Had the best shopping experience at Bariano Melbourne city store! Went in to buy one dress I saw online and with the help of the store assistant came out with a different dress that was perfect! Would highly recommended shopping there!

I wish I had read the reviews beforehand. I received a faulty dress and was told to return it, but since there were no other sizes available, I was promised a refund.

Why was a faulty item sent out in the first place?
Why is it impossible to reach anyone by phone?
Why does your online support offer no real help—just generic responses like “we’ll look into it” and “sorry for the inconvenience”?
Why does it take two weeks to process a refund because the accounts person is away?

Do yourself a favor and avoid shopping at Bariano.

Very bad customer service and worst shopping experience! Although theirs policy is same price in store and online I didn’t get the same price while I was in exchange room they charged my husband full price and I notice 20
min latter and they are not willing to fix the mistake and refund me 10%back !

Do NOT buy from this company.
Communication is poor. I’ve been waiting for a refund for months after dozens of follow ups and still no refund. Next step Fair Trading . It’s shouldn’t be this hard.

Paid express delivery ,on the 25th,it says (1-4day) today is the 2nd my order hasn't been sent yet,still same status.
Wrote them email. Anna replied my order was placed on 25th at 11am that's why was not sent on that day,she said it's going to be sent on the 26th, today is 2nd my order hasn't been sent.
I want my money back. This people only want money,I haven't received dresses spend $650, plus express delivery.. Do not waist you time,fo not order this is a scam 😒

This is the worst online experience ever and their return policy on sale items is unreasonable.

I purchased a dress based on their size guide (which is misleading) but the dress is too small and they won’t offer an exchange for the next size up. It seems ridiculous that there is no flexibility for online orders as you cannot try the garment on before making the purchase.

Furthermore, the size information needs to provide more information e.g ‘runs true to size’ or ‘runs small’

The company clearly enjoys contributing to landfill as that’s where the dress is going with tags and all!

I purchased a mystery box of three items and only received 2. As this is deemed a fault by the ACC I requested a refund and sent the goods back as advised. They then said PayPal wouldn't let them process the refund (I called PayPal and they said it was not an issue from my side). It's been over a year and I am still trying to get my refund. Dated today as this is ongoing.

Purchased online and it was not the best fit for me, contacted Amy at customer service and she assisted me and helped me exchange to the perfect dress, at the event everyone kept asking where I got this dress from!

After 8 emails with no reply, I finally was told that even though my dress did not fit, I was not able to get a refund or exchange because of the Bariano 'transparent' policy of no refund for sale items.
This is in contravention of Section 54 of Australian Consumer Law, extremely poor practice and dreadful customer service.

What a careless, greedy and unprofessional clothing business! I had purchased a dress directly from Bariano for which I was unable to pull up the zipper as it kept on jamming. I had reached out to their customer service team who never responded for days until I had to reach out again via email and Facebook messenger. They advised that I could go and book a return via their website for which I attempted to multiple times but could not due to error messages. I reached out again to them and again they said it should work, by this point I was losing my patience but thought I’d try again in case I was doing something wrong. No still no luck, I reached out again and continued to be met with silence. I finally received a response and a label provided for which I then returned the dress. There was no response no confirmation whatsoever on dress being returned and any outcomes. I reached out on multiple occasions without any response. I had to put in a new enquiry before someone replied to advise that the dress was not deemed faulty and therefore I would only get a credit note. The problem is that I did not receive any correspondence re this credit note and only upon questioning did they advise it was through a third party called ‘shopify’? I don’t have any email from this third party. Bariano really needs to get their act together and review their ordering, returns and refunds and exchange processes. It is severely flawed and the lack of regard to customers is quite evident from this experience. I own four other Bariano dresses purchased through The Iconic and I do a lot of online shopping, this one has got to take the cake wrt worse purchasing experience from a business that sells higher end cost garments. To this date I still have not got a credit note. Taking innocent people’s hard earn money or atleast hoping they’d forget about it since they make it hard for consumers to retrieve the money or credit back! Shame on you Bariano, sort yourselves out and respond to your emails!

Buyer beware absolute worst customer service, worst company to deal with. After dealing with Bariano to refund a faulty dress, I never received the refund have been dealing with a Clair from customer service who is clearly incompetent in her role. I cannot believe how unprofessional this company is never ever will I shop there again.
Worst customer service experience it is been six weeks and I still have not been received a refund.
In emails from Bariano, They have assured me that I have been refunded & but have not.
Clair has now ignored all my emails.
The Bariano head office phone number rings out no one ever picks up.
I have now gone straight consumer affairs Victoria and will be seeking damages and so should everybody else. I have all the emails to prove it and all the phone call dates and times.
I still cannot believe how unprofessional and careless this company is.

BARIANO WARNING! don't buy from Bariano Melbourne the MOST worst Nightmare experience my wife had with there customer service refund team. they could not make one straight decision, Claire has no talent to deal with costumers, for Bariano its all about all the MONEY they can make, a complete waist of time and effort dealing with this company. NEVER AGAIN. it went to the Point of contacting Fair-trading Victoria on there business practices. do your self a favor DON'T DEAL WITH THEM.

Yes, they will point you to the terms and conditions, but expensive event wear is hard to order online ! Will not do again. Wish I had read reviews first. It seems a common thread. I would have thought that a full priced dress that is unsuitable and not a good fit could be returned with a refund. This sort of inflexibility is not good for the brand. The material on the dress was not what I expected and the fit wasn’t right or flattering. Now I have an expensive credit note with a brand I now don’t trust. Unless you can try it in store. Don’t order it !

I was asked to return faulty dress I purchased online at my own cost. Despite following their instructions, I didn’t hear back for three weeks. After extensive back-and-forth communication, I finally received a refund, but not for the shipping cost. As they’ve agreed.Amy (the person who I dealt with) said they’ve offered me a $50 credit note for the inconvenience I experienced, but I have yet to see it. (Never received it) they only issue credit notes, even if the product is faulty. Stay away from them. Unless you wanna deal with just stress.

I recently made a purchase from Bariano Australia and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience with their return process. When I attempted to return an item, I was informed that they only offer store credit or exchanges, not refunds. This policy was quite limiting, and I wish it had been clearer during the purchase process.

I even visited their store in person to make the return, but I was redirected to complete the process online. After initiating the return online, I noticed a $15 handling fee was deducted, which seemed unreasonable.

While I understand that businesses have their own policies, a bit more flexibility and customer consideration would have been appreciated. This experience has made me reconsider shopping with Bariano Australia in the future.

The dress I purchased was exactly like the photos, even more stunning. The sizing was spot on to the sizing chart. The delivery process was excellent, received my order in 5 days. Would definitely buy again from Bariano.

BUYER BEWARE!!! I never received my order, when l contacted them they have not bothered to reply to tell me where it is. I have contacted their courier, couriers please, and they also do not reply.

I am sending a complaint to NSW Fair Trading to get my refund.

I ordered a dress online. The website was a shamble. I ordered a copper coloured dress but was sent a white dress with silver sequins which were falling off everywhere as I carefully tried it on. Their size guide was also incorrect so the dress is too big. Never the less I can’t wear a white dress to a wedding. It was delivered in a plastic post satchel, as if they were thankful to have finally rid themselves of the white dress once and for all.
I had sent many emails to DO NOT DELIVER as there seemed to be some kind of glitch in their system when ordering. All my emails bounced back as MAILER DEAMON, so assuming they then don’t receive emails or the email address is all for show. I’ve left countless voice messages in the number they provide, and again nothing. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars for a dress I’ll not be wearing
DO NOT ORDER FROM BARIANO, I certainly won’t be again.
I would like a refund as there was a glitch in their website and the dress is faulty.
