excellent all round service

I do not normally write review but made an exception in this case. What can I say - the non delivery was an utter shambles. The courier could not "find" my house and concluded the address was wrong. Did they make any effort? No. A quick search on a search engine would have confirmed the address and the addressee. The sender could not be bothered either. After 6 working days I gave them 24 hours to make the delivery. The item was supposedly at a depot 25 miles away. The sender elected to make a refund instead of ensuring the delivery was made. Would you really want to work with this calamity duo? I will be watching for the refund but I am not holding my breath.

Here is the supposedly rude and abusive email:

VDear Sirs,

What a lame excuse. The courier or yourselves did not try very hard. A quick input of xxxxxxl Road into a search engine will confirm the address; I know because I tried it. You or the courier could have sent me a text, email or phone call. Go to the very end of Hxxxx Road.

You have until the close of business tomorrow to deliver the goods otherwise it is good night. I have better things to do than wipe your arses.

Suggestion: Fire your courier

I needed a particular cable for a barcode scanner quickly. After ordering, Barcodestore confirmed that I wanted the cable on its own which was a worthwhile check and then dispatched same day exactly as promised. Would happily use again.
