The course worked well around my disability, full-time working and being a parent. My tutor was extremely supportive and reliable to ensure I'm managing my coursework - with regular check-in's and follow ups. Emma has acknowledged my health conditions and worked with me to ensure I completed my assessments and preparation. I would highly recommend!

I have just completed a Level 3 team leader course with Michelle as my tutor. Michelle was immensely supportive though-out my course and helped whenever she could and always had a positive attitude. She was very organised, helping me to manage my workload efficiently.
I found the workshops very beneficial and felt comfortable talking to my peers thanks to the support of the workshop leaders.

I am extremely disappointed with the level of support I have received from Babington.

My coach appears to be overwhelmed, as I frequently find myself having repeated conversations about the same topics. This raises concerns about whether adequate notes are being taken during our meetings. Additionally, there have been multiple instances where incorrect assumptions have been made, leading to confusion and inefficiency.

I am currently undertaking the Level 5 L&D qualification, and I am particularly dissatisfied with the learning approach. The programme relies heavily on self-paced learning modules that require extensive reading — often exceeding 30 hours. This method feels poorly designed, as it does not cater to different learning styles. I find it difficult to retain information when I am expected to read large volumes of content without engaging tasks or practical assignments. As a result, I feel that I am not gaining meaningful knowledge from the course.

Furthermore, there are issues with the Bud system. Previously, it was possible to log off-the-job (OTJ) hours based on reflections in a learning journal. However, this functionality is no longer available. Despite documenting my learning in my journal, I am unable to reflect this on Bud, which makes the process feel repetitive and inefficient.

Overall, my experience has been frustrating, and I do not feel supported in my learning journey. Unfortunately, I do not have the option to change provider, as my employer has chosen to use Babington, meaning I have no alternative but to continue with them despite these concerns.

Michelle Wolff was my skills coach and did a fantastic job of supporting me through the NVQ apprenticeship I was completing (team leader level 3). She had a clear understanding of what was being asked of the learner and always pushed to get more out of me when I was getting confused or missing the mark.

Jen McIntyre, who facilitated the workshops for this course, was very calm and welcoming, really open to discussion and encouraged learners to participate and feel safe in doing so.

The only thing I would improve on is that there are a lot of parts that overlap in terms of the structure of submissions, so it is important to ensure that learners understand this from the get go. I was learning through a business transition for the organisation and some of the things I needed to know early on were not made clear to me until I was allocated my new skills coach and much further through.

Working with my tutor, Emma has been a fantastic experience. Her patience, encouragement, and ability to break things down clearly had made a huge difference in my progress and helped me to achieve a Distinction. I genuinely looked forward to each session and will miss her greatly! Thank you Emma!

I have completed a Operations Departmental Manager Level 5 apprenticeship with Babington. I have to personally thank my incredible tutor Michelle for all her help and support during my apprenticeship. She was always great at giving responsive feedback and helping me to improve and develop.
Michelle has given me the confidence to believe in myself and supported me to complete my apprenticeship and even achieve a distinction! She has truly made a difference to me and I thank her for that.

The apprenticeship has been an excellent experience. I have gained a deeper understanding of my workplace, developed valuable knowledge and learned more about my own strengths and capabilities. It also helped me secure a secondment into a better-paid role.

My tutor, Michelle, was a huge support while I was preparing for my EPA and completing the individual modules. She helped to build my confidence, which ultimately enabled me to pass my Level 3 Team Leader apprenticeship. Overall, my experience of the apprenticeship was very positive thanks to the consistent support and guidance provided throughout what was an intense course

Amy has been an amazing tutor. She is really supportive, knowledgeable, and always there to guide me every step.
At every stage, Babington provided excellent support and training. My ILM 5 apprenticeship has been immensely valuable, helping me grow both personally and professionally.

I am leaving this review to express my gratitude for my tutor, Michelle Wolff. Earlier in my course, after experiencing a turnover of a couple of tutors, I felt incredibly lost and overwhelmed. I was actually very close to quitting. Thankfully, Michelle took over my learning journey. From the moment she stepped in, I have felt so much more organised, focused, and genuinely supported. I am now about to go into my end-point assessment feeling fully prepared. If you get Michelle as a tutor, you are in excellent hands!

Trainer who only deals in distinctions

There was no difference here, Geoff got me a distinction after giving me solid feedback over the 12 months of my apprenticeship and getting me the Distinction he'd been confident I'd get.

My tutor Marc supported and helped me recently achieve a distinction with Babington. He was always very approachable and patient with my questions and assisted at every step. Thank you for the support and the laughs on the calls! - I would recommend Babington to all colleagues!

I recently completed my Business Administration Level 3 course, and I wanted to take a moment to share how incredible my experience was—especially thanks to my tutor, Dawn.

Dawn supported me every step of the way throughout the entire course. From the very beginning, she was always there to guide me, answer my questions, and keep me motivated. Her encouragement and patience made such a big difference, and I honestly don’t think I could have completed the course without her support.

She has a great way of explaining things clearly and made even the more challenging parts feel manageable. I’ve learned so much from her, not just about the course content but also in terms of confidence and staying focused.

I’m so grateful for everything she’s done for me. If you’re lucky enough to have Dawn as your tutor, you’re in very good hands. Thank you again for all your help!

I have recently completed the Level 5 Coaching Qualification where i have learned skills that not only will support me as a manager but will help me in life.. My tutor, Amy D'Orzail, has been extremely supportive throughout, providing me with her extensive knowledge and guiding me through the course. I believe that if it wasn’t for Amy, I may have given up. I am very grateful to her for all her support.

I had a great experience in my Lvl 3 Business Administration Qualification, and a large part of that was down to my tutor Emma. Emma was always flexible, eager to help, and incredibly efficient with resources. I wouldn't have got the grade I got without her!
