The Bano team make me regret having used commercial banks all these years for my needs. They have an easy to use process, act promptly on instructions and provide great rates. Highly recommended.
Love the app and the cashback features, making spending a little less painful. splitting bills never been easier, and no awkward moments chasing payments with friends

Bano is a super app in Australia. Bano is licensed by the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC) and registered with Australian Transaction Analysis and Reporting Centre (AUSTRAC) & Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA). Get Cash Back on Every Card Transaction Receive up to 1.8% cash back when you use your Bano card to pay online/in-store. The more you spend, the more cash back you will receive. Split Bills or Collect Payments from Friends, Families, Housemates etc. Simply enter the phone number or Bano ID of the person you want to collect a payment from and Bano will take care of the rest. Payments can be made through the Bano App or using Apple Pay if the user does not have the app. This means your friends can pay you even if they aren’t a Bano customer.

Easy to use, splitting bills was fast and intuitive and the cashback is great I pay for everything with my Bano card now!

Good functionalities
It’s a pretty good app, love getting cashbacks every time I split bills with friends and I’ve gotten some pretty good deals on some of the promotions that they have run.

Bano is a very frustrating banking app
Bano is a very frustrating app! They still have my money locked away into my account because the app won’t let me log in anymore and there’s no way to contact them so it’s impossible to resolve this. I wrote a review stating my issue a couple months ago to nothing helpful outcome.
Also No PAYID I mean come on get with the times.

Banned from app even after clarifying on their use of promo. Do not recommend this app at all.

Bano is a really awesome and exciting app!
Love the experience especially the split bill feature.
Makes it so much easier when having to split bills amongst mates. The split bill reward is the best. What’s not to love?
