Worst company ever!!! Got a flat and was told by driver of tow truck that he could not tow me to nearby town only 3 miles away due to no authorized repair shop for Autovia there so, get towed as reguested by Autovia to a shop a little more than 2 hours away! Now being late afternoon, can't get repaired till next day. The next morning, got call from shop and says they have no agreement with Autovia anymore for a while and now,towed again for over 3 hours always in opposite direction to Bari. Was charged over $500 for towing due to Autovia's mistake. They never responded to my emails. Contacted Italian Consumer Affairs and won case for refund but, still Autovia has not pais what it owes me and continue still to not respond to my requests for what they owe!!! They are the worst!!They were over a year ago at a 1 star rating and know 3 stars thanks to the fake positive comments that Autovia posts to improve their ratings! How deplorable!!! They should be shut down!

Do not trust the price! This company is a trap! Whrn you rent the car, you think you’re paying for the cheapest, but when you got in the box to get the car keys they charge you at least more 100,00 EUR for the insurance. They want to deceive you and make you think you hot the best price when you are doing the rent before your trip. DO NOT TRUST THE PRICE!

AUTOVIA RENT-A-CAR ABUSES CUSTOMERS, Scam ROBBERY - don’t book you be sorry. Someone called the Police and we were in line for two hours , then our turn come and we had card and license issues .
We had booked and fully paid for the car for 6 days. Us and every other couples in line at Rome Fiumicino Airport had problems, when they won’t accept your card and force you to buy their crazy expensive insurance. (4 times the price of the car rental btw).
READ ALL OTHER BAD REVIEWS IT IS ALL TRUE.
They will take lots of money for damages on vehicle.
They will take money for speed fines not existing.
If you late your car is not available but they will have similar car but much more expensive for you. DODGY

Ottima esperienza a Roma Fiumicino, check-in veloce al banco anche se c’era solo una persona a servire. E sempre meglio acquistare l’assicurazione che ti copre per ogni situazione imprevista, soprattutto se non sei abituato a guidare nel chaos di Roma centro.
Giuliana al check in , gentilissima e molto simpatica , mi ha spiegato tutto perfettamente e non ho avuto nessun problema poi a riconsegnare la macchina. 100 % would recommend

I arranged car hire via easyJet/Cartrawler from the UK. On arrival at the desk Autovia could not supply the car on my voucher Fiat Panda or similar small car. The desk clerk offered me a small car run on methane/metano which she informed me I would have difficulty refuelling or a VW T-roc. I declined both and after arguing with the clerk and it being late in the evening I felt pressured to take the VW and pay the extra. Autovia charged me 150 euros for an upgrade which I did not want. I contacted Cartrawler the next day to complain. I have subsequently spent weeks trying to get my money back. I have been through 5 investigations by Cartrawler. The last investigation folowing consultation with Autovia I was told that I chose the T-roc after being offered 2 other free upgrades that I declined. This is absolutely untrue. I am now writing to the CEO of Cartrawler. I cancelled my last car hire and booked with Italy car rent. On arrival at the desk the same thing happened. They apologised for not having the car on the voucher and offered me a free upgrade. This is how customers should be treated.

They sent me a fake attached payment on 22nd to confirm that they already sent the money back but sense then i haven’t received it never again

Naciągnęli mnie na ubezpieczenie za 100 euro bo niby karta im nie pasowała ani jedna ani druga. Poza tym już tydzień czekam na zwrot kaucji 250 euro a auto oddałem całe i sprawne. Na wiadomości e-mail nie odpisują. Żałuję że tam auto wypożyczyłem

Ho affittatto la macchina all’aereoporto di Fiumicino. Macchina era piena di graffi e molto trasandata. La signora Giorgia con quale ho fatto contratto non aveva il tempo di verificare i graffi non segnalati sul contratto consegnato, dicendo di fare io le foto. Alla consegna della macchina ha cercato di addebitarmi i graffi che c’erano gia. Per fortuna facendo le foto e la diffida hanno restituito la cauzione trattenuta. Attenti sono proprio dei truffatori organizzati, se non fai l’assicurazione che cercano di importi provano a fregarti su tantissimi danni vecchi e mai riparati sulle loro macchine. Fate sempre le foto molto dettagliate!!

Attenzione a questi signori, se così si possono chiamare! Sono dei ladri, si sono inventati un danno che non c'era! Alla fine dopo svariati solleciti ed email mandati a questi SIGNORI, alla fine hanno vinto loro, ho dovuto risarcire un danno che non ho mai fatto! Quindi diffidate, dalle offerte allettanti, tanto poi si rifanno lo stesso sulla nostra pelle!

DON'T RENT FROM AUTOVIA!!! II rented a car and, they did not tell me that the newer cars don't carry spare tires but, it provides a can of " Fix a flat" with a tiny compressor to put air in your tires. I hit a pot hole and got a flat tire just 3 kms from the town my cousin lives. Fix a flat will fix pin size hole, anything bigger you'll need a tow truck. I called Autovia and they sent the tow truck. I asked to be towed to the town I just left to get it repaired. Driver informed me that Autovia denied my request and will have car towed to an authorized repair shop more than 70kms away ! It brought us to this town which the shop tells the driver they can't get to it till morning. Now, I have to pay for a hotel. In the morning, the shop called tells me they are not authorized with Autovia and now, I get towed to Bari which was a couple of hours away! Autovia charged my card for all that towing! I disputed it and Autovia would not settle. I filed claim with the Italian consumer agency which they then contacted Autovia. The agency stated that Autovia gave in and accepted to reimburse me for the towing and advised the consumer agency to get my bank info so that they can wire the funds to me. I provided the info which the agency forwarded to Autovia. It was over a month and still nothing so, I contacted the agency and theysaid will contact Autovia! After 6 weeks, Autovia has not responded and the agency told me that Autovia broke the agreement made and that my only option is to hire a lawyer!

Niente da dire sull'aeroporto, ma il personale e la polizia agli arrivi, arroganti, maleducati.
Non è la prima volta che mi capita di vedere e sentire commenti agli stranieri, da veri maleducati.
I poliziotti non rispondono ai saluti e si rivolgono alle persone di una certa età con arroganza, mi sono vergognata diverse volte di essere romana e italiana .
Spero che qualcuno gli faccia capire che il loro è un lavoro e chi viaggia o per lavoro o per vacanze, sta facendo girare denaro nel nostro paese che è sul lastrico.

PESSIMI ! State alla larga da questa compagnia !

Arnaque sur ma réservation de véhicule.
On devait payer 51€ pour le siège auto le jour de la réservation. Tout le reste était déjà réglé en ligne.
La dame au comptoir me propose de prendre une empreinte bancaire de 100€ pour m’éviter des charges en cas de dommage et éviter l’état des lieux également. Elle précise 2 fois que les 100€ sont bloqués et ne seront pas facturés si tout est ok. Sauf que pendant ma réservation je constate sur mon compte les -100€… j’attends quelques jours après ma réservation (dans l’espoir d’un remboursement) mais toujours rien… Depuis impossible de les contacter.
La barrière de la langue est en plus très compliqué. Dans une aéroport international personne ne fait l’effort de parler quelques mots français.

Est-il possible d’être contacter en français et de récupérer mes 100€.

Servizio pessimo, sconsiglio vivamente. Il loro pos , nella sede di Fiumicino non è riuscito a leggere ben 3 carte di credito. Impossibile farci dare la macchina. Abbiamo perso i soldi della prenotazione e rischiato di dover dormire lì, erano le 22:30. Naturalmente le carte di credito sono state lette dal pos di un'altra compagnia di Fiumicino, vicino a loro. Sospetto di truffa molto forte.

We chose full insurance from the webbsite, but at the counter we needed to pay additional 600 EUR for the same insurance that we already paid for in advance. This company makes their profit by missleading their customers and charging huge amounts of extra surcharges. The car itself was the most cheapest option, but total costs were shockinly expensive.

ESTAFADORES (AutoVIA = EcoVIA) La persona que nos atendió fue bastante agresivo en sus modales para obligarnos a tomar el seguro a todo riesgo que no queríamos tomar. Tras tener que negarnos 10 veces a tomarlo y tratar de pagar la fianza con la tarjeta de CRÉDITO, resulta que misteriosamente el pago quedaba rechazado, y hablamos de una tarjeta que ha funcionado perfectamente en todo establecimiento tanto físico como online, ANTES y DESPUÉS, con lo que la tarjeta no presentaba ningún problema, y el empleado se negó con muy malos modos a tratar de probar con otro terminal negando que fuese problema de ellos y ni siquiera intentarlo con un segundo TPV (POS) que tenían allí.
Sin embargo, qué casualidad, sí que podían alquilarnos el coche con el seguro a todo riesgo, el triple de caro, pero con la tarjeta de débito.
A todas luces se trata de una estafa, permitiendo reservar por un precio más barato que la competencia pero una vez allí, lo rechazan y te obligan a tomar el carísimo seguro a todo riesgo el triple de caro, aprovechando el chantaje que habiendo aterrizado en el aeropuerto de destino, ya no puedes hacer otra cosa.
Además, el coche que nos dieron, tenía MÁS DE 80.000 KM

Samme virksomhed som Ecovia, fandt jeg ud af. Gnidningsfri udlejning, hvor jeg lejede gennem RyanAir. Jeg havde betalt vist nok ca. 40 kr. pr. dag for fuld forsikring. Afhentning på Roma Termini Station og aflevering i Rom Fiumicino lufthavn forløb uden problemer. Der var tydelighed fra Autovia om, hvad der var af skrammer på bilen i forvejen, og jeg blev ikke bedt om at betale yderligere ud over det aftalte. Jeg lejer gerne der igen en anden gang.
