Fantastic service. Friendly communications and catered for some last minute changes to return date. All round a brilliant experience and would definitely use again.

Did what we needed, but a couple of areas where there was room for improvement:

- we booked two boxes, but when my partner went to pick up from shop, they only had one. She had to wait while they got another from the depot (she was supposed to be working)
- the velcro on the straps in one of the boxes was no longer effective. On opening the box, saddles and pedal had worked free and moved around, which potentially could have caused damage (we had to pack differently on our return)

Painless, efficient service with competitive pricing. Bike boxes are in great condition and local collection hub is spectacularly helpful, as was Kirsty when making the booking. All good.

Reasonable price for hire, good quality Bikebox which kept my bike safe - even on EasyJet - but the main reason I’ve given 5 stars is the superb customer service I received. Communication was very god at all times and the staff could not do enough for me. I’d highly recommend BikeBoxOnline and I will be using them again.

Easy to book. Easy to locate the collection point. Unless you have tried it before you must expect some uncertainty about the sizes of your equipment. In my case a Whyte T129 XL the 29" wheels and 2.3" tyres do not fit easily. Deflating the tyres so the wheels can fit at all then taking care to ensure disk rotors don't touch etc. In transit the catches and closure of the box worked well.

Found out we had won a last minute cycling holiday.

We needed to hire two bikeboxes with short notice. Googled bikebox hire and found the link.
Spoke to Kirsty on the phone who was a great help. Kirsty sorted out a courier to make sure we had the boxes at the pickup location in plenty of time.

We we able to collect the boxes from a cycle shop close by which made life easier.

Really happy with the service and we plan to use them again.

Excellent service and the bike box was perfect for my needs. I had the utmost confidence that my expensive carbon bike would reach its destination in the same amount of pieces as I had packed it (it did and returned too!). It was good that there were Velcro straps to secure my wheels as they are the through axle disc types so have no QR to secure to the box. I had noticed other well known brand boxes that did not have this and one chap had to use cable ties to the foam divider!
The only thing I would criticise is the video that explains how to pack your bike into the box. It tells you to let the air out of your tyres 'to please the airlines'. Not a good idea if you have tubeless tyres! Another chap had followed the video instructions to the letter and had let all the air out of his tubeless tyres completely, very messy!

I’ve hired from bikebox online (York hub) for the past few years and have always had great service from Kirsty. Would highly recommend.

The box had seen better days, one of the wheels kept jamming up and it kept pulling to one side whilst pulling it along. Also the velco ty ups were also well used and some of them wouldn’t stick. The delivery and pick up service were very good and the price for the box was very reasonable.

Great service from Richie in Plymouth. Box works as advertised, wheels well through airports and fits in a medium size car.
All in all did exactly what I needed.

Love the Velo Box from BikeBoxOnline. The added quality of the closures and the centre pole make this box a delight to use, and is of better quality than the competitors.

Great box, which was pretty sturdy and secure, giving me the confidence that my bike would arrive in one piece despite what the baggage handlers may try and do to it! I found that there was plenty of space inside the box too for things like my bike shoes, helmet, wetsuit and a lot of my other triathlon gear, however just be careful that you don't fill it up with too much equipment as the weight creeps up and this may give you a problem with airlines weight limits!!

Heather was really great throughout the order and delivery process. Nothing was too much trouble and I would use them again for sure!
