I bought the super x metal series 15 in 1 trimmer from amazon. The product comes in 2 colour variations. I liked the gold/blue so went for that. The black/silver version is the same price and is named on the babyliss website as the 'super x metal series 15 in 1 trimmer' also so any reasonable person would think it's just the same trimmer in a different colour. The blue/gold came with a travel bag for it which is fine but the silver/black is pictured with a charging dock that would also hold the magnetic trimmer heads that come with it. This looks good in pictures and would look good in the bathroom. However, when the tray arrived from babyliss, I was left bemused since the usb charging cable that came with my trimmer didn't fit the charging port on the tray. I contacted babyliss and they said that although they look the same they have a different connection for charging. There is absolutely nothing on their product descriptions to say these are different or have a different connection type for charging. The spares and accessories page does not indicate they are not compatible in any way either. The customer service advisor just said 'there's nothing i can do, I'll pass on your feedback'. What a terrible customer experience. I won't be buying from them again.

I bought this online in November got it under 50euro but it's not great it takes ages to dry my hair no power in it at all I've made so many mistakes buying hairdryers and yet another one
Im not saying babyliss is not a good brand as my friend has another type and it's better so in future I'll need to really do my research as I've hone through 4 or 5 hairdryers.

The battery and charger were bought online 3/24/25 and they are crap. As of now 07/05/25 at less than 4 months old, neither work and I double checked by putting the battery in a coworkers charger and one of her batteries in my charger. Both are definitely bad.
Called babybisspro and support said these are parts and are not covered. I’ll never pay for this POS ever again. I’ll be going to another brand. That Babybliss trimmer I was about to replace. Not happening!!!

They do not have a customer service they do not accept complaints of any kind even if their product is a manufacturing fault so no warranty is valid here.

I just hope as many as possible see this so they stay away from Babyliss products.

As i do own a fair share of Babyliss products and always been happy with the quality this will be my last buy from them due to the lack of professionalism and service.

Concernant la tondeuse multi-usages BaByliss MT996E Super-X Metal Series, la tête pour la barbe s’est cassée au bout d’un an seulement. Aujourd’hui on me demande de racheter cette tête pour 30 euros… une blague.
N’achetez pas leurs produits bas de gamme : vous économiserez de l’argent et du temps.

A pretty good hair dryer I got here, and the only minus of it is that its' a bit heavy. If you have short hari, it's ok, but long,. its a bit heavy :D
Like the drier itself is high quality and I have it for like maybe 4 years and it's still working fine, and I didn't fix it or anything. On mine I like function like when it gets too hot it starts doing a bit warm air too. XD

Never received shipping email. Waited two weeks, was told product was delivered two days earlier and that it was my responsibility to reach out to them for a tracking number even though in the initial confirmation email and on their website it says you will receive a second one with shipping details. Proof of delivery from UPS is a blurry photo of a box that doesn’t show an address sitting in a mail room and of course wasn’t there when I went to get it. My buzzer number was in my address, there was no excuse not to contact me. Babyliss refuses to refund or send a replacement 2.5 months later after following up with them weekly as they are allegedly waiting for UPS to finish investigating themselves.

They don't reply to your emails, even if it's simply a product information request

The Worst Customer Service. I have called 5 times and left them a message to call me My travel hairdryer is dead. Yes they call back and then the line cuts off. Ive sent email requesting a new dryer........Have you heard from them? I haven't. Don't buy from this company.

Je tiens à informer les prochains potentiels acheteurs que je suis extrêmement déçu de la marque Babyliss. J'ai acheté une première tondeuse qui avait un défaut de batterie. Celle-ci m'a été remplacée par une nouvelle tondeuse. Cependant 1 an après avec une tondeuse de la même marque : à nouveau un problème de batterie sauf que cette fois-ci on m'explique qu'il n'y aura pas d'échange ni de remboursement car c'est un produit de remplacement et qu'il n'y a pas de garantie dessus. Donc à savoir les batteries de la marque Babyliss ne tiennent pas + d'un an... Réfléchissez bien avant d'acheter car 2 modèles différents et 2 problèmes identiques. Une belle arnaque pour une marque en qui je n'ai plus confiance !

I am utterly disappointed with the service I have received from Babyliss regarding my recent purchase of the Babyliss straightener. Despite the order status indicating delivery, I have not received the product even after three weeks.
Every time I call to Babyliss, I am greeted by Claudia, who not only lacks basic courtesy but also seems completely disinterested in helping to customer. She robotically repeats the same unhelpful information, blatantly ignores my questions, and attempts to cut me off mid-conversation. It's as if she is trained to frustrate customers rather than resolve their issues. I have tried to voice my concerns repeatedly, only to be met with rudeness and incompetence.

Very poor quality products. Got a brush from them and is useless after 1 day.
The spikes of the brush fall inside after first use and you can not use a second time.

J'ai déjà acheté 2 Curl Secrets pour moi-même (remplacement du premier dû à l'usure normale due à de nombreuses utilisations). J'apprécie tellement ce produit, très pratique et simple d'utilisation, que je viens d'en acheter un comme cadeau d'anniversaire pour ma fille de 36 ans.

Excellent product, best trimmer I used so far!!!

Good air styler! I use on middle heat setting as too hot for my fine hair full on! Dries well and stying with brush is good! I have short hair and inclusion of a smaller brush would have been good! Glove is needed if touching the brush! But works well! Handle is a bit big, but not as heavy as my regular hair dryer! A godsend for long hair I would imagine! If the handle was smaller and a smaller brush had been included, would have been 5*s.
Purchased at Boots for £50. Well worth it!
