This company is awful. I booked a birthday party through them. We were hugely overcharged. They are a booking agency with no connection to the venues, just charge a huge fee to book you in, nothing else. Once they’ve taken your money they couldn’t care less anymore. When I spoke to them to discuss being grossly overcharged (after I found out they didn't own the site that we attended) I was told by them ‘Well it’s buyer beware’. Avoid Bedlam like the plague and book direct with the paintball center involved.

A total rip-off company. Fraudsters and liars. Don’t book with them. Any company associated with them would do well to cut ties as they are giving you a bad name.

Totally disgusted with these clowns ! I paid (over the odds) for a party of 8, advised the date, they took the money and invoiced me for the wrong date. "Roman, why on earth would I get my sons 15th birth date wrong !"
No refund, chased and chased, but not worth my effort anymore.
Went to Camouflage Paintball Bournemouth instead, a different experience altogether.

Terrible company. Harassed me from the moment I enquired. Just kept messaging and messaging me. The organisation on the actually day itself wasn’t much better. Pressured to buy more paint balls, badly organised and there was some lacklustre health and safety..

SCAM - This company is the king of unfair trade and deception. They charge way over double the price direct (£18 direct and £40 Bedlam) with the cheek to charge a £15 booking fee too. The site we went to was even disgusted at the rate they charge. Sat on hold for a lot of time with no answer still.

Bedlam or Skirmish are absolute fraudsters. You pay in good faith for the umlimited package and somehow you are given the economic package for a minimum of £100 less than the price paid. Unless they resolve how they communicate between the "agent" and the "provider" and ensure that you get what you pay for as the consumer, do not go near these fraudsters. it is a shame as it is fun but somebody is making a buck somehwere ad you will end up out of pocket.

I've played paintball before and this isn't real paintball, it's kid's 50 cal guns they use. Yet they still charge you more than any other site.
The paintball don't even work either, they explode inside your hopper and you're left to purchase more paint at astronomical prices (500 for £45). Plus they charge £1.50 for little chocolate bars and £2.50 for little bottles of juice.
Given that the company is ran by convicted fraudsters its not surprising. (just Google bedlam fraud)

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

I spoke to a very rude and unprofessional advisor on the phone who told me that the venue I was booking was available for my dates. As he was so rude I decided to book on line.

I booked for 4 teenagers for my sons birthday party, paid the full amount, received a very basic confirmation email and even called to confirm, all good!

On Monday the day before my booking I hadn’t received anymore info and became a little confused. I called back to check and was passed about and left on hold for over 45 minutes after which I was abruptly told “yer we’ve cancelled the session as not enough people booked on,you’ll get your money back” phone hung up!

I called back, was passed about again and finally got another rude member of staff who said the same thing, no apologies for the fact that 5 teenage boys were expecting to paintball in less that 24 hours and I hadn’t even been told it wasn’t going ahead.

After 7 days the money was refunded, only to be taken out again within hours.

I called them back and was told that they store card details on file!!!! And for some research unknown to them the system had created an order and rebooked using my previous details and it would take another week to refund.

When told to remove my details from there file I was told they didn’t know how to do that, there are no managers or accounts staff and I should just wait to see what happens?!?

Absolutely disgusting company and staff!!! They clearly are not regulated and don’t even follow basic GDPR. Avoid at all cost!

If I could, I would’ve given 0 stars. We booked paintball for partners birthday but our son was extremely unwell. We tried phoning and was on hold for almost an hour. When someone finally answered they sounded intoxicated and basically told us no refund would be given ‘even if you were to die’.

Absolutely disgusting customer service! The guy on the phone was rude and arrogant and in no way tried to assist in resolving the matter.
Will definitely not recommend this place EVER!!

You may have been reading other reviews saying that they booked up and found out they got ripped off because they used the booking agent.
Guess what the same guy who owns the booking agency also owns the paintball sites.
Now that dishonesty is out the way.
If you type into google "bedlam paintball credit card fraud" you will find the ultimate reason to avoid dealings with this company.

This is truly the worst company imaginable; they should be called out on a TV programme like Rogue Traders.
We were charged £39 each by Bedlam to visit our local site with 300 paintballs (per person) plus a £15 booking fee.
Our local site (Big Dunk’s in Newquay) charges £26 with 300 paintballs (per person)
Bedlam Paintball organisational skills are…well they’re absolute bedlam..
We arrived at our local site for our birthday event to find out we had been given the wrong start time and the venue had no record of our booking. Luckily Big Dunk’s Paintball (Newquay) did everything he could to let our group join in with the session, even though it was nearly over. A huge thank you to Big Dunk’s Paintball for rescuing our birthday party.
Bedlam Paintball customer care is.. well it’s complete bedlam.
It took me a month of calling and emailing to get somebody to call me back. Finally we got an offer of compensation from their Edinburgh office as a goodwill gesture ! (£10 per person refunded).
I asked for the booking fee to be refunded too.. he didn’t like my request, so he just completely ignored me…forever…no £10 refund.... nothing !

I urge you, never have anything to do with this bunch of crooks.

Just found out this is a booking service.... Appalled!!! They "check" your availability, go through all the payment process, just to tell you you don't have a confirmation, but ONLY after you have paid!

Later edit: I have changed my review, because indeed my money was refunded, and the person who dealt with it was pretty decent. I was still without a birthday present for my little brother and had to come out with something last minute, but at least my expenses were back to me.
For the management: As suggested over the phone, please let people know from the start you are a Booking (third party service) and not the actual direct contact. Let people know before they pay, that they don't have a booking and they need to book with customer service Monday to Friday-and you won't get these reviews and struggle.

Really terrible company, definitely avoid at all costs. They are just a booking company and refused to take any responsibility for the activity itself. Our group were unable to do the paintballing we had booked as the venue ran out of gas for the guns on the day. It then took me over a month and 6 phone calls to Bedlam before they finally issued me a refund. Honestly an absolute joke of a company and the worst customer service I've ever experienced

Truly awful company. Do not use them under any circumstances. If you can go directly to the Paintball site itself. They are just a booking company, who charge twice the price! Spend over 20 minutes on hold to speak with someone. They even have the cheek to charge a booking fee.

Terrible company.
1. I was on the phone to them for about 40 minutes getting further up the queue not realising that it was a premium number. This call cost me £40
2.They booked the wrong place. Thank you very much to the company who agreed to let us play with them - and tries to sort it out with Bedlam.
3. They actually cost far more than just booking direct.
If you look up a paintball centre and get through to Bedlam. Put the phone down and look up a different number doe the centre. I could take the mistake but I am furious about the phone bill.

Terrible company! I had absolutely no idea how much this company rips you off! I paid £37 for a group booking of 8 children. I was then charged £25 for each child after. £16 booking fee and then when I had to rearrange due to covid, was then charged an additional £25! I called Splatkidz where the party is going ahead and the lovely lady on the phone told me that if I had gone to her direct I would have only been charged £200 for 12 children, no booking fee and certainly no fee to rearrange due to covid. My advice is definitely do not book through Bedlam Paintballing and go direct to the company where the party will be held such as Splatkidz unless you want to spend hundreds of extra pounds for no reason!

Racists. Never in my life have I witnessed such hate. We overheard the marshal racially abusing a member of our party to another marshal which they then laughed about between games

Booked for a stag do, on a specific date.
Rang to confirm the date a few days prior - to be told they are fully booked on that date and had to relocate to a different paintball firm. First Invoice was corrected as they knew they made the mistake, to then the correct date. Going forward I had to relocate my party to skirmish redditch, where the Marshalls and setup was spot on 5*. But as for bedlam paintballing agency customer service and satisfaction wasn’t met, or a compromise for my party for relocating on any offer of reduction in paintballs or freebies as we had to travel further out of our home town. When we booked our home town well in advance to attend with ease.
Won’t be using bedlam again, shall go direct to skirmish 👍🏼

Had the wrong date booked for Stag Doo and forced us to change to alternative further afield venue - poor customer IMO.
Marshalls (at Alcester) were; professional and created an enjoyable experience 👍.
Booking Agency = 1*
Marshalls = 5*

This company didn’t respond to safety feedback and emails which should have been taken seriously. I would not recommend this especially for younger kids 12-14yrs. Poor customer service.
