Bangor Savings Bank Corrupted Ethics
I loved Bangor savings Bank. I used them for my first mortgage and got a business loan from them. They were always so respectful and kind, and really represented as a bank that cares, and I bought into it. Boy was I mistaken.
Years ago my million dollar business was sabotaged by an ex girlfriend and I faced financial collapse, and faced losing my family home. Bangor Savings not only wouldn't let me address the 3 months arrears and started foreclosure, but hired one of the most aggressive and morally bankrupt attorney's named Michael Hahn, a guy so offensive that he was forced out of his law firm because the other attorneys thought he lacked any ethical compass. This guy took the almost unheard of step of attaching my business loan with a personal guarantee to my family home and used that to do a back end foreclosure, even though this is just not something that virtually any other attorney would have done in Maine.
So the moral is... If you get a personal loan from Bangor Savings they will take your house if they can to get it, even if the chance of getting any money back is virtually zero. Who does this? They chose that attorney knowing that this guy is the reason John Grisham writes so many novels about lawyers abusing their status, and Bangor Savings loved him so much that they hired another attorney with the same name to replace him when he retired or melted or whatever happens to people like this. Bangor Savings can not be trusted.
