The process of getting a loan for my business was super easy. The AI assistant was very cool too and gave me some helpful insights on the options on the market and how my business profile fits each one (It’s crazy how fast AI tech is moving). Would definitely recommend.

I had the pleasure of working with Binq, and I couldn’t be more impressed with how quickly and efficiently they arranged funding for me. From the moment I reached out, they were proactive, transparent, and kept me in the loop every step of the way. I applied for a business loan through Binq and completed the full application process, including providing access to my business bank account via open banking (Consent.Online).

After completing everything, I received two loan offers for significantly less than the amount I originally applied for, each with different interest rates and repayment terms. When I queried this, I was told that lenders will simply offer the maximum amount they are willing to provide, which in my case was much lower than the requested amount.

However, the messaging in the offer included wording such as “Get the full amount you applied for”, which is confusing when the approved amount is substantially lower. The wording could definitely be clearer.

The application process also requires downloading their app and communicating through an AI chatbot interface. In my experience the interface was quite clunky and at one point the banking connection simply redirected to a blank page.

In terms of costs, the offer included a **2% broker fee payable on acceptance**, plus a **withdrawal fee of between 5% and 10% added to the loan balance**, along with monthly interest charges. These fees may be typical for some forms of unsecured business lending, but they were not immediately obvious when starting the application.

Overall the process technically works, but the messaging around loan amounts and the presentation of fees could be clearer to avoid confusion for applicants.
