Baton was a true partner in the sale of our company. Of course, we didn’t know what we didn’t know. With Baton’s guidance we were able to accelerate our understanding and decision making. Serena Lee was an invaluable advisor, particularly with sourcing prospects and keeping everyone focused and on task throughout the diligence and closing process. We had a very successful experience with Baton.

Don’t believe the reviews. Baton Market has been stalking me for years trying to charge me to sell my business to fake buyers. I have demanded they stop contacting me, but continue to spam. NEVER work with a company using illegal spamming tactics. File with FTC and Attorney General of New York so they are documented for fraud and deception.

Over the last year, we had some ups and downs with buyers coming in to look at and value our business. Once Baton and Reid got involved, things were streamlined and organized, with a clear approach of how to move forward. They paired us with potential buyer fits and eventually helped us navigate the sale. I can't thank Reid and the team enough. We highly recomend Baton and Reid for anyone looking to sell their business.

Transacting a Business is a Big Deal, no matter how small, it is likely one of your biggest life decisions. I could not have done it on my own, unless I was 100% certain that the person sitting across the desk from me was going to be less knowledgeable about the process than I....which is not worth the risk of flying solo. Having a Baton Advisor who has advised on deals before, and understood the ins and outs was priceless and I know I got the best deal possible because of having Baton on my side.

Incredibly helpful team. Serena was amazing at helping me navigate the full process. The portal and weekly meetings kept us organized and on track. I honestly don’t know how you could navigate this emotional and ever changing process without Baton. I highly recommend it from a sellers perspective.

Unprofessional & not trustworthy are the first two words that come to mind for my overall experience. Initially, I was impressed by the sales associate I worked with. As a business owner seeking a business valuation, she was attentive, knowledgeable and professional.

After the initial contact, she handed me off to another salesman. He was the opposite; I received his out of office auto-message more often than any good information. He basically collected my $500 per month, gave me tasks to do and left me feeling as if my company was never even available for buyers to view.

When I paused my service, he overlooked the request, billed me and wrote me stating, "No problem and apologies for the confusion. I've paused your listing and when you return, we'll prorate the next bill so you won't be charged."

I recognized I wouldn't be returning to Baton anytime soon with the current market so I requested a refund, here's his newest response, "… As a reminder and per our contract, retainers are non-refundable, as they cover the work completed on your behalf — preparing your listing and data room, conducting outreach, and engaging with potential buyers. Had a sale occurred, the retainer would have been credited back through the 6% success fee.”

This retainer was billed in error because he forgot to pause the service. This should not have been charged so “refunding a retainer” doesn’t fall in this category. Long story short, he/they fleeced me and my co.

This company was zero help to me and my business. They took more than $2,000 to do nothing. Save your money and time, look elsewhere for a company with integrity and concern, Baton Market is not it.

- You website has never worked.
- The counter for actions required is always wrong.
- There is no way to organize the list of interested parties and it's difficult to tell what follow up is actually required

I think your staff is amazing!! Wonderful team. I just don’t feel like I’m getting any interest and was hoping for more. When I signed, it seemed like it would be marketed very well and that they had over 400 matches to possible buyers. I’ve gotten 0. I did bring in one from a social media post I did.
Just think your company may have oversold the potential interest and not feeling like it is worth the value unfortunately

I sold my small business from start to finish in 4 months. I had tons of interest, and a great supportive rep at Baton who got it done. I am highly satisfied with my experience and highly, highly recommend selling with Baton.

Baton is continuously sending out spam e-mails that violate the FCC's CAN-SPAM Act. There is no opt out link or instructions on how to opt out, the e-mail does not identify itself as an ad, and it does not tell recipients where the business is located. The fact that Baton engages in marketing practices that violate CAN-SPAM is an indicator of how they do business and it's not a good one.

I worked with Baton to sell one of my businesses, and it was an incredible experience. They have a dedicated team that will work tirelessly to help you, and if you're as lucky as me, you'll have the opportunity to work with Fahad.

I can't recommend their platform enough, and I've already signed up to sell another business through Baton.
