Der Mitarbeiter am Flughafen war außergewöhnlich unfreundlich, er hat uns nichts erklärt und war ungeduldig.
Wir bekamen nicht die gebuchte Kategorie, sondern ein größereres Auto. Aufgrund der engen Straßen in den Städten der Toskana kein Gewinn.
Das Auto war dann okay,aber wir bekamen 2 Tage später eine Mail,dass wir unseren Autoschlüssel verloren hätten und ihn bei der Polizei abholen sollten.Das war völliger Unsinn!
Die Abgabe war ähnlich, der Mitarbeiter nahm nur den Schlüssel, viele Kunden warteten schon.
Das Auto war gut,aber die Firma spart scheinbar bei Mitarbeitern,daher der günstige Preis

Highly unprofessional! Very bad customer service
Highly unprofessional! Hidden fees and stolen/lost items. Do not recommend! I highly discourage anyone from renting from Autovia Pisa Airport. They are extremely unprofessional.First of all, watch out for their rental guarantees and hidden costs. When you book online, you see one price. When you arrive at the desk, they force you to pay double that amount extra (insurance, dropping the blocked deposit and other hidden fees that should be included in the online cost). If you refuse, they won't refund your online payment, so you basically have no choice but to pay or lose your money.Secondly, I accidentally forgot a pair of Meta smart glasses inside the car. By the time I realized, I had already passed the airport check-in gates and couldn’t go back. I immediately called them. They dragged their feet, making excuses that they would check, but after countless phone calls and emails, their final answer was that 'there was nothing in the car'.They most likely found them and kept them for themselves. Instead of being honest, communicating properly and returning them, they chose to lie. Terrible customer service and zero integrity!

Decent, no nonsense car hire.

Erg agressieve verkoop van extra verzekering! We hadden alles al goed verzekerd online. Zeer bedreigend personeel! Had eigenlijk geen keus om nee te zeggen. Wordt tijd dat Europa hier iets aan gaat doen. Oplichterij!

het spijt ons oprecht uw beoordeling te lezen en wij begrijpen het ongemak dat is ontstaan door de ervaren druk bij het aanbieden van een aanvullende dekking.
De beschermingspakketten die eventueel aan de balie worden aangeboden, zijn optioneel en de klant moet altijd vrij kunnen kiezen of hij deze wel of niet accepteert. Ons personeel hoort de huurvoorwaarden, de financiële verantwoordelijkheden en de beschikbare opties duidelijk uit te leggen, zonder ongemakkelijke situaties of druk te creëren.
Het spijt ons als de communicatie in uw geval niet met de nodige zorg is verlopen. Uw melding zal intern worden meegenomen om na te gaan wat er is gebeurd en om de kwaliteit van onze service te verbeteren.

Via Sunnycars geboekt bij Ecovia (Autovia). We werden heel vriendelijk geholpen aan de balie en de konden snel de auto meenemen. Wij hadden een hele fijne Audi Q2 automaat. Het inleveren ging ook heel snel, zonder gedoe (wij hadden dan ook de full risk verzekering afgesloten. Volgende keer kiezen wij weer Ecovia (Autovia).

lo storno del deposito di €100 è stato prontamente effettuato in data 13/05 al suo rientro, riceverà a breve la ricevuta dalla email della nostra filiale di Pisa. La invitiamo quindi a verificare il ripristino del plafond della sua carta e a contattare eventualmente la sua banca per verificare le tempistiche del circuito interbancario, sul quale noi non possiamo proprio intervenire.

Vorsicht Abzocke!
Autovermietung am Flughafen Pisa mit der längsten Schlange und der absolut langsamsten Bearbeitungszeit.
Plus: Das Auto war sehr gut. Sauber und quasi neu.
Die Rückgabe war sehr einfach und unkompliziert.
Minus: Eine extra Versicherung zum überhöhten Preis trotz Buchung und Bezahlung online im Voraus wurde vom kaum englisch sprechenden und unfreundlichen Mitarbeiter untergejubelt. Man sollte schnell unterschreiben (da wurde er plötzlich hektisch schnell), er blätterte so schnell weiter, dass man nicht lesen konnte und er sprach nur von Kaution. Nicht von extra Versicherung.
Mehr als den ursprünglichen Betrag extra noch obendrauf bezahlt.
Abzocke!
Hände weg.
Lieber einen größeren, internationalen Anbieter wählen.

Sehr geehrter Kunde, vielen Dank, dass Sie die Qualität des Fahrzeugs und die unkomplizierte Rückgabe positiv hervorgehoben haben. Wir bedauern jedoch die lange Wartezeit und insbesondere den Eindruck mangelnder Transparenz bei der Vertragsunterzeichnung.
Zusätzliche Absicherungen müssen stets klar erläutert werden und bleiben freiwillig. Außerdem muss der Kunde ausreichend Zeit haben, den Vertrag vor der Unterschrift sorgfältig zu lesen. Ihren Hinweis zur Kommunikation am Schalter nehmen wir daher sehr ernst.
Den Vorwurf der „Abzocke“ weisen wir zurück, erkennen jedoch an, wie wichtig es ist, jede Position und jeden Preis vor der Zustimmung eindeutig zu erklären.

Autovia car rental Pisa Airport cowboys
This company is a rip off and will scam you over alleged damage. I hired a car between 28/05/26 - 02/06/26. They tried a hard sell for extended insurance, despite me already paying for it through the booking and made it clear I would have to pay for damage.
On return, despite requesting the vehicle to be inspected I was told there was nobody available so had to just hand the keys in. I completed a full video of the car, noting no damage.
I have since been charged €265 for what I would describe as a 25mm scuff on the roof at best, which would polish off. There isn't even evidence its the same car. Photograph, no video of continuity.
Its a clear scam that i have no way of disputing as they will just take the money off my card.
I took a full video of the car on collection, but the mark is that small and insignificant, it wouldn't show up regardless. They have clearly just looked for any scuff that would show up on a photograph and are satisfied with that. It would be interesting to see how many times they have charged a customer for this scuff. The photograph is embarrassing to call it damage!!
Ignore the fake 5* reviews, they are fake and generated by AI like the company replies to negative reviews.
Disgusting company and people, do not use as you will pay a financial penalty!!
UPDATE
Autovia attempted to have my review removed as they said it contained defamatory content. Trustpilot disagreed!!. There are far too many identical 1* reviews for it to be wrong. Do not use!!

Dear Customer,
we are sorry for the experience described, but we firmly reject the accusations of scam, fabricated damages and fake reviews.
Coverages purchased through brokers are separate products from the Autovia rental agreement and do not automatically remove the deposit, excess amounts or liabilities applicable at pick-up. Protections offered at the desk are optional and the choice always remains with the customer.
Regarding damages, any charge must be based on a comparison between the vehicle condition at pick-up and the condition recorded at return, supported by photographic documentation. When the vehicle is returned without an immediate inspection, for example due to temporary staff unavailability or key drop-off, the check may be carried out afterwards according to the applicable procedure.
If you believe the reported mark was already present or that the charge is incorrect, you may send photos, videos and rental documentation to customercare@autovia.it so that the case can be reviewed in detail.

Please do not use this company. They are a scam and they will try and rip you off. I spent 6 months getting back my deposit. They are creating false five star reviews. Just look at the amount of one star reviews.

Dear Customer, we are sorry for the long time you report having waited for the return of your security deposit. Once the deposit has been released, the time required for the funds to become available may also depend on banking networks and the card issuer.
We firmly reject the accusations of fraud and of creating false five-star reviews, which we consider seriously damaging to our company’s reputation and unsupported by verifiable evidence. Customers are entitled to criticise the service received, but fraudulent conduct should not be alleged without concrete proof.

Very good first experience renting a car with Autovia
The car was of excellent quality and offered at a good price. It was new and impeccably clean. Both the pick-up and return processes were efficient and straightforward. The staff was very helpful, professional and kind. It was important additionally because of difficult family situation that aroused unexpectedly.
