Took Barkers advice and preferred half size below my normal size. Perfect fit and comfortable. Arrive 3 days after order was placed.

Sadly not a great fit
These shoes were bought for my son. He has had Barker shoes before which have been excellent quality and a great fit. He is currently wearing Loake Medway shoes and these were bought as a replacement for them however they are not a good fit. He walks right out of them as they are too loose around the top of the shoe, his heel can come right out. Disappointing as I can see they are the usual quality however the design doesn’t work for him.

The shoe I bought is awesome
The shoe I bought is awesome. Though I had to break the bank to be able to afford this good shoe. Hoping someday it will be less expensive and students like me can afford it easily. I know there would be many people out there who wish it is slightly more affordable. This doesn’t mean the price I paid isn’t worth it. The shoe is worth it because it is a very good looking shoe. I really like it. Maybe student discount will help some of us students. 10/10

Money taken but no shoes in stock.
I made the order and the money was taken but the company did not actually have my size in stock. After some time waiting and trying g to discover what had happened to my order, I recieved a full refund but unfortunately, no shoes.

My shoes were delivered in good time…
My shoes were delivered in good time and were good value for money (I did buy them in the sale though!)
Shame so many of the ranges are made outside the UK now - we need to keep these skills going and find ways of making it good value - rather than having to have them manufactured elsewhere

I bought these using my trusty iPad and…
I bought these using my trusty iPad and didn’t encounter any problems. The shoes( Michigan Brown Waxy Calf) fit nicely and are very comfortable. When the time comes they can be repaired which is how it should be. They are also made in the UK.

First of all I bought the shoes in the sale and got a very good deal. They arrived on time in lovely condition and they look gorgeous in the burgundy colour. I've only worn them indoors up to now but they feel really comfortable and look great.

Too many requests for reviews
I own several pairs of Barkers shoes and I have generally generally been impressed by the quality of the shoes they make and the delivery service. Barkers has been my go to place for buying premium shoes, from a British based company.
The Santiago - Navy Suede loafers which I recently purchased were also very nice and I was happy with the shoes. They fit and look great and the delivery as efficient.
However, since the shoes have been delivered I have been bombarded with emails requesting I review the product. I received four separate emails yesterday alone, and by 9am today I had received a further two emails. Whilst I understand the desire to received feedback, this is too much and whilst their approach has prompted me to leave a review, it is a very negative one for that reason alone.
The next time I want a pair of good quality shoes I will not be purchasing from Barkers. Their shoes are great but there are some very good alternative British shoes sellers that also produce great shoes, without the terrible aftersales experience.
