BlueTabla is a family-run home décor brand that revived Georgia’s blue tablecloth, a tradition dating back to the 17th century. Once common in Georgian homes, it disappeared during the Soviet period. Following the revival of the blue tablecloth, BlueTabla has developed modern table textiles drawing on Georgia’s visual heritage - from traditional ornamental motifs to the distinctive forms of the Georgian alphabet. A traditional Georgian saying - “the guest is from God”- reflects Georgia’s culture of hospitality and the central role of the table in bringing people together. This spirit continues to inform the brand’s aesthetic: bold, graphic patterns designed to feel expressive and joyful. Today, BlueTabla is widely recognised across Georgia and is steadily bringing the warmth and character of the Georgian table to the international audience.

Beautiful but synthetic

This was an impulse buy and whilst the pattern on the fabric is beautiful the quality of the material is very synthetic, shiny even and not what I was expecting. It will be fine for a serving table but isn’t the normal quality of linen I would buy for a dining table. Deliver etc all great.
