We just had a weekend organised by Hugo cycling around County Down. Amazing guy; knows the roads like the back of his hand and so we never got lost. Plus he knows the best places to stop off for lunch and where to stay/eat and drink in the evenings.

Highly recommend.

Me and a collegue (both from the Netherlands) were in Belfast for a conference and planned a 3-day bike tour with Bed and Bike Northern Ireland while over. Through their website we got in contact with Hugo, the owner. He really went over and beyond to deliver us an amazing experience! The online and on site communication and service were excellent, as well were the bikes. Great routes and highlights a long the way. Nice small hotels in great places, equally good food in locally runned restaurants.

We initially sought Hugo’s advice for a 3 day tour from Larne to Derry We booked our own accommodation and Hugo provided the bikes and transportation to Larne and from Derry to the airport. Communication was great throughout, he was prompt and good company. I would haigt recommend him.

Very well organised cycling holiday. Hugo met us every morning with detailed instructions of our route and to move bags on to our next stop. The rides each day were between 20 and 30 miles on mostly flat quiet roads. Drivers in Ireland are very courteous.
Hotels good quality and nothing too much trouble for Hugo to sort out.
Good value and to be recommended.

We had a wonderful holiday cycling round Strangford Lough. Hugo met us off the ferry and continued to take care of the whole trip. Having our luggage transported and our route planned made the cycling a pleasure, and the perfect weather helped! We were pleased to have 3 days in belfast at the end to explore. I don’t think we have ever been as well looked after on a holiday.

I had a great long weekend in Northern Ireland where I hired a bike from Hugo at Bed and Bike Northern Ireland. It was my first time in the country and Hugo helped me plan my route with some local knowledge which was extremely helpful. He met me at my start point and arranged pick up for me and the bike at the end of my route back to Belfast. Friendly and effective service, I highly recommend him! (if interested my ~100mile route went from Belfast up the coast road round to the Giants Causeway with an inland detour to the Dark Hedges on the second day.)

We are very glad we chose Bed & Bike for our cycling holiday in Northern Ireland. Hugo was very helpful when we wanted to adapt the itinerary to add Lisburn in so we could cycle back into Belfast along the Lagan Towpath. He also overcame the difficulties with booking accommodation & meals as we came out of covid. The bikes we hired were perfect for the tour. The route to & around Strangford Lough was perfect on mainly traffic free cycleways & quiet roads. It was also easy to adapt the routes to take in attractions or add extra miles. Hugo's morning briefings helped here with some great suggestions. All the accommodation was excellent and geared up for cyclists & with secure bike storage. A special mention to the landlady at the Dufferin Coaching Inn who was waiting for us with towels when we got caught in torrential rain at the end of the ride & then dried our gear overnight. The real bonus was Hugo's restaurant choices, clearly he has undertaken extensive research! We had several very good meals & a couple of outstanding ones over the course of the trip. We were glad we added an extra couple of nights in Belfast to get to the Titanic Museum & Giants Causeway along with two more excellent evening meals. A well organised & thoroughly enjoyable trip. We would always recommend Hugo's Bed & Bike.

I had friends staying from England recently and wanted to do something a bit different with them. I’d heard about Hugo and Bed & Bike and thought it would be a good opportunity to show our friends the beauty of Strangford. Hugo organised a great route through some amazing scenery, with plenty of much needed breaks, and a lovely lunch at Daft Eddie’s on Skettrick Island. It was a perfect day, even the sun came out for us. I would highly recommend.

We enjoyed our week cycling in Northern Ireland very much. We liked that everything was booked including dinner each evening. The Bed and Breakfast accommodation was careful selected and to a high standard as were our evening meals. The cycling was on quiet roads in a beautiful part of Northern Ireland, undulating and just right for a relaxing holiday. Thank you, Hugo!

We really enjoyed our cycling holiday and found it was an excellent way to explore more of Northern Ireland. We spent five days cycling around Strangford Lough and were very well looked after throughout the week. Our favourite day of cycling was probably Day 2, cycling from KillyLeagh to Strangford but every day was enjoyable and interesting. The accommodation was very good and the food was excellent throughout. We will have no hesitation in recommending Bed and Bike Northern Ireland to any of our friends who are considering cycling in the area.

Please book a holiday with Bed and Bike NI - you will love it and Hugo is a great host. The NI countryside is stunning and cycling available for all abilities.

Super long weekend cycling around Northern Ireland with B&BNI. Easy to book; well looked after from the minute we arrived to the minute we left; personal service from the owner; great accommodation and superb rental bikes. We will be back.
