My son booked thru Bluwaytramsport to have a 2008 Chevy Avalanche shipped from Zeeland michigan to Ironwood michigan, 350 total with 150 deposit upfront with a promise of picking it up in 2 days, 4 days max, never did, I called 3 days later only to be promised it would be picked up by Monday at the latest, never happened, called back on Monday to ask for the deposit refund only to have them tell me they secured a driver to pick it up next day ! But wanted more money (BAIT n SWITCH) now refusing to refund..... I have a lawyer in California that will be handling this if they refuse to refund, I'd rather lose more money on a lawyer than to be taken advantage of by BLUWAYTRANSPORT....

Blueway auto transport gave us a quote to transport our vehicle from the east coast to the west. They called the day the vehicle was supposed to be picked up and promised it would be picked up the following day. The next day they called and said the cost would be twice as much as they initially quoted us. We booked this well in advance and they waited until the day after the pickup was supposed to happen to double the price.

Wish I would’ve seen the other reviews first! DONT TRUST THEM!! Whoever Veronica is, very unprofessional no help! I have case that’s been open for over a week and 2 vehicles that was quoted for pickup. Still waiting so I decided to find someone to help me drive one vehicle and pick up the other to drive back. I keep getting calls from all these companies after my car was posted online by someone with this company and they’re refusing to refund me, take my car off the website so I can stop receiving all these calls and messages. Then accused me trying to go with another company to pick up my car which is why I’m trying to cancel which isn’t true. I’m 3 hours away from getting my own car and would like the car taken down and my case closed out as complete. Refusing to give back my deposit for BOTH cars. DONT TRUST THEM!! Has to be a scam!! Will be going to the courts!

This company here scammed me out of 150.00 demanded me to pay reservation fee and then up the price. Never got the full information about my vehicle and didn’t do anything but answer the phone and lie about what they service was

I hired them to pickup my car from NY to IN. They quoted me $500. After the quote I said, "Just to confirm, are there any hidden charges or additional charges that will be acquired that I'm not aware of?"

Their reply, "No hidden charges or additional charges."

After I agreed, signed the contract, after a day or two, they were ready to pickup my call. Then I got the call. They are going to increase the pickup and drop off to $800.

They tried the bait and switch with me. I fired them and got a refund for their fraudulent service. Disappointing experience.

😡Bait and switch. I Don’t recommend this company! They scammed me and costed me over $600 in flights just for my car to sit an additional week without pickup. Vanessa Brown told me it would cost me $550 to transport my car, waited until day of then changed the price to $1500.

They emailed me repeatedly, then when I said I got a better price, they were mad and said to wait till they bait and switch. Which is ironic cause that’s what they’re accused of…

I booked for $800 and paid a $250 deposit. On the day of pickup, there was no driver and he moved the pickup to the following day. On the next day, still no driver so I requested a refund. He said I can have a driver but you would have to pay $1650 for him. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!! Classic bait and switch company!

Predatory Bait-and-Switch Company — Do Not Trust!

Avoid Bluway Auto Transport at all costs. I booked them to ship my Tesla to the Chicago area for a locked-in contract price of $600 and paid a $250 deposit.

On the exact morning they were supposed to pick up my car, they called me to extort more money, claiming the driver was "too in demand" and that the price was now doubled to $1,200. To make matters worse, I had already left the state the day before, so they intentionally waited until I was completely vulnerable and away from my old home to pull this scam.

When I told them absolutely not and demanded my money back, they texted me: "Refund is not possible at this stage." Once I threatened to report them to the FMCSA and BBB, they started behaving like scammers—wildly haggling and dropping their mandatory price from $1,200 down to $950, then $800, and then $750 trying to trap me into keeping the order.

had to go through the headache of filing a fraud dispute with my bank just to get my $250 deposit back. They are brokers who lock you into a cheap price, hold your deposit hostage, and try to price-gouge you on moving day when you have no other options. Absolutely disgraceful business practices.

!! SCAM !! Please trust your intuition and never do business with these guys. I would bet they are not located in California, and are likely not even a real company. I was scammed $400 from them for deposits on two vehicles they promised to ship across the country the next day. They quoted me a price, and said they would be picked up the next day. I needed to pay a deposit of $200 per vehicle, and the rest in cash upon delivery directly to the driver. I paid the $400, and sure enough the next day the drivers truck broke down. They recycle the same pictures of a broken down truck and likely sent it to me, and 10 other customers that day. Was told it would be picked up the next business day, and if it wasn't, my $400 would be refunded no questions asked. Next business day comes and you guessed it ... no update or pick up. Upon calling them to get my refund, I was told it is no longer possible. They since then have informed me that the price has tripled to get these vehicles shipped. I found a real company to ship the vehicles no problem. PLEASE learn from my $400 loss mistake and never do business with these scam artists - they will over promise and communicate effectively before your deposit is paid, but after that, they no longer care about you.

Typical bait and switch. We have the best price, access to the best drivers, we can easily move all three vehicles for your business. Just pay the deposit and the quote is guaranteed. But that isn't what happened. They quoted us a price and we paid the deposit then they told us the driver needed 30% more or he wouldn't pick up the vehicles from the dealership. And oh by the way if you cancel now that we have assigned a driver you have to pay the full requested price. They were so quick to call and respond till they got our deposit, then it was crickets. I wish I would have seen the Trust Pilot reviews before selecting this company. The driver who picked up the cars was in no way connected to the Broker and his part of the service was incredible. Ironically if they had bid the price in advance we would have been happy with it. But to get one price and get approval from our bosses to do it then poof another price. Quotes mean nothing. Customer Service means nothing.
