This website is nothing but disgusting, it's filled with drama, racism, trolls, harassment, insults, slurs, homophobia/transphobia, etc.

I joined this site back in 2018 when i was 13 years old, i had a normal life, watching videos and commenting on them, making new friends. It was a normal site and had a nice community with no problems back then. I used to think and thought that everyone on VidLii is nice but then i realized that some of them are toxic, i prefer talking to someone who doesn't act like them.

Back in 2019-2020, i was harassed a lot by the users who are toxic and disgusting people, all because of my past mistakes, low effort content and animations, claiming that they're "criticizing" me when they're just harassing and attacking me for fun, and forcing me to handle so-called criticism. Not everyone has to handle criticism, it's a difficult thing to handle. If they are actually criticizing me, they shouldn't harass me, and if they don't like me, they should have to block me and not interact with me, and if they don't like the content i make, they shouldn't watch them. I've been trying my best to improve and handle criticism but they were cyberbullying me non-stop and didn't let me to. Now the drama got more worse than i thought, although it's already over.

My life was ruined, and my reputation was destroyed (it went too far), i got treated like sh*t. These types of people didn't let me to do what i want, i was tired of them attacking me for more than 5 years. What about my actions? these things are from 7 years, i've now changed and apologized for what i did in the past, as it was pretty immature, i shouldn't have done the things i did in the first place, i left VidLii for good in 2022. I also received death threats and dox threats, people calling me the n-word, slurs, insults, and they also sent me gore. And worse, they created a fake account about me on YouTube and uploaded a video with a MAP flag, and they said some disgusting things, WHICH IS TOO FAR AND NOT FUNNY. If they're gonna be trolling someone, they shouldn't be joking about serious allegations like pedophilia. I don't recommend anyone to use this disgusting website and not all YouTube clones are any better.

It's genuinely heartbreaking to see what VidLii has become. In 2023-2024 it was full of gore and illegal stuff but the new owner has removed all of them but there's still things like racism and drama, it's also filled with some nasty trolls who support serious allegations. It doesn't matter if VidLii has improved, all the damage has already been done, it's not the same as it was in 2017-2019. I do not care if this site gets shut down in the future, it should be gone forever and never return at all. I wish i never joined this platform in the first place, i lost some of my friends because of this garbage community. They could have learned to show some respect and not target anyone online. Never use VidLii at all.

USO VIDLII para re subes videos de youtube que son interesantes o le gustan y verlo sin publicidad de youtube o guardarlo para emergencia

Whenever I try to sign up for my VidLii account, sometimes, I was automatically signed in into a Vietnamese gambling company's channel. What in the actual heck is this website? Why the heck would this scummy website actually redirect new users into that channel?

Honestly to be fair, I have nothing to do with gambling and/or casino.

The first video that appeared had the nword thrice in its title.

Me uni a esta pagina hace unos dias, escuche que banearon el contenido gore hace un tiempo y bueno, hasta ahora no me tope con nada de contenido de ese estilo.
ahora parece una pagina decente para archivar contenido sin temor a que te borren los comentarios o te cierren la cuenta.
Lo malo es que aún hay pseudo-intelectuales edgys que joden, por literalmente existir, pero ya no es problema de la pagina.

There are some people on vidlii that called black people n word and vidlii don't care about stopping racism because they loved racism! Censorship seems to be a thing now. So much for "free speech". They seem to censor active shooter edits. Various channels have been deleted despite the fact there was no gore shown.

The new owner of Vidlii is a Marxist-Leninist wannabe and sympathizer of censorship to the point there isn't freedom of speech anymore. Now it has gotten to the point where criticism even gives you a ban, no matter how much you try to practice your first amendment rights. Sorry to say but even though stuff like gore is gone for now, it's become a leftist haven for degenerates to plague the website.

The website is so good. I like the videos there and I even have my own account too only problem is that the servers suck ass please improve them i haven't been able to enter in a week. Otherwise recommend 100%

It's garbage! This site is pure garbage fostering hate and racism for YOUNG people! Its a watering hole for maladapted mentally deranged people that worship school shooters, and I hope the new ownership is held liable for the many counts of copyright infringement and child porn that occur because moderation is not a priority.
Disgusting crew of people. I don't how this website is in existence. It's NOT okay and it's NOT legal so why is it still around after all this time? Over five years of experience feeding lowlifes the garbage they need to fuel them and somebody dares to take over that throne? Ha. One day, you'll have to live with the consequences.

The site was created in 2015 and later that it was bought by some random guy and they removed all the moderation about gore and it's now full of gore videos, neo-nazi kids etc.
Not so surprising fact: An 18 year old guy in Turkey attempted a mass stabbing and injured 5-7 people. Guess what. He has an account here

As the other reviews have pointed out, the site is a cesspit of unmoderated garbage. Gore is one thing, but my curiosity led me to heaps of videos glazing neo-Nazism and mass murderers. There is possibly some CSA material there which really warrants some investigation by law enforcement...

I heard about VidLii at the time Vidme was shutting down (late 2017/2018) - I was a huge fan of Vidme and wanted to keep uploading my videos on YouTube alternatives because I felt like a very small fish in the huge YT ocean, but other alternatives already put me off because of the fairly big amounts of alt-right creators. And yeah, VidLii of course had these people, but the platform itself still seemed "fine" compared to other platforms. (Also I loved the old YouTube channel design and its many costumizations, huge plus for me.) So I joined it, uploaded some YouTube and Vidme reuploads. The few people I interacted with also seemed to be normal people. And well, then I forgot about VidLii.

Around six years later, I decided to do a digital cleanup and noticed that I still had my VidLii account. Initially I just wanted to delete it because of inactivity - a few clicks in and I'm greeted by a very "weird" video recommendations and a comment section with three users having swastikas on their profile pictures.
In this current situation I cannot recommend VidLii to anyone who just wants to upload their videos on a platform besides YouTube.

full of disgusting gore and sit. i thought gore was a joke/troll until i watched a vid and it turned out to be real gore. Im traumatized. It was REAL gore. A man was holding a heart. and kept cutting and cutting more into the dead person's body. the floor was full of... blood and there was another preson too. I JUST CANT EXPLAIN IT I HAVE NO WORDS HONESTLY

I absolutely hate this website right now... All there videos on there is just gore and porn. When I used it in 2018, it was really good. but now it's garbage.

a mí me encanta la plataforma de vidlii sin embargo reconozco perfectamente que fue arruinada por su moderación y por toda la cantidad de gente que sube gore ahí, lo de los nazis y los comunistas la verdad que ni me molesta eso se ha visto en muchos otros lugares. aún así vidlii es el último Rincón que nos queda a todos los que no queremos volver a YouTube y los han expulsado de bitview, no nos queda de otra que barcarnos lo que nos tenemos que bancar. y aún así se sigue ganando el mérito de ser una gran comunidad y no ser cómo bitview qué tarde o más que temprano quedará como wevidi sola y desierta. en cambio vidlii podría llegar a tener un resurgimiento Y poder volver a hacer aquella página que fue en 2019 hasta 2022.
