Excellent from start to finish honestly a really professional. approachable, understanding company whom worked with me from start to finish, explaining any concerns or worries I had over my extension, all with fast concise responses to the highest level.

Chris, Ed and team are absolutely fantastic. Their communications are brilliant, their work is flawless from planning permission, plans to execution and they have been of huge help and reassurance over the extension project. They really are an expert one stop shop for all the paperwork and admin surrounding construction projects. We couldn't be happier to have them on side.

Beavertech (Chris and Ed) provided me with an exceptional service for a loft conversion, including architectural planning, structural drawings, liaising with Building Control, party wall agreement and connecting me with a professional building contractor. Communication was timely, transparent and detailed. Strongly recommended.

He gave us great information on how we could utilise the space available and listened to our ideas and gave us different scenarios according to our budget.

Both Chris and Ed are always available on the phone to assist and my current building project has had a few issues which Ed managed to come up with solutions for within 24hrs!

This was the first time I've used them, and they explained everything in detail, eg planning permission, completing 3D drawings and liasing with the local authority if there are any issues.

My decision to use Beaver Tech as my architect / structural engineer and sister company - Surrey Party Wall as my surveyor was based on a competitive quote and their knowledge of houses in the area my property was located – an Apostles style terraced house in South Wimbledon. Building works began in Sept 2022, on what was supposed to be a 10 week project to add a 4m rear extension and 3rd bedroom with en-suite in the loft space. Building work seemed good at first, but after a few months had passed, it came to be every homeowners nightmare. Inadequate steel supports in the foundations, missing support beams in loft floors, missing supports for roof steels, omitted supporting columns on the rear of the house, totally inadequate and leaking roof, incorrect tiles used on the rear extension causing an influx of rainwater everywhere, incorrect and missing insulation…..the list was almost endless. This, plus damage to neighbour's houses are just some of the problems encountered. It was, to quote Beaver Tech, “one of the worst building projects they had ever seen”. Thanks goodness for Chris and his father Ed at Beaver Tech / Party Wall Surveyors. By looking at photos I had taken, discussing issues and site visits, they identified every incorrect or missing structural detail and immediately informed me and the building company what had happened and what MUST be done to rectify the issues. They would make themselves available at weekends to inspect the works at the property and liaised with Building Control to ensure they didn’t signoff anything that wasn't visible or already plastered over or covered in flooring. If it was, they insisted it be exposed for inspection. Chris even gave me advise on speaking with the construction company in regards to their unjust demand for extra cash for the remediation works. This advice saved me thousands in extra costs. They also spoke with my very irate neighbours and assured them all would be resolved as soon as possible with minimum disruption. Although the remediation works took an extra 4 months, my house is now complete and structurally sound, as per the architectural designs and building regulations. I cannot thank Chris and Ed enough for ensuring this happened.
For anyone looking for an architect and surveyor, I cannot recommend them enough. They went above and beyond what anyone would expect would be required for a building project.

We were left 'up the creek' by a builder we hired. Ed listened to our issues, contacted Croydon Building control to find out what was needed, he then drew up the plans that were approved by the council and went out of his way to support us by suggesting ways to best save our very badly built extension. Would highly recommend, very professional and helpful.

Ed was brilliant providing detailed drawings in accordance with Building regulations for relocating our manhole and assisting us with applying for Thames Water build over agreement. The whole process was so quick and painless compared to any other we had previously, so I would highly recommend them! He was very professional and patient to explain every detail we needed. Fantastic service from Chris and Ed on our rear kitchen extension. They were extremely knowledgable and helpful throughout the process. We were experiencing some awful delays with planning permission from the council which Chris worked tirelessly to sort out for us. Ed also very quickly provided some structural drawings that were needed urgently due to some unforeseen issues, so we able to avoid any further delays on site. Highly recommend!

I have been using Beaver Tech since 2007 and have great admiration for their professional services. From design to finish, Ed and Chris are there to advise and support you for your specific project. They are straightforward, tell you exactly what’s involved and stick to their very competitive costing. Depending on your own experience and budget they can tailor their services. They also take the strain and frustration out of the dealings with the council by creating and submitting all necessary drawings and documentation. Apart from that, Ed and Chris are just a bunch of fun guys, great to work with as a team and highly recommended.
