Slow in shipping, high in quality

A little slow on shipping, but there is no denying the superior Quality that is baofeng. After years of using standard walkie-talkies, our airsoft group decided to purchase a set of baofeng's.... No response to support enquiries

I tried to find information about their accessories for a particular radio. Despite a number of support enquiries and trying their on line chat which is never online, I have not received any response. If you need any customer service I doubt you will get any help. Extremely poor level of service and will not be recommended them.

I had an issue with programming the radio via software. Reached out to Baofeng. They did their utmost not to sort the problem. Kept asking questions then when I answere about that question, they asked another. I’ve sorted it now Poor customer service

Deceptive Advertising and Dismissive Customer Service

I recently purchased a VHF radio UV-17M from Baofeng radio, enticed by their website's detailed descriptions and promises of modern features, including USB-C charging. However, upon receiving the product, I was sorely disappointed to find that it did not include USB-C charging capabilities as advertised.

When I reached out to their customer support to address this discrepancy, I was met with nothing but short, rude responses, brushing off my concerns without any attempt to resolve the issue. It was evident that they had no interest in satisfying their customers or acknowledging their misleading advertising practices.

In my subsequent attempt to rectify the situation, I stumbled upon a tiny, barely visible disclaimer buried in their website, stating that the product did not include USB charging. Way smaller and in fading color compared to the pictures and text describing multiple times, that the product has USB charging. This deliberate attempt to obscure crucial information only further highlights the company's unethical business practices.

I am deeply disappointed and frustrated by Baofeng radio's blatant disregard for honesty and transparency. Their deceptive advertising tactics and dismissive customer service are unacceptable. I strongly advise against purchasing anything from this company, as you may not receive what you were promised, and any attempts to seek resolution will be met with disdain.

Further, the description described a 6 band radio. What was delivered was a 4 band radio...

They sent the wrong Walkie-Talkies; we returned with proof of delivery + photo of the package being signed for. Baofengradio went radio silence. Ironic!

I would NOT recommend this shop.

I received the wrong item, it wasn't as catalogued. I have made contact a number of times and was eventually asked to send a photo, which I did. Since then heard nothing, despite contacting them again.

TERRIBLE SERVICE

TERRIBLE SERVICE! HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE 3X RADIOS I ORDERED AND HAVE HEARD NOTHING IN RESPONSE TO SHIPPING.

Tracking states that the item was shipped 7 days ago however this is untrue. This company is a scam and is bribing its victims for positive reviews. Their warehouse isn’t even an actual building. Do not listen to the positive reviews on this site. Royal Mail has not received any information about the parcel. There is no evidence to say it has even shipped!!

I was told the product would arrive in a short about of time, and I ordered from this website in the hopes that it would ship from the UK and be authentic. This is not the case. The item is coming from China.

They also give the same copy and paste response to everyone asking them to wait a few more days. They are only active on this site but no where else.

I should have checked trustpilot before ordering - I am doubtful these radios will even arrive. I will not hesitate to escalate this to a chargeback if what is happening is not explained to me - there is something going on here that is not legal. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Got radios cheaper and faster from China

Ordered 2 radios and its been weeks with no delivery no updates and trying to contact somebody is impossible, nearly £100 down at this point and company has not attempted delivery or even contacted me to my emails I've sent them , currently 7 , live chat doesn't work just says currently offline no mater what time you go on there , I even tried at 3am and 5am nothing. I'd avoid buying from this company as at present I've managed to get a delivery of the same radio's from Ali express china that arrived in under a week. There's no excuse for a company to behave this way. I'd advise buying elsewhere as your get your radios cheaper and actually delivered

Update : now I have had a delivery and it wasn't what I ordered came directly from China not UK!! And only have 1 radio out of two I purchased , contacted them and seems nothing is being done , suprise suprise , why have a UK address and Web site if this all comes from China. Buy elsewhere honestly I've lost all hope and wasting my time !!!

Ordered from baofengradio.co.uk, who list 'Good Champ LTD' as the company. There is no company registered by this name on Companies House. There is no UK telephone number. The 'registered office' is in China town, London.

I have messaged the seller asking as they misled me on the delivery time, so I asked where my order was dispatched from, why Royal Mail Tracking hasn't updated in 6 or 7 days and when I can expect delivery - the response was - don't worry. What a joke. Can't even answer customers questions. Not good.

All I want is my order or a refund.

There is another website, baofengradio.com that appears to be the manufacturer. On their trust pilot page, they claim that baofengradio.co.uk is not selling legit radios.

Definitely something weird going on with all this.

There is not a 'Good Champ LTD' company.
They have no UK telephone number.
They will not answer direct questions.
You should not, under any circumstances, order from a company who misrepresents their company info, delivery times, and who clearly cannot be communicated with the people they take money off. I can see where this is going - have to get a chargeback arranged thru VISA.

Very disappointed that they get away with this kind of behaviour.

UPDATE 1 - have been offered a 5% refund, which I will not accept. The seller has asked for 2 more days, which is well outside of the stated delivery timeframe. The only one of my questions they answered was where the shipment originates from - China. Nobody in their right mind can expect to drop-ship with 7-10 days from China, so the seller is delusional.

I could never recommend this seller. If they are legit, then they are seriously harming the brand, not that they care.

UPDATE 2 - My radios finally arrived, but were not supplied with a programming cable. For some reason, they came with two antennas.

Have not tested them yet.

Good Champ LTD has vanished from the seller's website and has been replaced with Baofeng UK.

They are clearly masquerading as a UK seller from China, IMHO a total misrepresentation.

I suspect they are impersonating the manufacturer - eee.baofengradio.com

Should I have spotted the red flags sooner? YES!

Would I buy from whoever they are again? NO!

I never received the radio

I was asked to write a review. The radio never arrived despite Baofeng uk saying it had been delivered to me.
Royal Mail however admitted it never got delivered to me and was retuned to sender. Baofeng deny this so i wouldnt trust them. You may have better luck. Knowing the problems with Royal Mail i don't know who was to blame. All i know is i never received the radio i purchased. Royal mail have confirmed the item was delivered to Pangbourne where it was returned to sender. I live in Bristol and never received the item. Following the company reply i would like to add this. Feel free to check the tracking details yourself. The item may have been delivered somewhere but not to my address. The tracking also proves this. Unfortunately the Chinese company couldn't understand this simple problem.
I have since been refunded but as explained i never received the item.
Knowing the problems with Royal Mail these days i don't know who was to blame but was advised my contract was with the seller and all i know is the item never arrived.
