Blackacre made my engagement ring and later my wedding band, and I couldn’t be happier with both. Sam worked closely with my now-husband when designing my engagement ring and made sure from the outset that it would work beautifully with a future wedding band, ensuring the two would fit perfectly together and sit neatly side by side - not something my other half would have thought of requesting!

I was so happy with the engagement ring that I naturally went back to Sam for my wedding band, which we also had engraved to make it feel even more personal and special. The attention to detail throughout has been fantastic, and it’s clear that Sam really cares about getting everything just right.

Sam was also incredibly helpful after making the engagement ring, which was a big part of why I chose to go back to him for the wedding band. My fingers change quite a lot depending on the temperature, which made getting the right size particularly tricky, and he has resized my engagement ring a few times to make sure it fits comfortably. Just before our wedding, he also cleaned and serviced the ring for me, so it was looking brand new and sparkling for the big day.

I think we’ve finally landed on the right size now, but it’s reassuring to know that if anything changes, Sam wouldn’t hesitate to help. He’s been brilliant throughout the whole process, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Blackacre to anyone looking for a jeweller who is talented, attentive and genuinely cares about their customers and their jewellery.

Could not recommend the Blackacre team enough. Minnie was wonderful throughout and made the whole process, particularly design and diamond selection, completely stress-free. Felt like I was in excellent hands the entire time and cannot thank the team enough for creating the most special ring my fiancée and I could have hoped for!

Henrietta and Laura went above and beyond to guide me through the whole process, educated me on the sourcing and design of our Bespoke engagement ring and constantly kept me in the loop. They were patient through design changes and accommodated a special day out with our parents when choosing the final design, including using our own heirloom diamond. My husband very kindly gave me a diamond ring for my birthday. The experience of choosing the style of ring to receiving the ring could not have been easier or more professional. We met with Henrietta and Laura who talked us through the styles, what would suit my finger and work with my wedding and engagement rings. All the way through the making process, Henrietta gave us regular updates and sent photographs of the various stages. The whole journey was a wonderful experience and I cannot recommend Blackacre more highly.

Working with Blackacre to design our bespoke engagement ring was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Minnie and Henrietta were warm, welcoming, and incredibly patient throughout the entire process. They made us feel genuinely special at every stage, and their knowledge and guidance helped us understand each step with confidence.

What stood out most was how well they kept us informed throughout the journey. We always knew what stage the ring had reached, which made us feel truly involved in its creation. That level of communication made the experience feel even more personal and meaningful.

Most importantly, Blackacre perfectly captured the design we had envisioned and brought it to life beautifully. They truly understood our style, and when we finally saw the finished ring, we were blown away. Even though we had seen sketches and CAD designs along the way, the final piece far exceeded our expectations.

The ring is completely unique, and the craftsmanship is outstanding. We are absolutely in love with it, and our friends and family are just as obsessed. We could not recommend Blackacre more highly. 

I have never bought a bespoke ring before I visited Blackacre.
I was greeted warmly by the boss himself, Sam and two of his assistants, Laura and Henrietta. We talked about the firm and then having asked me what I wanted I was left with Laura and Henrietta, a trained gemologist and the other training to be one. I was there to buy an eternity ring. The girls showed me various examples I had no idea there were so many. Having chosen the style we got down to details, the size of diamonds which best suited my finger and engagement ring. After much deliberation I was encouraged to buy the ring with smaller stones. This impressed me hugely because obviously the larger stones were more expensive. Blackacre also design other jewellery and I saw a most beautiful pair of diamond earrings. I left after two very happy hours.
I paid a deposit and during the next few weeks Henrietta kept me informed of the progress being made on my ring. I finally received it in a shiny black box. It is exactly what I wanted and is a constant reminder of the happy day I spent at Blackacre. An experience I thoroughly recommend if you are in the market for rings or jewellery. I am one very satisfied customer.

My experience with Blackacre has been truly excellent from beginning to finish.

From the moment I first contacted them, to initial meeting and discussions about design concepts, to being kept in the loop throughout production and, of course, to collecting the beautiful finished ring, everything was enjoyable and perfectly orchestrated.

My now fiancé, Fiona, is delighted with her ring and we will treasure it.

I was looked after by Henrietta, who was absolutely superb throughout. Before I was advised to seek out Blackacre by a close friend I was feeling quite overwhelmed and disillusioned by the engagement ring market - it was a daunting new world and I hadn't felt very inspired by many of the other rings I had come across.

With Blackacre however, I instantly felt I was in the right place, as Henrietta made every effort to equip me with everything I needed to know, helping me to decide on specific design features of the ring. She was also very diligent at keeping me up to date throughout. Henrietta and the team at Blackacre easily met the deadline we had set in order to complete the ring, so that it was ready for my planned proposal.

The ring itself is truly stunning. The attention to detail is immaculate and the craftsmanship feels unrivalled compared to other rings I have come across. The education I received with regard to choosing the diamond/gemstones was really appreciated and I have left the experience feeling empowered.
