Truly lovely experience with Basecamp Gear; the staff were friendly, patient and accommodating. I loved the fact that I had the option to pitch the tent before buying and the service was catered to my needs. A lovely local business who I will use again

Excellent service - product immediately dispatched and received the next day even just before Christmas. Would use again.

Absolutely delighted with my recent experience purchasing online from Basecamp. I was trying to track down a Montbell down jacket for my son and came across Basecamp's website. At first I wasn't sure if it was genuine as a lot of product descriptions are populated with "we haven't yet decided what we think of this item", however I checked out reviews and got the reassurance I needed to go ahead. Pricing was good but the customer journey from purchase was even better. I ordered on a Sunday and my item was dispatched via Royal Mail Tracked 48 the next day (given this was following Black Friday sales, an extremely impressive achievement!) My item should have arrived on Wednesday so on Thursday I dropped the team an email to see if they could provide an update on shipping. Rob went over and above, phoning Royal Mail multiple times to try and get an update and keeping me informed every step of the way. The coat has now arrived and my son absolutely loves it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this highly efficient company who have been a pleasure to deal with.

Excellent price with good communications about the delivery, couldnt be happier. Wouldnt hesitate to order from again

Excellent Service, Speedy Delivery.
Excellent Prices for Quality Goods.
Highly Recommended Seller of Outdoor Kit.
Thank You

Excellent!

I ordered an outdoor jacket that would ordinarily be in the upper price segment, but was heavily discounted at Basecampgear. 60% off, or so, even more when comparing to Swiss prices. I even thought maybe I'm beeing fooled somehow. But nope. I got the tracking details really quick, and 4 days later the jacket arrived in Switzerland, nicely packed. Could not be happier with the whole process.
