Got here fast, and great packaging.

Usually get my samples from badshah and I would say they are reliable and are also delivered relatively quickly.

Hello everyone. We are a group of friends that meet every month to test and rate fragrances new, vintage, niche or designer. We have been meeting for over 15 years and have a collection of over 1000 perfumes between us. We are also heavily involved on perfume enthusiast sites. We use decant sites predominantly to try fragrances we have had or tried before, but want to see how they are currently.

Why Badshah Scents?

We were looking for a decant of a specific fragrance which our usual suppliers didn't have. We found Badshah Scents via Google and then read all the reviews which gave us some confidence. When we read reviews we also look at the response of the company. Is it professional or friendly? Do they take bad reviews too much to heart? Do they reply to positive reviews or just to the bad reviews? In this case we see that they only respond to bad reviews which as a business is a shame.

How's the website?

Much better than most we have seen. Good picture clarity. Discounts offered. Looks professional and concise in detail. We were a bit confused at the name, as starting your name as "Bad" is not good marketing. We googled the meaning of "Badshah", and it is a masculine name meaning "King" or "Leader".
We do however recommend to put the year of purchase of the perfume you are selling. Not many sites if any do this. This is vital information especially with all the reformulating going on and the lack of time perfumes are allowed to maturate due to demand.

Have they got a good selection? Value for
money?

The selection is average. Our usual suppliers have far more brands and selection of each brand to choose from. Apart from the one we couldn't find of course. On the UK site under "all samples" it lists 260 perfumes (including the bundles) which is not a huge amount. Also the range of different brands available is also average. Comparing 3 well known perfumes with Badshah and 3 other sites for a 5ml atomiser. Badshah ranked the most expensive. But they do offer discounts on occasion, we just received a code for 15% off for a payday perk which will reduce the cost. Free delivery is offered on purchases over £40 in the UK which is double what our usual sites offer. We did receive a free sample with our order which is quite common but without sounding ungrateful was Lattafa Khamrah which is a very cheap synthetic EDP costing around £25.00 for 100ml. Perhaps a more bespoke approach to choosing samples is needed.

Payment, Packaging & Delivery?

Payment was easy and plenty of options available. We use the Shop app so we get all the information in real time. Our delivery arrived in 5 days which is fine. The packaging is a bit cheap. We certainly recommend more professional packaging to get 5 stars, put the atomisers in a vacuum sealed pouch inside the envelope. This will stop any chance of spillage and movement of the atomisers during transit. Wrapping each atomiser in bubble wrap is rather time consuming and cheap looking. The atomisers themselves are average and with a poor spray. We tend to decant into our own atomisers anyway. We would not buy a Roja Parfums travel atomiser and then flash Badshah Scents atomisers around. It would defeat the object of buying a quality and expensive perfume.

The perfume inside?

This is undecided at present. We have sampled all 3 perfumes and are having trouble with projection and longevity in all situations. This can be down to multiple factors. We will update later once we are all together and each of us have tried the perfumes we ordered to compare.

Will we return?

We will try Badshah Scents when and if they have something we cant already find. We have our eye on one thats just come in on their catalogue. Due to the pricing being higher than other sites Badshah Scents would be a last resort option for us.

It was fast service.I decided try some scents too expensive for me.
My mistake was ordered Ganymed 5 ml, I thought it's unisex perfume,but it took much musculine,very strong,real mens scent.
Baccarat Rough has some medical scent,so I am glad not wasted money.
