paid of EUR250. Showed agent that the card is in fact a credit card with limit of EUR20,000 but still refused acceptance “system says no”. This is nothing more that a rort to extract additional fees from tired tourist. BE CAREFUL!!

To release the vehicle, a physical credit card in the customer’s name is required, with name and surname clearly matching the booking holder and technically suitable to cover the security deposit, excess amounts, possible extras and contractual obligations. When a card does not allow full verification of the cardholder or is recognized by the system as not suitable for the security deposit pre-authorization, the rental cannot be completed under the standard conditions.
Additional coverages are not mandatory: in some cases, they may be offered as an alternative solution when the guarantee card presented is not suitable, but the choice always remains optional and is shown before the rental agreement is signed.

Ho recentemente noleggiato un'auto con Autovia e sono rimasto estremamente soddisfatto del servizio ricevuto. Il personale si è dimostrato professionale, cortese e disponibile fin dal momento della prenotazione. La consegna del veicolo è stata rapida e senza complicazioni, con tutte le informazioni fornite in modo chiaro e trasparente.
L'auto era in condizioni eccellenti: pulita, ben tenuta e perfettamente funzionante. Anche la procedura di riconsegna è stata semplice e veloce, rendendo l'intera esperienza davvero piacevole.
Consiglio vivamente Autovia a chiunque cerchi un servizio di noleggio affidabile, efficiente e di qualità. Sicuramente mi rivolgerò nuovamente a loro per i miei prossimi viaggi.
