Ich habe über viele Jahre immer wieder bei Avance in Griechenland Mietwagen gebucht und war bisher stets sehr zufrieden. Deshalb war ich dieses Mal umso enttäuschter.

Zunächst möchte ich ausdrücklich die Mitarbeiter vor Ort loben. Die Übergabe, die Abwicklung und der gesamte Kundenservice waren freundlich, professionell und hilfsbereit. Daran gibt es nichts auszusetzen.

Meine Enttäuschung betrifft ausschließlich den Zustand des Fahrzeugs. Ich erhielt einen Peugeot, Baujahr 2019, mit rund 98.000 km Laufleistung. Das Fahrzeug war an vielen Stellen verbeult und zerkratzt, auch sämtliche Felgen waren stark beschädigt. Darüber hinaus fehlten sowohl ein Verbandskasten als auch ein Warndreieck, was ich für ein Mietfahrzeug nicht akzeptabel finde.

Ich bat um ein anderes Fahrzeug, da ich mit diesem Zustand nicht einverstanden war. Mir wurde jedoch mitgeteilt, dass kein Ersatzfahrzeug verfügbar sei.

Wenn man einen Mietwagen über das Internet bucht, erwartet man ein gepflegtes und verkehrssicher ausgestattetes Fahrzeug. Ich hätte mit einem Wagen gerechnet, der höchstens drei bis vier Jahre alt ist und deutlich weniger Kilometer gefahren wurde. Ein fast sieben Jahre altes Fahrzeug mit knapp 100.000 km und diesem äußeren Zustand entspricht meiner Erwartung an einen professionellen Mietwagenanbieter leider nicht.

Schade, denn aufgrund meiner bisherigen positiven Erfahrungen hatte ich deutlich höhere Erwartungen. Ich hoffe, dass Avance künftig mehr Wert auf den Zustand und die Ausstattung der Fahrzeuge legt, denn der gute Service der Mitarbeiter verdient eigentlich auch Fahrzeuge, die diesem Standard gerecht werden.

bad, stay away from it. I booked a toyota and I got a beat up french car, WTF?! it was in poor shape inside and outside; when I returned it they invented a new scratch which was there from the beginning; it was laughable :) and sad in the same time; I do not recommend it, go with something else. ah, and the prices they have, pure ripoffs.

Noleggiata auto all'aeroporto di Atene.
Nonostante avessi prenotato da tempo l'auto era diversa dal modello richiesto.
Auto molto usata, con moltissimo segni sulla carrozzeria e cappelliera rotta (impossibile nascondere i bagagli)
Dopo 200 km si accendono 3 spie arancioni. Faccio le foto e seppur con difficoltà contatto assistenza che mi dice che pospo proseguire. Al successivo rifornimento l'addetto vede le spie e controlla l'olio che era quasi a secco. Mette un litro d'olio e le spie si spengono. Avviso l'assistenza.
Alla riconsegna nessun rimborso perché non avevo lo scontrino (ma dalle foto tutto era chiaro).
In ogni caso l'auto mi era stata consegnata quasi priva di olio e ho corso il rischio di rovinare motore e vacanze. Ma nessuna scusa

Rented a 9 seater van for my family for our week in Corfu and can’t praise Avance enough. Team were friendly and not much waiting around which I’ve experienced with others. The price was good and also on return I had a dent/scratch which I thought I did so was expecting the worse but they were honest and said it was already there. Honesty goes a long way. Would 100% use Avance again. Thanks Wayne

I rented a car from this company in Mykonos. When I rented it they withdrew 870 euros from my account even though they said they were just blocking it. I returned the car on June 19th and since then I have been waiting for the refund. I called them and a guy named Michel rudely told me that I have to wait 25 days for the return. I was not informed about this when I rented the car and I did not make any credit agreement with this company. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM THEY ARE SCAMMERS.

Never been to Kos before, and needed a hire car. Did the usual search through Expedia and came across Alma Car Hire with the type of car we needed and a decent price and they had a desk in the airport rather than off site. We were due to arrive after office hours, I emailed customer service and they said 'don't worry, this is fine' someone will be there. On the day, our flight was delayed, I emailed to let them know, again the response was reassuring ' thank you for letting us know, all will be okay'...arrived and found Alma was booking for Avance Cars. It was after hours, we were the last customers, on the last flight arriving that day, from what we could see. The guy at the desk was AMAZING (I believe his name Vassilli, sorry if this isn't exactly correct as he deserves a mention), he took his time greeting us, explaining everything we needed to know about the car, showed us a map of the island, asked what we liked doing, gave us some recommendations, saw we had kids, pointed out some places they might like to go, asked if there was anything specific we wanted to see, highlighted a route up to Zia avoiding the route and time all the coaches head up etc etc even warned us about the ridiculously low speed limit on the main highway and that very few locals stick to it eg the road is single lane but wide, so keep to one side, the speeding locals will not get annoyed and you can stick to the speed limit and and avoid the police speed traps....little things like this amongst others, all very useful. We had a brand new car, he didn't come out and inspect the car, instead he highlighted some marks they had already noted on the sheet, it was dark so he told us to use the torch on my phone to inspect the car and if there was anything we found take a photo or video and show them when we dropped the car back off. Do it straight away as they will look at the time stamp as evidence it was done before we drove off...very sensible and very relaxed.
During our holiday, we followed some of his recommendations etc and had a great time. When we dropped the car off, at a very busy time of day, he was one of the guys working and again took time to say hello and ask about our experiences, he even apologised for continuing to inspect the car and sort the paperwork out, in other words do his job, as we chatted and were getting our belongings together. All round a fantastic experience.

There was a small fee for collecting out of hours (€25), but this was expected and around half the price as a different company we used the year before in Portugal.

The customer service was good and polite. However, the car I got was very old and had close to 90k kms on it. It literally broke my back while driving. Taking 3 stars off for renting out super old extremely uncomfortable cars. Won’t ever rent from these guys again for this reason.

Es war eine Frechheit ein Auto aus der angeblichen SUV Klasse zu vermieten ohne zu sagen das dieses Auto überhaupt keine Zug hat ich hatte fast einen Unfall bei meinem ersten überholvorgang mit dem Auto das zog einfach nicht als ob jemand auf der Bremse steht und nach meiner Beschwerde und bitte das Auto sofort aus zu tauschen sagte man mir das dies schon geht ich jedoch erneut zahlen müsse und für das Auto nur do zurück nehmen können . Es ist eine bodenlose Frechheit mit dem Leben von Kunden zu spielen , völlig unqualifiziertes von Personal in Kalamata

Es werden Autos zum Mieten von AVANCE online angeboten, welche die Station AIRPORT ATHEN gar nicht in der Mietwagen Flotte hat. Man bekommt dann ein KFZ in der "gleichen" Kategorie. Altes Fahrzeug mit 136.000 KM, verkrazt und mit Schäden, Fahrertüre verzogen so das es beim Fahren reinpfeift, Schlüssel defekt, Scheibenwischerdüsen defekt, Autos sind nie vollgetankt. Das war nun unsere zweite schlechte Erfahrung mit AVANCE. Wir buchen nicht mehr bei diesem Anbieter!

Ho noleggiato un auto a Mykonos ho fatto l'assicurazione casco, per 6 giorni ho pagato 226 euro circa però mi hanno prelevato, immediatamente 500 euro sul conto oltre al pagamento del noleggio. La cauzione è a garanzia e non un prelievo immediato.la macchina è piena di piccole bozze e graffi abbiamo fatto il video, spero di non avere problemi domenica quando riconsegnare la macchina. Chiedo che la cauzione sia immediatamente rimessa sul mio conto, con la stessa tempistica con cui è stata prelevata in tre minuti

Avance Car Rental is a professional car rental company and fully met my expectations. The reason for the low overall rating is that the Chania airport branch charged my Norwegian credit card for the deposit of 993 euros instead of just blocking the amount. This resulted in a loss for me of over 500 NOK (about 45 euros) due to different exchange rates for buying/selling currencies. Be careful if you do not have a Euro Visa card!

Average rating, because the service at the counter is good, the employees are friendly, but the cars are really disappointing.
In 3 rentals at Athens airport, I had old cars with defects (clutch much too worn, very tired suspensions, lack of speed stabilizer, no FM radio...).
The last one was a D-Class, though. I had a very uncomfortable 301; the rear passengers were very unhappy.

Alles super geklappt und keine weiteren Versicherungen etc wollten verkauft werden. Wir haben 2 Autos reserviert, weil wir viel Gepäck hatten. Ein Auto nur für den Transport. Der Vermieter meinte, wenn alles Gepäck in einem Auto Platz hat, müssen wir das zweite nicht bezahlen. Das hat uns sehr gefreut und wir haben alles Gepäck in einem Auto untergebracht.
Miete das Auto sehr gerne dort...schon öfters....und nie Probleme gehabt.
Nächstes Jahr werde ich wieder bei Avance buchen.

Avance Thessaloniki, wir haben einen rundherum lackbeschädigten VW Polo erhalten, aber der Wagen lief super uns bei der Rückgabe gab es keine Probleme, bei Fahrzeugübernahme wollte uns auch niemand teure Zusatzversicherungen verkaufen...wir hatten nichts zu meckern, sofort wieder.

Wir haben es geschafft in 5 Tagen 3 Autos unterschiedliecher Fabrikate. Das erste Fahrzeug wahr ein Renault der gleich am nächsten Tag kapput ging. Warnleuchte Einspritzsystem. Wir haben es geschafft 80 km zurück nach Athen zu fahren mit sehr lagsam laufenden Motor. Das Fahrzeug wurde dann in der Station in Athen gewechselt. Da erhielten wir einen Dacia der uns am 2. Tag der Nutzung kapput ging, da hat sich die Wasserpumpe aufgelöst. Da standen wir 180 km entfernt von Athen. Wir haben uns von einer befreundeten Familie abholen lassen. Wieder in der Abholstation haben wir dann einen Audi Q3 erhalten, mit dem wir dann am nächsten Tag zum Flughafen gefahren sind. Leider konnten wir das Fahrzeug nicht tanken, da sich die Tankklappe nicht öffnen lies. Die Fahrzeuge sind alle nicht ordnungsgemäß geartet, deshalb eintstehen diese Schäden. ich weiß von was ich rede ich bin Kfz Meister. Aber die Mietwagenfirma meinte daß der erste Schaden kein Schaaden wahr und man das Auto gleich wieder vermietet hat. Das nächste Problem ist die Tankregelung. Man unterzeichnet einen Vertrag, wo die Benzinmenge eingetragenist, aber wenn man zum Auto geht, stimmt diese nicht überein. Eigentlich wahr die Anmietung und Rückgabe voll zu voll gebucht.
ICH KANN DIESE FIRMA NICHT WEITER EMPHELEN!!!

We had a ultra smooth experience with the Syggrou office, renting a car that was as described and in good condition and having very good communication with them. Dropping off at the airport was really smooth too.
This is a company I feel confident with will approach again for sure.

Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience.
I booked and paid for a Peugeot 2008 (or similar B-SUV), but at pick-up I was given a Dacia Sandero Stepway, which is clearly a lower category.

I asked for a similar vehicle or even a paid upgrade, but was told that nothing else was available. I had no real alternative at the time and had to accept the car, only to return it shortly after and rent from another company.

This caused unnecessary stress, extra costs, and time loss. Even though the downgrade was acknowledged, the situation should not have happened in the first place.

I would not recommend AVANCE if you expect to receive the car category you booked.

Not recommended! They gave me a car that was already violated before my rental. Due to this, when i took the car, everything that i had in it were stolen!!! Nobody informed me about the damage when i received the car!

Ich hatte mich dazu entschieden zum ersten Mal am Flughafen Thessaloniki direkt am Terminal ein Wagen zum Mieten und hatte mich dazu entschlossen dies bei Avance zu tun mein größter Fehler.
Das Fahrzeug war rund um ramponiert komplett mit Dellen und fetten Kratzer verseht dazu der linker Schweller hatte mal ein fetten schlag bekommen und der rechter Außenspiegel komplett verkratzt wie mit Schmirgelpapier. Die Unverschämtheit überhaupt entgegengesetzt der vertraglichen Vereinbarung das die Kaution auf mein Kreditkartenkonto blockiert wird wurde der Betrag von knapp 900,00,-€ gerade mal 20 Min nach Fahrzeugübernahme von mein Konto abgebucht und erst nach 4 Wochen wieder mir gutgeschrieben. Auf meine mehrmaligen Nachfragen hin telefonisch und schriftlich bekam ich nur pampige Antworten dafür sei meine Bank verantwortlich die hätten damit nichts zu tun.
Wer eine anständige und seriöse Autovermietung am Flughafen Thessaloniki sucht sollte Avance unbedingt meiden ich kann diese auf keinen Fall weiter empfehlen wenn es ginge würde ich minus 10 Sterne vergeben.

I booked a car with Avance through Discover Cars for a trip to Kos in October. Pick up and drop off were fast, efficient and easy thanks to friendly helpful staff at the airport. There was absolutely no attempt to sell me add-ons but my prebooked insurance was acknowledged without fuss. I was even given an upgrade.
