I had the opportunity to attend an incredible masterclass with Angela. Her patience and knowledge are truly remarkable. Over the course of a few days, my colleague and I learned about a wide range of topics, from hair trauma background and history to products, hairstyling, and haircare. If you're seeking a comprehensive course with personalized, hands-on instruction, don't hesitate to book with Angela. Her models were friendly, helpful, and a joy to work with. I booked a one-to-one session with Angela as I wanted to update my make-up routine and, also learn some new techniques. Angela is very patient and thorough and whilst introducing the client to new products she also shows you how to make the most use of the products already in your make-up bag. She also provided lots of hints and tips of how to achieve the same look at home. She followed-up the session with an email with links to some of the products we had used. Angela is very welcoming and friendly. It was a very enjoyable two hours, and I would certainly recommend Angela to anyone wishing to update their make-up routine.

I took Angela’s 2 day course. She was so helpful and patient from the moment I booked and kindly managed to squeeze me in last min. On the course Angela was so calm and informative, she made me feel confident and the knowledge I gained from her over the 2 days was huge.

I took part in the Beginners Afro Hair course for professionals yesterday and I'm so glad I did! Angela was helpful and informative (even before actually booking the course) and gave not only styling tips but some really helpful information about hair textures, misconceptions and product recommendations (to list just a few take-aways). Angela is really encouraging, but allows you to work at a pace you're comfortable with too - nothing was rushed and the 1-1 or small group format allows continued support throughout. I will absolutely be booking further training.

Angela was wonderful, she was patient and great at teaching. I learnt so much on the 2 day workshop with her. I would 100% recommend.

Angela is an incredible teacher, she not only teaches you invaluable skills but gives you an incredible insight into the culture and history of Afro hair. I have used the skills I have learnt with Angela so many times I have lost count, whether physically using my skills or sharing the product knowledge - she has impacted my daily working practice no end. I can't recommend her highly enough.

Angela provided helpful tips throughout the session and she was patient with the explanations and generous with her time. I did not feel like she rushed the session but felt that she was in the moment and truly present which is important to me.

I attended Angela’s Afro hair course in London. I’m a complete beginner and all i can say is WOW what an amazing course she is running. I was fortunate enough to have her teaching me one-to-one. I have gained so much knowledge and confidence with my approach to textured curly hair. As a makeup artist in the TV/Film industry it is vital for me to know everything i can about all hair types, and for me to make the artist in my chair feel that they’re in good hands and are as comfortable as possible, and after this course i feel i can do so. I attended an Intense Afro Hair course run by Angela Stewart which I really would recommend. I think it’s good to update your skills and Angela was very informative and friendly.

I attended the 1 day intensive with Angela, I don’t usually do hair but I was so interested in textured hair! I have to say that I absolutely fell in love with the hair textures and the techniques and Angela is such a great teacher, I learned so much from just 1 day! I attended the 1 day intensive Afro hair course and absolutely loved it. Angela is an incredible teacher whose patience and understanding gives you the confidence to push yourself and get exactly what you need out of the training. She shared her invaluable experience that went way further than just the practical side of afro hair care/braiding etc and into understanding the mindset of people with Afro hair on an emotional level which I feel isn’t taught anyway else. I learnt so much from just one day and will definitely be back for more.

Angela is a fantastic teacher. She’s highly skilled, knowledgeable and manages to fit a lot of learning into two days.

Her teaching style lets you learn quickly and covers all the key topics such as history, language, products and techniques.

The workshop is a great interactive environment where you have models for both days so you really get the hands on practice that is needed with guidance all the way.

Angela’s style and technique to teaching is outstanding. From educating us on correct and appropriate terminology, to understanding history and products, and using real life models with different curl patterns, we really got stuck in. The two day course was excellent and I feel so much more confident with Afro hair care and maintenance now.

Both my friend and I had a personalised vintage hair and makeup session with Angela. Following her instruction we prepared our own hair which then transformed into a glamourous 40's hairstyle. She was very professional, warm, friendly. Is also one of the expert hair and makeup stylists at Goodwood vintage revival show. We loved our experience and would highly recommend you try a session or one of her many other workshops. Thanks again Angela!

An amazing comprehensive intensive course that i highly recommend. Angela, the tutor is a high skilled hair artist with an experience of more than 30 years. She is kind, patient and fun. She pays very good attention and will push your boundaries and make you grow and feel confident. She will teach you everything and anything, there s no answer that she doesn t have. The course is designed in such a way to learn from products, to techniques, language, history and even how to always work in a manner in which you take good care of your client and yourself as well, cause often time we forget about posture for example and we can get back, neck pain or so on. It is a fun, friendly almost like a little family feel and you work on actual models with different hair types and lengths and so on, not on dolly heads which i found really important. Absolutely loved the experience and i can say i feel a lot more confident and got so much knowledge and information that i hardly wait to get to work now. Do not miss it!! Best investment ever with with fun, smart, caring, kind people!!!

Angela is absolutely lovely, so welcoming, so knowledgeable and a brilliant teacher! I learned so much in her afro hair styling class!

We had to reschedule a few times due to Covid and other reasons and Angela was happy for us so that- unfortunately one of our friends couldn’t come at the last moment but Angela has kept her place and she can go another tome, which was very much appreciated.
The salon was lovely and we were the only people there, was lovely to have one on one

I attended the 2 hour makeup masterclass and came out knowing more about how to apply my makeup than watching endless YouTube tutorials will ever teach you!
Angela was very welcoming and friendly and made us feel comfortable in her studio, we didn't stop smiling the whole time we were there. She asked us about how we currently use makeup and if there was anything in particular we wanted to learn. The session followed a structured step-by-step routine where Angela coached us in applying our own makeup and added helpful tips and pointers to help us achieve a flawless finish.
I was so happy with the end result, my makeup looked beautifully professional and the best part was I had done it all myself!
The session has given me the knowledge of how to use makeup products, and the confidence to experiment and try new looks.
I would definitely recommend this masterclass to anyone, novice or habitual makeup user, if you want to learn how to achieve a professional look, and have a fun day out at the same time.
