Total waste of time , only discovered they are unable to carry out driving lessons. I had to contact them no one bothered to tell me despite waiting months for a space.
Absolutely a disgrace don’t waste your time with excuses.

This is a reply to your comment – your attempt to justify a complete let down.

Firstly A negative review is what you write when someone like yourself tries to ignore their responsibilities and promises.
Secondly I was on the waiting list and you told me lessons will begin during the month of September. (This was made during June. If you wanted a deposit why didn’t you ask for one)?
I was not offered an option of a specific start date as you did not have one at the time.

You now say that automatic lessons are no longer available in the South Shore Area. This is only after I contacted you and despite automatic lessons still being advertised on your website.
Essentially what you are trying to say is completely untruthful.
Remember people will read this review, they will judge for themselves whether your driving school is the one for them – as there are plenty around (as you have stated they are free to choose).
I will end as I started; dealing with you has been A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME, shame on you.

I had Mike as an instructor he advised me on the the hours that I would need this was more than enough and was able to pass first time with his help and support.

I had such a great experience with Blackpool driving school, I passed first time with my brilliant instructor, Liz. She is a great instructor I learnt so much from her in such a short time!
I took a 30 hour course and felt super confident by the time my test came.

Well what can I say! Amazing experience with BDS for sure! A massive, massive thankyou to Simon Anson- for teaching me what I lacked with driving, for the guidance where it was needed, for the encouragement, support, the confidence and hope you gave to me everyday and for dealing with the tears and anxiety along the way😂

Thank you to Donna and Mike I passed me my driving test very easily and quickly! It was a very positive experience and I enjoyed every minute. He was very very helpful and supported me all the way through. I couldn’t recommend this place anymore if I tried! Amazing time

I recently passed my test after struggling and losing all confidence with manual Dave helped me get confidence again in the automatic and was very patient with me the whole way through. I passed my test first time and couldn’t have done it without Dave. Donna was also a huge help with making sure I got a test quicker and ensuring I got another one soon when mine was cancelled. Huge thank you to bds and especially Dave and Donna!! Couldn’t recommend them enough.

Recently I passed my driving test and finished my driving lessons with Shane and would like to say that he is absolutely professional, patient and ensures to fine tune areas of weakness in your driving. I would say Im lucky to of had him as my driving instructor and very great full for transforming me into a confident and safe driver. Not only that he made the experience of learning enjoyable. Thank you Shane and Donna at BDS.

Wonderful instructor - very calm and explains everything very nicely and clearly

Dave was really good in ensuring I was test ready. He was patient and made clear instructions. Donna also for organising test dates. Got 0 faults on my first test with thanks to the BDS team. I passed today after completing the 25 hour fast pass driving course with Liz my instructor. It was my 3rd test, after a year of driving lessons with a different driving school and a years break. I started out with little confidence but Liz believed in me from the start. I felt instantly at ease with Liz and had learnt so much within even the first hour, thanks to her wealth of knowledge and experience. She taught and communicated to me in a way that helped me remember the things I needed to improve on, which I really valued. My confidence quickly grew and I felt prepared for my test. I still had test day nerves but Liz calmed me down and reassured me every step of the way. I can’t thank Liz and BDS enough. Thank you!

Mike was an absolute star! Every weakness we found in my driving, he highlighted gently and with a great deal of empathy. Thanks to Mike's excellent teaching I passed my test first time. If you listen to a BDS instructor and give them your all you will pass, FACT.

BDS were great for fitting me in with last minute courses and tests. Very efficient and helpful the whole way along and quick to respond to any messages. I was lucky to get a cancellation for an intensive course and a test date booked in a week before, which was amazing!

I took lessons with Liz, who created a calm and relaxed space and taught me how to drive properly, not just how to pass the test. She is honest and friendly and I am very grateful for her patience with me, especially at the beginning as it took me some time to get the hang of it of the basics. Highly recommended and couldn't thank her and Donna at BDS for helping me achieve the freedom that driving brings.

Mike Joannou has been a fantastic instructor, taught me driving skills for life and very patient. I couldn’t and wouldn’t recommend anyone enough in Blackpool than himself. A really nice car and always clean and tidy. His professionalism is great and he definitely knows his stuff.

Definitely took my time getting there but with great help from my instructor Ian we finally got the pass I wanted.
Blackpool driving school have a very firm but fair approach to teaching and always want the best outcome for their students.
They handle pretty much all the paper work in sorting out test times and availability.
Very fair and competitive prices too.
