I had to stop doing the chair yoga program because of my shoulders hurting from all the arm exercises. This simple program was easy for me to commit to doing every night, but unfortunately I was too enthusiastic and hurt my shoulders. Loved the immediate results, but too much pain that would not subside.
The impact of these workouts was quick and impressive. But I have never hurt so much for so long after doing anything. I would love to continue, but I can't wake up every morning in pain. I'm sure I needed to warm up and cool down more effectively, but the exercises seemed so easy I thought I was doing enough to prepare. The most persistent pain is to my outer thighs, which I'm sure is from being seated.
