The service was great: when I forgot to apply a discount code, the team resolved it quickly. They are helpful and responsive.

Some UK customers report customs fees, but this is standard for any shipment from the EU to the UK after Brexit, and Balolo is transparent about this in their shipping policy. These fees are beyond the company’s control.

Yes, these are premium products with premium prices, but the craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and complete ecosystem are well justified. If you want simple desk accessories, there are cheaper options. If you want something that takes your entire workspace to the next level with exceptional build quality, this is it.

Awful customer experience. The hide the fact that they don’t pay the import fees. It’s on their site but you have to search to find it.

As a brand charging lot of money, they could cover this cost as many other bands do so the price shown on site is the price the customer pays.

They claim they have no way of doing this which is a lie - they send their stuff DDU which means the customer pays any fees. They should ship it DDP which means they cover the fees.

Such a shame as the product seems to be quite good.

The end product is of excellent quality. One thing to be clear on, the website talks about free delivery but does not highlight sufficiently that there's a customs charge in the UK. I have spoken with the company, which is very helpful, and I have suggested that they find a way to make it clearer to people. So its going to cost a little more than you expect, but is a top quality product.

Delivery is nowhere to be seen. Hit with a customs charge (their website should make this clear and estimate it/warn you... it's 2025!). Paid the customs charge and item hasn't been delivered despite Parcelforce saying its out for delivery. Consider alternatives for a piece of wood.

I recently purchased the Wall Desk Setup from Balolo along with several accessories, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment the package arrived, everything was smooth — well-packaged, carefully protected, and the unboxing experience felt premium and intentional.

The craftsmanship of the shelves and accessories is top-notch. It’s not just furniture — it’s a whole ecosystem designed with both aesthetics and functionality in mind, which I absolutely love.

I did run into some trouble mounting the Wall Cockpit onto a concrete wall and accidentally snapped 2 out of the 4 wall screws — likely a user error on my part. I reached out to support and was honestly blown away by how helpful and accommodating they were. They resolved the issue quickly and compensated me for the damaged parts without hesitation. You can tell this is a company that truly stands behind their products and cares about their customers.

Balolo feels like a very serious and reliable brand, and going forward, we at UNIWASH will definitely be ordering more shelves from them for our offices in Sweden.

Although the product is good it is severely over priced.

If I take the price out of it then I am happy with the cockpit pilot. But £400 with a few add ons and a shelf is extortionate. When I ordered I had intended to finish off the set up but that would cost me in excess of another £350 and I honestly don't see the value in that.

Another big issue is the import tax that is buried in the terms and conditions. I had to pay another £110 once it got to the UK. I feel this should be made clear before checkout. Balolo charge VAT at point of sale and then I pay it again when it gets to the UK. That increased the cost over 25% to £510. An already very expensive product just keeps getting worse.

When I consider value for money this is just not worth the cost. As I said I had intended on spending another £350 but unless they have at least a 25% sale I will not be going near it as even without the import costs this is far too over priced.

If the people reviewing this product on youtube had actually paid for the product then I think their opinions would be drastically different.

First appearance: when I saw the form. It was true to the form; build with know- how and attention to detail re authenticity. You need a certain touch for that …

And it was simple; I like that …

German-made with care and precision is what I expected, and it is definitely what I received. I ordered the large cockpit with laptop holder, small tray, cockpit shelf, phone holder, and magnets for cables. I have to say I'm impressed, everything is packaged nicely with with it's own box and paper, carefully planned out. The whole desk setup is minimal because it's precisely designed, and it pairs well with the 0 wire showing cable management that I did. The walnut finish matched my walnut desk well. I'm very satisfied!

The Setup Cockpit Monitor Stand and accessories look great in our home office setup in our new custom home. They are extremely well built. We could not be more happy with Balolo! And, great responsive service when I had any questions.

Balolo is worth every single euro i’ve spent. My experience with Balolo was exceptional. It exceeded my expectations, at first i was skeptical about the price. But with the 15% Sale i thought i would give it a go, and wow.

Previously i had tried to create the large cockpit setup myself, which was okay. But Balolo made me realise that after i purchased it, it made sense why it is “expensive”. The easy setup, the design, the minimalistic look. Everything is spot on, so every euro or dollar or whatever spent is justified.

As a big lover of desk setup optimisation, Balolo is top tier to realise that. 100% would purchase again, recommend and support.

Balolo elevates your desk setup - literally. Super high quality materials, easy to setup, modular. I was amazed how easy it as to make my desk feel premium like all the pics I saw on Instagram. I used to tolerate working in my home office, now it actually brings me some peace. I won't lie, it's not the cheapest on the market, but you do in fact get what you pay for.
