I had a really good experience with the Online Learning Care Skills QQI Level 5 course. The lessons were easy to follow, and I liked that I could study at my own pace. The course materials were clear and practical, and the assignments helped me understand real-life care situations better. It was convenient to learn online while managing my daily responsibilities. My tutor was super active and of great assistance in taking time to go through my assignment, correct my mistakes calmly and patiently. I will recommend this course to anyone to anyone looking to build skills in care.

Everyone at Barrow Training was very responsive and helpful whenever I’ve had questions, which I really appreciated.

I found that I did most of my learning through completing the assignments and doing research. While I gained a lot from the course overall, there were a number of typos and formatting inconsistencies in the course material that I found distracting. I think the learning experience could be improved with a thorough proofread and quality review of the copy.

I learned to use visual schedules, positive reinforcement, and simple behavior modification strategies.
The course helped me become more patient, confident, and better prepared to support children in the classroom.
