Scammers. Same problem as numerous other reviews. Deceived into thinking paying 0.95 cents for converting one page document, only to find out have unwittingly been subscribed and payment of $56.14 taken. When approached for refund seems to be AI response saying read our Refund policy.

Someone needs to shut this website down. They are a complete scam. Wish I had read the reviews before.

Get you paying a one off 95p charge for the pdf, which doesn’t seem too bad. No where does it say you are signing up to a subscription. 7 days later I am being charged £39.95 for nothing. Customer service is pathetic, obviously AI, so no look with refund. Now going through the bank to try and resolve.

Fraud and scammers, took money from my account with out notice. charged me £39 for a month , the product is not even worth £39 a year subscription. Then on request for refund offered 2 years subscription. Not sure how these guys are able to operate so easily with such fraud.

Mi experiencia con TheBestPDF ha sido muy negativa. Sinceramente, como consumidor me he sentido engañado.

Accedí al servicio pensando que estaba pagando un uso puntual o una prueba de 7 días por 0,95 € para descargar un archivo PDF. Además, la prueba que realicé no funcionó correctamente y no obtuve un resultado satisfactorio del servicio.

El precio visualmente destacado en la pantalla era 0,95 €. Sin embargo, posteriormente se me cargaron 39,95 € por una supuesta suscripción o renovación automática.

Es cierto que la mención al cargo posterior de 39,95 € aparece en la pantalla, pero en texto pequeño junto a una casilla, mientras que el mensaje principal y el precio destacado inducen a pensar que se trata de un acceso puntual y barato para obtener un archivo ya preparado. En mi opinión, este diseño es engañoso y puede llevar fácilmente a aceptar por impulso una suscripción que realmente no se desea contratar.

Contacté varias veces con atención al cliente solicitando el reembolso. La respuesta fue siempre parecida: política de no devolución, confirmación de cancelación de la suscripción y ofertas alternativas, como acceso gratuito durante dos años. Pero no me devolvieron los 39,95 €.

Solo utilicé el servicio una vez, esa prueba no funcionó de forma satisfactoria y no quería ninguna suscripción. En mi opinión, este tipo de práctica se parece mucho a una trampa comercial: se destaca un precio mínimo y el coste real aparece en letra pequeña.

No recomiendo este servicio. Antes de introducir la tarjeta, recomiendo leer con extremo cuidado toda la letra pequeña.

I used this site to convert a couple of files and paid the advertised 95p for 7‑day access. What I didn’t realise was that this automatically enrolled me into a £39.95 monthly subscription, which was not made clear at checkout or on the email after purchase.

The 95p charge didn’t even process properly — it sat pending for a week before going through, which already felt unusual. Then a £39.95 charge appeared the next day without any warning. The timing and processing were inconsistent, and the email they sent even showed a different card number than the one actually charged.

I cancelled immediately and contacted the company, but they refused a refund. The use Ai which just replies with the same nonsense that their refund policy basically overrides the law. They are meant to be based in Cyprus, but who knows. My bank is now handling the dispute.

Not transparent, not clear, and not trustworthy. Do not use.

Please review from their linked Trust Pilot on their website if you have had the same experience, it absolutely gives a false representation of how they operate.

Molti utenti, compreso lo scrivente, segnalano un addebito iniziale irrisorio circa 0,95€ per la conversione di un file in PDF, seguito da un abbonamento automatico non richiesto di circa 39,90€ al mese, spesso difficili da cancellare.

Deceptive is the only word to describe BestPDF!

Not only did they charge 39.95, thier 7 day trial was 3 days. What is worse is I didnt see it was a trial. .95, I thought was a ine and done.

I'm so sick of lowlife bottom feeding companies who's main product is deception.

What a fool I am to not check this before using the website!

Lesson learnt after being robbed two lots of £39.95 by them unknowingly!!

They will try decades of time to charge your credit card for 40$ without using their service stay away don’t give them your cc info

Use this company at your peril. I tried them on a one off basis knowing that I would be charged a trial period cost of £0.95. I didn’t sign up for anything else. I cancelled any subscription straight away. I received an email from them saying that my subscription was cancelled and no money would be taken out. That was dated the 15th of the month yet on the 21st they took out £39.95. After many emails they still have not returned the money. I just keep getting a generic reply saying their refund policy doesn’t cover this. Absolute scam artists

This site is a total scam. When you are charged $.95 and then you try and cancel because you don’t want the 3995 you can’t reach anybody. They don’t answer the phone and there’s no way to contact through email. It is a scam and they charge you every single month 3995. They just hit my bank account again. I disputed the first charge. I disputed this charge. There’s no way to contact them to to cancel it. It’s a scam absolute scam. Don’t even go to this site. We need to report them.

Te ofrecen un servicio rápido por el que en principio ponen que es gratuito y finalmente te cobran algo menos de 1 € pero además el archivo no se ha traducido. Y lo peor es que en una semana te cobran una suscripción de 39,95€ y al reclamar dicen que no emiten reembolsos. Hay que tener cuidado porque sin darte cuenta te suscribes automáticamente. Una verguenza

Nothing more then a scam company, you think your paying 1.49 for one time and then they charge you 39.99 and your tied to subscription. I have been mailing with them all week ho and forth. They didnt eant to gove us a refund and send us there redund policy. Eu citizens have the right for full refund and theybthey tell us we are not from eu. Damn scamcompany.
