Seller does not submit insurance claims when appropriate

10oz silver coin reported by USPS as “delivered”. I provided seller a USPS signed and stamped letterhead letter saying USPS tracking was incorrectly logged in and, since insurance was purchased, sender/seller should initiate an insurance claim. Seller REFUSED to do this. Clearly seller got my $980 and there was no incentive for them to submit a claim. I had to turn this over to USPS and federal investigators but not expecting anything there either.

Disappointed with payment options

I've purchased silver bullion with several other online platforms and every one offered an e-check option whereas you require a paper check for 1st time purchasers. This is inconvenient, but required to avoid the approx $90 in fees to use a credit card. I'm struggling to understand how a paper check is more secure, but maybe consider accepting a photo of the front and back of the check and/or an ID instead.

Order cancelled, trust lost.

I have placed orders with you in the past and had great experiences. I placed an order this time, and supposedly the price was listed in error, so my order was cancelled. Had the price been listed in error in a way that benefited your company I doubt the order would have been cancelled. Regardless, if the price was listed incorrectly or not you should honor the purchase I made. I am planning on sharing this experience with a coin collecting group with over 250 members, so they will also think twice before ordering with you in the future.

Together we will solve this issue

Much better than the last order. Lately I have had shipping issues, and as I research these issues I'm finding that it's not necessarily created by BPM, but mainly with USPS. I understand that once USPS receives the package by it either picked up by USPS or delivered to the USPS center by Bold it is no longer Bolds responsibility.
With USPS Advantage shipping, tracking begins with and customer is notified that the shipping label is created. That is where the tracking ends with my last four shipments and no tracking is done for the next 3 to 5 days. When USPS receives the package, no acceptance scan is made. After numerous tracking calls made to USPS with no logical explanation giving, I finally decided to take a couple of the packages after I received them to my local USPS facility to try and get some answers. It seems the only logical explanation is that the box is to small for the complete shipping label to be placed on box without folding it over on to another side and therefore the the scanner is not scanning the whole lable.

I placed a new order yesterday, then called customer service and requested that when the order is ready to be shipped, that it is shipped in a little larger box that the shipping label is placed completely on one side and not folded over. Hopefully that will let the scanner get a complete scan and fix this issue.
I'm sure I'm not the only customer that has experienced this issue, and it has always been my nature that when there is a issue or problem with something, I do whatever I can to resolve it, not just for me but all parties involved. No process is perfect, everything needs periodic maintenance for better performance.
I truly appreciate all that has been done by the Bold customer service team to help with this issue, and I honestly have to say that the Bold customer service team is probably the best people in customer service I've ever dealt with.

Great pieces and super quick receiving…

Great pieces and super quick receiving it! Had some issues with payment at first as it wanted to verify my identity and wouldn't work so told me to call my bank, however this was 2 am and needed them ordered right away. Figured out a secondary way to Make it go through though so everything worked out perfect! And can't beat the price at all!! I'll take good price for little bit longer of a wait any day but super quick on shipping it.

Unhappy customer! Bold Metals needs to get their order…

Bold Metals needs to get their order process ironed out so it actually works! I placed an online order for over $3000 and they cancelled my order although the money has been withdrawn from my credit card, and my available credit went down by the same amount. Now I need to hassle with my card company, who needs this headache. Meanwhile, the price of metals has gone up since yesterday and to repurchase the same items will cost $150 more. I often wonder if this is intentional, since silver shot up on Monday 2/23 from over the weekend. Repeat customer as well, but there are plenty of other reliable dealers out there, so I will not be ordering in the future. My impression is that couldn't give a hoot.

Fraudulent tax collection

I ordered both bullion and numismatic coins. Neither of those items is taxed in Ohio. They decided to tax me on the numismatic coins. I found a really good deal on their website and noticed the tax but the business was closed for a long weekend. I didn’t want to miss the deal, so I purchased the coins and then contacted them to get reimbursed for the tax. They ignored my emails, and the multiple calls didn’t get me anywhere. I would recommend avoiding this company and purchase from a company that values integrity. I will be submitting a tax fraud complaint to the Ohio department of taxation.

After I made the order, they tell me they don’t have it and can’t get it

After I had made my order for payment by wire transfer for some coins - and was trying to follow their laborious process for “identifying” me which required my providing them a Credit Card - they suddenly “cancelled” the order. They emailed me basically “sorry, we actually don’t have this on hand and can’t get it”. This is certainly a shady (or certainly untrustworthy) process to be offering items for sell and arranging for payment and only subsequently telling the customer that they don’t have it and can’t get it. I certainly won’t waste my time with them again.
