I bought a pack of 3 uv9r walki talkis and one of them came with the accessory port screw snapped inside so couldn't put the cover over to keep.it water proof or put a earpiece in ive contacted the company and they keep trying to divert the question frim me returning the product to me paying a extra £10 for a new radio even thought its a mess up on there end and they keep ignoring me.

I paid with iDeal the money left my account. It did not register on the company's website. So now it looks like I just donated money to this company. Emailed company they claim that they have not received any payment. They do not want to escalate this matter and contact iDeal to figure out what went wrong. If you have money to donate this company is happy to take it. I will now have to report this company everywhere I can. I keep on calling it a company, but it is probably a front.

Im just getting into Ham radio ive been dealing with Baofeng directly as a company in whole .There customer service in my experience has been top notch very helpful they helped me get the radio i wanted to start out and i will definitely deal with them again
Die Firma hat kein IBAN Konto. Alles wird über PayPal abgewickelt. Eine Telefonhotline gibt es dort auch nicht. Die versendete Ware wird von außerhalb der EU geliefert und muss den Zoll passieren. Am 16.7.2023 habe ich ein Baofeng BF-H6 bestellt. Am 21.7 habe ich ein defektes BF-H6 erhalten, der Zoll hat da keine Stichprobe genommen. Nach Hochladen
des Videobeweises, der auch akzeptiert wurde, bat ich um einen Retourenaufkleber um das defekte BF-H6 zurück zu schicken und Versendung eines Ersatzgerätes. Am 24.7 wurde mir klar gemacht, dass nach einer weiteren Überweisung von 8 Euro,
ich das defekte BF-H6 nicht zurückschicken muss und ein Ersatzgerät bekommen werde. Gut, dachte ich, dann kann ich ja das defekte BF-H6 entsorgen, was ich auch gemacht hatte. Als nach 11 Werktagen immer noch bei DHL nur eine elektronische Ankündigung des Ersatzgerätes vorlag (1 Segment), habe ich im Internet recherchiert.
Bei der Bundesnetzagentur fand ich unter abgeschlossene markteinschränkende Maßnahmen Folgendes: Dort unterliegen eine ganze Reihe von Baofeng Geräten beim Zoll einem Einfuhrverbot (Keine CE Prüfung, zu viel Oberwellenausstrahlung). Nach Hochladen der PDF Dokumente (Zoll-Einfuhrverbote) konnte ich Baofengradio überzeugen, dass das Ersatz BF-H6 vom Zoll abgefangen wurde und an das Warehouse von Baofeng mit einem roten Zollaufkleber zurückgeschickt wurde, und somit kein Ersatzgerät erhalten konnte.
Darauf hin habe um eine Rückerstattung der Kosten von 45.19 Euro (37.19 Euro defektes Funkgerät + 8 Euro Versand Ersatzgerät) gebeten.
Jetzt kommt der Hammer: Baofengradio will plötzlich nach 19 Tagen das defekte BF-H6 zurück gesendet haben, sonst gibt es keine Rückerstattung.
Das geht nun aber nicht mehr, da nach der Behalte-Erlaubnis vom 24.7 ich das defekte BF-H6 entsorgt hatte. Bis heute habe ich kein Geld trotz mehrfacher Aufforderung oder ein Ersatzgerät erhalten. Ich fühle mich mit meinen 63 Jahren reingelegt und bin zutiefst von Baofengradio enttäuscht. Ich werde dort nie wieder was bestellen. Dieser unfassbare Vorgang ist durch nichts zu entschuldigen! Dafür gibt's 0 Sterne (Order#15256).

I ordered a radio, an aerial and a programming lead. The total was over £50 so I was entitled to free delivery. This was the 20th July. Royal Mail tracking just said it had been dispatched, but had not arrived at the RDC. This was the same message until 31st July when it changed to 'Out for delivery'. After checking everything was present, I set up the programming cable. Tried to download the radio - The radio failed to respond. I did this several times with the same problem. After many emails to Baofeng, I was sent a link for the updated program (CHIRP). I could not get the results of the link to paste into my computer. I did eventually manage to download the radio, but after altering the frequencies to those that I required, the radio failed to respond when I tried to upload them to the radio. After many emails, I asked for a refund and the address to return the equipment. Just more emails asking me to try this and that. Absolute waste of time. I have been sitting here in front of the computer trying to program it manually, but it will not program. As far as I am concerned, it is CCS - don't ask what it means, I think you will know. Going to chat with a solicitor and have the radio checked out by a professional.

First class to deal with and of course good product I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to anyone.
Ordered a radio which of course wasn’t coming from their “UK” warehouse. Given a Royal Mail tracking number which still states now that they are waiting for the item. Emailed customer service who refused to provide the international tracking number and just asked me to wait another few days. On further pressing they stated that it’s on its way the country of destination. I’m sure it will arrive and be fine but I do not like that they try and keep it so secret on where your item currently is.

I bought a UV-5R which arrived working as expected. I was worried as the shipping info only said shipping without any tracking info but it did arrive 9 working days later. Seems to have shipped from China.
Service OK, quick to take payment, then slow to process, but once Royal Mail finally have the item, delivery is OK. I can only imagine the company lie when they say dispatched, and it's a week or so later once they physically do.
This latest order from them was for a pair of UV82 radios; each one is from a different manufacturing batch as the shells are slightly different and the led screen illumination are different brightness and shades of purple.
The unacceptable shocker was the quality of the included UK plug adapter. It was so poorly made that none of the contacts actually gripped the power adapter pins, the plug began arcing as it barely touched the pins. I had to dismantle each socket adapter and bend all the contacts to get them to make a positive connection with the power adapter once inserted. Truly shocking (almost, but definetly a fire hazard at least)
I'm sourcing two safely manufactured socket adapters, then the ones that were provided will be smashed with a hammer and thrown away to make sure nobody else can use them and risk causing a fire.
I placed an order in 7-July and 8th of July I was told the order status has changed to shipped. I am yet to receive the order on the 18th of July with the tracking number. No number to call. This is one of the worst services ever. Order number: 14405

UPDATE 20/06/23: The radios are yet to arrive but having looked at the tracking details they provided it appears they sent them to the wrong address on purpose, knowing i no longer live there. As I have refused to lie on this review they are now refusing to reimburse me for the P&P to send the broken radios to them. Trading Standards report will be informed asap.
UPDATE 08/06/23: They now claim to have posted the replacement radios to me. However they are still refusing to adhere to UK law and reimburse me for the P&P. They are holding it to ransom and attempting to bribe me to change this review to a 5 star.
I have reported this to Trust Pilot who are investigating.
Having ordered over 20 radios 2 of them didnt work. I contacted Baofeng in July 2022.
They asked for footage of the radios not working, they struggled to watch the different video in the multiple formats, each time they claimed the file didnt work, until i used my professional youtube channel to link it to them (september 2022). After that they asked for the CHIRP file.
They then eventually accepted the radios were faulty. I paid for them to be sent back to their UK site in November 2022. I had assumed two replacement radios would be sent to me, nope. They they then sent them off to China for assessment.
Every few weeks I would email to check. Eventually in APRIL 2023 quoting the consumer rights act they responded that the radios had been found to be faulty and that they had lost my details???
They then required me to pay for PnP to have the returned, i informed them that due to the consumer rights act they are required to pay for the PnP, after many emails going back and forth. They then eventually agreed to send back to the repaired radios to me.
Its now 11 months later and I am yet to receive the radios.
The customer service is so slow and shocking, i wont be ordering from them ever again.

An amazing radio for the money, a ham licence is needed to make the most of radio, but monitoring is allowed. I have great fun listening to the space station at it passes over. There are loads of Youtube videos to learn how to program channels.
I have bought over 30 UV-5R radios + some accessories over the last 24 months and delivery is prompt and support is good so I highly recommend Baofengradio.
