Mark was recommended to us by our mentor in property. From the start Mark was clear & professional. He explained our planning strategy and the possible exceptions we may get, he managed our expectations on timelines and kept us updated at every step of the planning application.

Throughout the entire process, Mark was always proactive with updates and answered any queries promptly. He handled all correspondence with the local council with professionalism, navigating potential issues with his years of expertise.

I will definitely be using him again in the future and would recommend his services as a planning consultant.

We had a number of issues in relation to the implementation of a permission for residential development obtained by a previous advisor, putting together a team to carry out initial construction works and obtaining a certificate of lawfulness from the local authority. Andrew was available to help when we needed it, was thoughtful and very experienced and always good humoured. We enjoyed working with him.

My dad sadly passed away a couple of years ago, leaving me a little money which I really wanted to invest wisely. I knew my dad would have seen the potential for building houses in our garden as he was a builder himself. However, I was so daunted by this process of applying for planning permission. I found Squires Planning on a Google search and saw Andrew's name. It felt like a sign from my dad. My dad's name was Andrew Squires. Andrew and James were exceptionally helpful throughout. They were honest and clear to communicate with. They organised the work so that I only paid for services as they became necessary rather than spending lots upfront before we knew if the project would be viable. Andrew has been quick to respond to all my questions throughout, taking the time to call me and explain. I wouldn't have been brave enough to do this without Squires planning and I'm so grateful to them for their work and on our success in obtaining planning permission.

We were fortunate to connect with Andrew at Squires. We had a complex legacy issue at our property that should have been handled years ago. The downside was huge but thanks to Andrew we were able to mitigate the damaged and finalise the paperwork with the council. My biggest regret was not seeking his professional expertise prior to construction. Highly recommend Squires, get their opinion from day 1 and prevent any unexpected surcharges

Squires planning assisted in secure some challenging and complicated planning for use during our residential development in Southwater. Worth Parish Council employed Squires Planning to assist with its Copthorne Neighbourhood Plan. Work on the Plan had stalled, and the Council was in need of professional advice. Andrew Metcalfe from Squires Planning stepped in and managed the process for us, and our Plan was finally made in September 2021. His advice was instrumental in the speedy resolution of our outstanding issues, and we would recommend him to any other Council either making or reviewing their Neighbourhood Plans.

Squires Planning have a very good understanding of planning needs and requirements. The team are very friendly and completely open. They have knowledge of numerous specialists from heritage to environmental and can give great insight into approaching an application. Our application was received very well and complemented at a recent parish meeting and we believe Squires Planning played a pivotal role in pulling the application together. Their fees are very reasonable and well worth the service and support they provide.
