Absolutely amazing customer service. Matthew and Emily were an absolute pleasure to deal with as were the gentleman that took our old Aga away and fitted its electric replacement. Nothing was too much trouble - can’t recommend enough.

I m so happy with the experience of converting our 50 year old oil fired AGA to run on electricity and I can't recommend Blake and Bull and their team enough. Truly exceptional service.

A most impressive experience, from first phone call to delivery. Our visit to Blake and Bull was a pleasure, Emily, Sue and Matthew were most friendly and helpful. We would love to have bought a big Everhot cooker but settled for the small heater with an oven which was what we were looking for. Thank you.

I am writing in praise of Blake & Bull and Joe the engineer who came to our home to convert our gas Aga to the E-control electric system.
He must have had a 2 hour journey to get to us but still managed to arrive at 8.30 and after introducing himself started work on the Aga. He worked solidly all day; not even stopping for lunch, so by 4pm the Aga was gleaming and warming up nicely and the kitchen was spotless. I even found him outside on the terrace vacuuming up a few specks of vermiculite that had fallen from the bags of old insulation he was taking away. He explained the controls and checked we were happy before driving away for what must have been another 2 hour journey, making a 12 hour working day for him. He was polite and cheerful and obviously took a pride in his work.
I am so pleased I found Blake & Bull. Thank you for making the whole Aga conversion process as painless as possible.

My fully refurbished and renamelled electric Aga has just arrived in the United States! Carefully packaged and shipped across the Atlantic by Blake and Bull Company, I can’t wait to share pictures of it installed in my kitchen! The customer service by Matthew Bates and his team (here’s looking at you: Katy, Jacqui, Chris, Emily) at Blake and Bull has been outstanding and all my concerns and questions were answered promptly and in detail. If you are in the U.S. and considering ownership of one of these storied and magnificent cooking stoves, I highly recommend the Blake and Bull company in the UK.

I enjoyed visiting the beautifully arranged Blake & Bull showroom at Hartley Farm. My lovely sage green Everhot stove heater was swiftly delivered, unwrapped and placed in my stone fireplace for me. I plugged it in and it is instantly warming up my stone cottage sitting room. This was the coldest room in the cottage but this autumn and winter it will be my cosiest sitting room and I’ll be warming mince pies in it for my annual Christmas drinks party.

B&B were very communicative and helpful throughout our transition from gas to electricity, and on the big day the two fitters were fast, efficient, friendly and left everything clean and ready to go. It will take some getting used to but we had the AGA hot again in time to bake bread the same evening. We are using the wifi power switch to turn power on an hour before we get up with the hob set to Eco so it is ready to heat up for toast, and then turn the ovens on to Eco (180 C) before we leave for work. Once they are up to heat they draw very little power and can get up to a usable power quickly in the evening. Wish we had done this ages ago.

I've always been impressed by the quality of items I'd purchased from Blake & Bull and never encountered any issues with delivery until today.
On Wednesday 14th August I placed an order for 3 items for my wife's birthday tomorrow the 17th August, items for the AGA, I paid £8.95 for quick delivery and was told by DPD it would be delivered today by Ian, at 13:09 the DPD driver (Ian) parked at the rear of my property for 35 seconds and didn't get out from the vehicle, when parked up for 35 seconds he used that time to send me a text message telling me that we're sorry our driver missed you, unfortunately for Ian he didn't bank on me having cctv all around my property which also picked out his registration (YG73PXD) he then drove off sending me another message telling me it was now getting delivered on Monday the 19th, obviously this is too late so I cancelled my order with Blake & Bull.
I was left to explain to my wife she had no birthday present tomorrow.
I spoke with a polite lady at Blake & Bull who explained that delivery is out of their control, I disagree with that statement as some responsibility has to be accepted as I didn't choose that courier. I had no contact numbers or email not even a depot to contact, I was told today by another driver that this driver might be self employed and don't care.
I will never understand why this driver did this as he was literally 30 metres from my property.

Very happy with the conversion done yesterday by Ross and Paul. They turned up on time, were polite and efficient and really good to deal with. The Aga looks great after a deep clean.

The Aga was removed today, Jesse and Lewis were brilliant, very efficient, tidy and most of all friendly.

Really pleased with the job, you wouldn’t know they had been here apart from the gap in the kitchen!!!

The team from Blake & Bull were amazing. Booking our re-enamelling was super easy and the chaps who worked on site were fantastic. Our (at least) 45 year old aga now looks brand new!

We are delighted with our rejuvenated Aga and feeling very relieved to be living with a proper reliable Aga after years of problems with the 13amp version. We've got some new routines to get used to but things are looking good!

Just great customer service! We had our Aga refurbished in September 2023 and Blake and Bull were a joy to work with. Everything happened on time like clockwork. The engineer called a few days before to check everything was ready and arrive on time and delivered a great service. I recently had a wobbly lid issue, and Chris took are of it, diverting an engineer to resolve. First Class.

Complete failure to deliver on a promise. Company offered to remove my Aga for free as it was a model they wanted, and gave no timescale for when the Aga would need to be removed. When I contacted them several months later to organise the removal, they procrastinated in responding, eventually emailing to renege on their promise. The dual issues were that when making their initial promise they had apparently failed to check my postcode, and, by the time I contacted them, they no longer needed my model of Aga. I have no doubt the company will respond to this review with a series of inadequate excuses, cheerily delivered, as that is apparently how they choose to address major failings in this part of their customer service offering.

What fantastic customer service. You have a great team there who really go above and beyond with continued support - even though our conversion was three years ago now. Thank you.

Where to start? Blake and Bull have thoroughly impressed us, from our first visit to the showroom and thorough information from Matthew, to the date of conversion when Bradley showed up, having been in touch to liaise arrival etc - what a lovely kind polite young man, a real credit to the company; his attention to detail, methodical and professional workmanship and never once rushing anything really gave us confidence that the job done was 110%. The shine and finish from the refurb looked amazing, and the clear up was spotless. Now to adjust to using our "new" Aga, quite exciting really! Alex and Mandy

Thank you Blake and Bull your oven technicians Joel and David did a fantastic job of converting our 28 year old gas’s Aga to electric with the E Control system. They were friendly very professional and tidy workers the Aga looks like new with a good clean and shiney new chrome lids we have already noticed the weekly cost of running the Aga reduce as controlling it as required is so much easier.

If you are considering converting your oil-fired Aga to electric, look no further than Blake & Bull. They are excellent in every way - great to deal with, clear and straight-forward, installation smooth and efficient, and now 2 months on from the installation all working really well. Instead of an oil-fired Aga relentlessly burning oil 24/7 all year and overheating the kitchen in the summer, we now have total control of all 4 ovens and the 2 hobs and it is being powered by a mixture of free solar PV from my roof and cheap low carbon electricity from the grid thanks to Octopus and my intelligent British-built Powervault battery storage. I just wish had found Blake & Bull earlier!

The team also went above and beyond to send me a part that I needed on a Friday afternoon. It arrived on Saturday morning and I was able to complete the job.
Truly wonderful customer service that is sadly rare these days.

Brilliant company - beautifully made cooking accessories and excellent customer services. I ordered oven gloves and tea towels - lovely patterns and such high quality materials. Delighted and will be back to buy more soon!
