My mother asked for a flight to Vancouver Canada they gave her a price and she paid for it, turns out they’ve booked her a flight to Toronto canada and the manager is trying to tell my dad that Vancouver is in Toronto!!!!!!!

Exploited a vulnerable customer (my mother) she paid for tickets to Canada and then they took a further £232 for the visa which only cost £20.84 for the US visa and the Canada visa. The company are terrible and scam people! I will update this with further information as this progresses. We are waiting for a manager to call back. Avoid this company they are disgusting!!!

Edit: the email that Jay sent asked my mother to email back with “all ok and I authorise” she didn’t send this she sent Yes and then another email followed with I will check my own prices because I didn’t know it would cost this much. This email was sent at 10.19am and then another sent at 10.41am the visas were processed at 10.49am so jay chose to ignore my mums emails and still processed the payment on her card.

A manager is still not returning calls and neither are they taking them. I challenged Jay and as soon as he couldn’t answer my questions he said he will not speak with me because it’s not my booking. He didn’t have a problem before only when I questioned his £185 + £10 for the Canadian ETA and £197 + £10 for the US ESTA. I asked where he had got these prices from and he said the “system”

I will go the end with this company and ensure that they never do this to anyone ever again and never exploit anyone. Please do not use this company. The reviews on here are not from genuine customers.

Sam was excellent at finding us replacement flights after our flights were cancelled at short notice. We struggled to find anything that would accommodate our family, but Bird Travel managed to find us flights. Great and helpful service.

This is my second time booking with Bird Travel. Ethan is the perfect travel agent. He was able to find myself and a friend the flights we wanted with if the budget we had. He was quick within his search and was even able to find alternatives if needed. I can say that I would happily book with him again. Thanks once again Ethan

Looking at the 5 star review. I made my booking. It was more expensive with Bird Travel but an important short trip. As soon as I made the booking I felt uneasy. I has extremely brief email of confomation, also the same was sent in a WhatsApp message with a message saying they would check me in, I had nothing to worry about they take all the stress, and would send boarding ticket's 24hrs before flight
.I asked the question what if your off ill. 24 hours before my outward flight no contact from Bird Travel. I had ro message and email. Boarding pass arrived. When due for return flight. No reply from email.or WhatsApp.NOTHING. I showed my confirmation email at the airport, I was told I could check in on line. But I could not as my email address had not been given to the airline so I could not check it and incuring an aditional charge. Once i had landed i got a WhatsApp message from Bird Travel saying hope you had a safe journey, sorry I was ill. Is this company just 1 person in there bedroom playing at selling tickets. I will NEVER USE THEM AGAIN

I used Bird/Iptimus website flight ticket site yesterday and have been well impressed and pleased. I had started by checking on the airline site but could not find any flights that suited, nor on another site but picked up this site from Google. Victor took my call and from the outset was “up for it”.Ge stuck with me and was always knowledgable, polite and friendly. So tenacious was he that he found direct routes in both directions that had never been displayed on the other websites. This was so useful as I am not young and changing flights at big airports can be stressful. Huge thanks to Victor and Bird/Optimus Travel. I shall definitely consult then for my future travel needs.

We had our fight with Ryanair changed to the day before without letting us know so had to find alternative fight found your company on Google after hours of searching and a lovely gentleman called Victor managed to get us a flight last minute his professionalism and politeness ws really appreciated and so helpful a credit to your company thank him so much from Tracy and nichola xx

Victor has been a great help. He booked our tickets for Lourdes and really went out of his way to ensure that we had a smooth break. He even helped with our check in both on arrival and departure. His been very patient with us. We have booked our honeymoon with him so I hope we get the same experience. I will write another post on how it went. So far we have had a pleasant experience and victor has been outstanding.

The telephone call was better great, speaking to you for the first time wasn't easy , at least you respond with a good telephone manner, i don't really have a computer to make easier for my self, everything i did on my phone wasn't straight forward, the help you gave me was good, it was quiet long and difficult to go through, all i want now is my ticket , i'm not confident with your provided, booking every on line is not easy, but i have to get use to it, the hotel look beautiful , i need to check out the airport first and see it, your help was very important to me and you was polite is good we have a long conversation about travel, this is my first time to booked a tickets on line. i think the price is expensive but i will manage it, i think is a good company, i've never try something like this before, i just dont want to have problem by getting on the plane, thank you for everything you have done for me, i dont want have problem with services,

Sam was so helpful and patient with me. He found me the flights that I wanted at a reasonable price and was not push trying to sell extras

I purchased two tickets to Rome from Bird Travel on March 4 2023. Their representative (Ethan) sent what he claimed were the boarding passes. They weren’t - they were a confirmation notice of the purchase. We turned up at Stansted Airport and Ryan Air rejected the document Bird Travel had issued us. We were required to pay an additional £110 to Ryan Air direct for them to issue the Boarding Passes at the airport. We were in fact fortunate as we secured the last seats. Bird Travel refuse to reimburse us the additional costs. Cannot recommend Bird Travel - consumers are far better off buying the tickets directly from the airline.
