I hate this site i got banned a while ago for no reason and the owners of the site are assholes. stay away from this shithole at all costs. + db leak happened in 2024 so i would stay away

had an account since Oct 2024, got verified in the bittoco discord server. Then later on got banned from that server for making a bad joke (bad as in unfunny not dark or anything) then now wanted to make a new account for other purposes (account name: hawaiipartii) but can't get verified or talk to anyone bc they removed any discord links from the whole website.

So I created my account and got verified via the Discord Server. Was excited to make my first video, even had a script written ready, then I got banned from the Discord server without any notice, and swiftly after that, the website. I also saw the other reviews and completely agree. The site seems sus and it feels to me like an abuser ring disguising as a 2005-2006 YouTube clone. Pretty scummy and I expect answers and no, PR responses won't cut it.

This website is nothing more than a Disneyland full of monsters, who'll insult you in every step of the way. I made this account to just write my review, and unleash my frustration. Support does NOT exist on this website, and admins are protecting abusers. I joined from a promotional video of a famous YouTuber and I thought: Oh, what a nice community - let's join, do some videos. Everything was alright until I decided to share my opinion about BitView servers - they were slow due to that YouTuber's promotion so I proposed in the comment under a famous BitView creator that if that's the case and if everything's going well - they should upgrade the server to accept more traffic with less lags. Then, some wiseguy Irish a*hole and some his Canadian d*rider came into comments, insulting me from b*tches and saying that this b*ch should pay for their servers if he wants upgrade. I felt insulted and to be honest I never said anything wrong - just suggested that they should upgrade. I e-mailed the administration and even messaged them on the website, explained what's going on and to at least warn them or ban them from commenting and turns out they never responded because they cover up for them. That irish guy has like 100+ subscribers and does some strange f*king stuff, laughing at people dy*ng (has a video remix of Luigi Manignione the healthcare CEO killer remixed with CEO face replaced with Tragger, a famous creator) and he has delulu on the highest levels with his Canadian friend who responds couple of seconds after him (strange isn't it). It's either him under a multi-account or some his derranged friend. For context I sent my friend there to write a "bully" comment on his account implying that he's a bully and couple of minutes pass by it got removed. But abusers comments weren't removed? What the f is that administration? Stay away from this website, full of degenerates. Only minority of cool people are there, that honestly should be way better off on YouTube.

Yesterday, I got suspended for absolutely no reason at all. All I know is that I've uploaded a video and commented on somebody's channel, then out of nowhere I get suspended. And you know what's the saddest part? they don't even tell you were suspended, nor why. Not even contact you through your gmail. They just do it with no previous notice. Poof. Ridiculous.

For a website that's trying to emulate the early days of youtube, they're doing a mediocre attempt at it. There are only unreasonable suspensions, harrasment, favoritism (because they do not mess with users that have more than 75 subscribers) and poor customer support.

If they REALLY want to emulate/imitate youtube from the early 2000's, they need to cut the bullshit. Because it ain't funny, it's just stupid and comes as corny. Get your shit together, people.

On my days of me using BitView back in late 2020.... surprise, surprise. I was harrassed and oppressed by some users who don't have good manners and don't even know in the slightest how to make someone feel welcome. Dailymotion and VidLii weren't any better.

Toxic, extremely biased, disgustingly misleading, you name it. BitView, this excuse of an alternative video website, will never be better than the melting pot known as YouTube. Never has been, never is, never will be. You must avoid BitView at all costs. Why, you may ask? Three simple reasons.
First, this excuse of a video website takes every breath with heavily biased moderation. These hyenas of moderators enjoy playing favorites. The "moderators" (vistafan12, Kazuya, and Griffen [especially the latter]) always love protecting their favorite users no matter how much those users enjoy tormenting and bullying others. The only time these "moderators" ban people is when they get attacked themselves. They also ban people who disagree with their far-left ideology. That's right, boys and girls! This "Quality YouTube Competitor" is just another disgusting far-left website.
Second, the "community guidelines" are a complete joke. They only apply to the normal, everyday person and nobody else but the normal, everyday person. Look at this situation. A user who has been on BitView for a year is close friends with the "moderators", enjoying making fun of others' content, bullying and threatening them in the process. Another user, who just joined a week ago, has their channel targeted by that first user, bullying them, calling them names. The second user tries to report this, all the way to the point of making a Discord account to join the BitView server, only for that ban request to be rejected by Griffen. Instead of the first user getting banned, that second user is either dealt with a warning or a complete ban. Did I also mention that this far-left US-based website violates the First Amendment, freedom of speech? Not to mention they violate many laws regarding privacy. Tracking IP addresses, collecting personal data from ads, etc. Clearly all illegal stuff going on.
Third, like 90% of every website, this website runs on ads! The ads are so aggressive (up to eight banner ads on every page!) that you're forced to download an ad blocker. We all know how annoying, inconvenient these ants are, so I'm ending the paragraph here.
In summary, you will regret joining BitView. If you want to take the risk and prove it all wrong, go ahead. You'll end up just like me.

Esperé un sitio con mejores normas justas en cuanto a la respuesta a la mediocridad hipócrita de Youtube, en youtube permiten canciones ultra vulgares porque así les pagan los que la publican, pero los canales pequeños no pueden darse el mismo lujo. Lo que recibí fue una moderación IGUAL o PEOR que el propio sitio del que estaba alejándome; moderadores imparciales que dan el beneficio de la duda, inclinando la balanza a determinado grupo de personas elitistas en la plataforma: ¿Qué tienes razón de explicar tu problema con determinado usuario destacado del sitio? Nunca te la van a contar (favoritismo hacia personas de élite en el sitio). No solo prohíben vídeos que en el propio YouTube ya existen, ya sea porque consideran pertinente "banear a los trolls" (Dios, qué infantil) que resubieron en un contexto distinto (como trollear a la comunidad) esos vídeos o porque así se les canta. Ejemplo de ellos hay por montones, como cuando banearon al usuario IntelXK del sitio por subir 2 memes todos bobos de Ronnie McNutt (fácil puedes encontrarlos en YouTube) EN EL DISCORD del sitio. (No existe ninguna regla la cual dictamine que se pueda efectuar un baneo por una acción realizada en el discord por un usuario el cual se correlacione al sitio). O también como cuando banearon a un troll que se hacía pasar por Dalas Review que resubió el vídeo de Stardeos de dalas insultando a los que lo criticaron en twitter (titulado "mensaje para la comunidad de bitview") que fue baneado sin explicación ni aviso previo (cabe mencionar que tienen sistema de strikes, pero claro, hay "excepciones"). También cuando un usuario subió vídeos de una motoquera texana que andaba en YouTube, lo borraron.
Este sitio tampoco puede ofrecer confianza o seguridad por parte del Staff del mismo, debido a que en el caso de IntelXK, este se hizo una cuenta de nombre "XKLoquendo", pues algún Staff a cargo de los permisos del sitio decidieron vandalizar su perfil poniendo "IntelXK" en todos los campos de texto como el About Me o intereses, etc. Y sacando su foto de perfil que llevaba puesto. O también, como olvidar cuando al usuario Fran, por decir que es militante nacional justicialista (una ideología argentina), lo banearon, según JR (un moderador) que mandó el BANEO porque "era nazi"... "Confusión" realizada a drede para justificar el baneo hacia el usuario que porque si, le caía mal. Dando no solo a entender del sitio que tiene moderadores imparciales, corruptos, abusadores de su poder, pues también que banean por tener ramas distintas de pensamiento. (Si no piensas como ellos te echan del sitio). Debo aclarar que la moderación del sitio no cuenta con bots que analizan automáticamente el contenido para determinar infracciones, TODO ES MANUAL. Eso dando mucho que desear al sitio. Aunque no nos dejemos engañar por todo lo negativo, lo bueno de este sitio o lo mínimamente rescatable y destacable, es su diseño muy similar al antiguo youtube el cual muchos amamos recordar, eso si se les amerita un aplauso.

Así que acá un sumario:

PUNTOS MALOS:
-Pésima moderación elitista, selectiva y mediocre
-Banean por vídeos que en youtube aparecen, siendo youtube considerado una DICTADURA.
-Moderación que se dedica a vandalizar y a banear a todo aquel que no piensa como ellos

PUNTOS BUENOS:
-Diseño del sitio bastante bueno y memorable.

La plataforma se ve interesante, sin embargo la moderación es muy elitista y sólo tienen preferencia de respuesta por ciertos usuarios así mismo los moderadores del sitio no son lo suficientemente neutrales cuando se trata de juzgar usuarios.

Esta muy buena la pagina.
Que yo sepa, desde mi punto de vista apenas le encontre problemas.
A veces puede llegar a ser un poco aburrida, pero es mejor que muchas paginas.

Great web app that looks and feels like old YouTube. A tight knit community with a rating system that can warn you about bad content. Only thing they could do better would be adding title filters

Bitview is full of trolls, immature teenagers, users behave badly. not a good place to make friends or uploading any video because you will barely get any views. the only good thing about Bitview was its 2005-2006 layout.

Qué vergüenza que no hayan demandado a esta empresa se llevaron todo mi dinero, pero gracias a la empresa a mi imagen, pude recuperar todo de nuevo y estaba muy feliz. También puede acudir a la empresa en busca de ayuda.

Es lo mismo que vidlii con los mismos usuarios loquenderos de ahi mismo, pero con menos usuarios toxicos y flaites, es mas casi no hay, esta muy bien moderado por los moderadores de esta pagina
