I purchased my bark device in May and used it on my two dogs and it only made them bark more. I have been trying since then emailing the company letting them know that I was exercising my 30 day return policy to get a full refund. They responded back saying that they would offer a 50% refund and I could keep the item. I responded back saying no I don’t want to keep the item I want my full refund back. I received an email response back from the company stating that they would forward this onto the appropriate department to be processed. As of today, I have sent numerous other messages to the company with no response back from them.
I’m going to contact my bank and try to dispute the charge based on their 30 day refund policy to see if they can help me out.
Very unhappy with their customer service and the fact that they don’t provide a phone number to contact them!!

My dog did not bark that much, but if she saw anyone outside she would go nuts. The Barkshield has been amazing. She stops immediately, and does not bark nearly as much; she might growl quietly but rarely out loud. I live in a apartment-type building so this has been a godsend.

I ordered a pet cooling mat on July 25, 2025. Today is August 11th and still no mat. I believed this would be shipped from a store in the US. When I tracked it, to my surprise, it was shipped from China. I would have purchased through a known store in the US had I known this when ordering. This is an alert. If you need something within a week or two, don't order from this company. I hope my mat arrives while it can still be used to counteract the heat.

Do not waste your money. Didn't work on either of my pups..

I was skeptical as I have two yappers that I have tried everything to no avail. This product really works. I now only have to say no and pick up the barkshield without pressing buttons and they stop their barking.
I am considering ordering another one for my pocket when working in the yard.

I purchased this device but my dog doesn’t react well to high pitch noise this has made her bark more, I’ve emailed three times and got no response, scam company as can see another person say the same when trying to get a refund yet they advertise 30 day money back guarantee 😡

UPDATE August 12th 2025
Yesterday I filed a claim with my bank regarding Barkshield not providing the customer satisfaction they offer.
My bank immediately opened a claim and within 24 hours a full refund was initiated from Barkshield and 5 hours later I received this email from Barkshield.

"Thank you for your patience.
Your refund has now been processed. Please allow 5-7 business days for the amount to reflect on your original payment method. If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to reach out—we're happy to help.

BarkShield Team"

Coincidence or my bank had my back?
This was so unecessary as in the right circumstances the product works great.
Hope you all have a better experince than myself and others on here.

While the product is good when you are closer to your dog, it doesn't work for me when he is the back yard and our window is closed. I need to go to the window, open it and then he responds. Most times by the time I have done that, his behavior has stopped.
I purchased this with the assurance of a 30 day money back guarantee.
This seems to be an area in that they
CLAIM TO DO, BUT DO NOT DO.
I have sent multiple emails to "initiate a refund" since Jul 17th and the only reply I got was Jul 28th.

"Thanks for reaching out, and I’m sorry to hear the Bark Shield hasn’t worked as expected for your dog.
While results can vary depending on the dog’s age, sensitivity, and training history, we completely understand your concern. As a resolution, we’d be happy to offer you a 50% refund, and you can keep the device—no need to return it.
Please let us know if you’d like to proceed with that option."
I replied back thank you for the offer but I would like to initiate a full refund.
It has been crickets since.
I then got on their website and called the number. No surprise that the number is not in service.
Their customer service claims seem to be false and non existent.
Keep this in mind before you buy from them.
Or go to Amazon where they have way better customer service.

It stops my barking dog in his tracks! It’s been the only thing that has really made a noticable difference with him.

I ordered an anti barking device and changed my mind as my one dog gets very stressed with high pitch noises.
I cancelled the same day before they had dispatched and they still sent it.
They then say they dont do returns and offered a 50% discount.
This is totally unacceptable as they offer a 30 day money back policy so a total dishonest sale.

I used 1 day on my Aussie and Morkie
The Aussie is so much better. I really don't have to use on her anymore. However, the little Morkie. She is stubborn and she is requiring more. She is better but is still barking a lot.

I was beginning to resent my dog as the barking was ridiculous. I tried many other training methods and did not want to go to shock device.
This worked in a day and we have been able to sustain the change for 3 weeks and BARELY need to push the button now. (SHUSH and seeing it works) .

Very effective in training the neighbors' yappy chihuahuas to not bark at the scary air blowing past their faces, or run outside and start barking at any noise they hear. The soundless device saves creating strife with the lovely neighbors about their annoying animals.

I was skeptical, but hopeful, and thankfully, this product has exceeded my expectations. Not only is it helpful with barking, but as a general training tool. We have three small dogs and this product instantly gets their attention and helps them to focus on commands like stop barking, come, stay, etc…. Highly recommend it, but it needs to be used in conjunction with good training techniques.

It worked instantly! My pups would go crazy when I’d come home from work. It only took 3 and yes I said only 3x before they totally stopped the crazy barking just because I entered the house. AnD I noticed ,without any effort, they would come in immediately when I called them after letting them outside to potty! This Bark Shield is truly AMAZING & so simple to use!!

Terrible! I’ve been asking for a refund since May as my dog doesn’t respond to the device and I get a reply email now and again but just the same reply “they will look into it”. I want my refund! It was about $130 so not cheap!
