Stay far away
Stay far away. Avoid all costs.
The worst online bullion dealer out there. Does not support military at all. Cancelled my orders due to military shipping address when it's a selectable option. Don't trust these clowns. Lost money because of these fools. Use anyone instead, never a problem with them.
They finally tried to process a refund, but it went through as a sale!!! Now they have more of my money with no product delivered. These guys are absolute amateurs! Now I've been charged another $2500 with no product to be delivered. Now I've lost even more money because I had to quickly move money to that account at cost to cover the charge. I am out hundreds on this sale now because of their idiocy.
My second time with MM, pleased again
My second time with MM. No problems. I used the USPS to ship as they instructed. I would probably not do this again. It took nine days to get from TN to DM. Nonetheless, the website informs you of the likely transit time. Once in their possession, I was paid same day. Would do business again.
Just cant figure out their delivery issues
Another review, another downgrade of their service. I ran a little market test. I ordered the same exact item from Monument Metals, and two of the more well known competitors. One of the competitors has already delivered the product, the other has sent me the tracking information.....Monument Metals.........not shipped yet....response from their CS was it expects to ship next week. Same product, same payment method, same day.......they are just no longer a viable place to secure product in a timely manner. Hate to say it, as they have the best prices and a very nice selection.
Scammed by monument metals
This is truly unbelievable. I don't have time to go into everything that happened with my 2 orders with this company, but let me say after I received my product I was just relieved and finally thought it was at least over. Just today I opened a tube of silver eagles that they had taped shut because I was thinking about selling some of the coins locally. I counted them out and they only put 19 coins inside instead of 20. This was no mistake, I am certain they deliberately shorted me because of our previous communications. I cannot believe these guys are in business. Also from now on no matter who I order from I will immediately open and count the coins in any container. Truly mind blowing.
People are the Most Precious Asset: Customers Included!!!
I've been purchasing both bullion and numismatic specimens from Monument Metals, almost as long as they have been in business.
As points of reference, I have purchased from Apmex, JM Bullion, Bullion Exchanges, Bullion by Post, from ebay (many), Perth Mint, The Royal Mint, The Royal Canadian Mint, Monnaie de Paris, Tower Mint, The London Mint, Scottsdale Mint, Commonwealth, the US Mint, the Czech Mint, among others. TRUE.
What I can say is this; they all have pros and cons, and to be clear, there is NO perfection in anything in our Universe. Practice and refinements also do NOT make perfect, but does tend to make the process less imperfect. Further, just think about how many entities think good thoughts, speak and write (including advertising) similarly. However, how many of them actually translate such into what it is they actually do for their most important target destination (where they want to go and to be?)...sales to their customers. Here I am referring to whether such entities make it easy for the customer to get in touch for a myriad of reasons.
How many of those entities actually reach out, whether by email, text, or phone in order to determine if that customer has received what was purchased. Did the product match what they thought they were actually purchasing? Is the customer satisfied? Oh, and just think, an entity that values this end stage of the process; product delivery, must at some level also value that customer.
I will say that the most important and precious asset that is held by any entity, business, or enterprise is NOT their profit/loss analysis, NOT their inventory, NO NO NO; it's much easier than that; it's their people. PERIOD. Who? What? Yes, it's their people. And now the nuanced and surprising aspect of such.
People includes the CUSTOMER. In truth, they are part of the team, and the recipient of what it is that the entity does in the conduct of their business. Further, the customer is, in a very real sense, a 'free-field-worker', able to transmit crucial information back to the 'Mothership' of the enterprise, with implications that directly relate to what those in the know, know all too well...it's the very last step of the transaction that really matters most.
The delivery of what that entity claims to make, send, deliver, and stand behind its quality, composition, and value. Notwithstanding all of this opportunity to 'get it right', it has been my experience (again, it's extensive) that the overwhelming vast majority of these bullion and numismatic entities get it summarily wrong!!! In fact, the majority do NONE of what I have characterized as opportunities for 'BETTER'; for 'REFINEMENTS'; for truly delivering upon their promise of excellence, accountability, quality, and customer satisfaction.
It's mostly all smoke in the absence of 'fire', for such could just as easiy be dry ice, without any energy source whatsoever.
Now, having written this, I can say without any equivocation that there are in fact a small (very very small) set of entities to do exactly what I have suggested as initiatives on behalf of both...the customer and the enterprise. Specifics? Indeed. From the inception of my business with Monument Metals, they were not only spot on with respect to the principles I have emphasized, and such has NOT changed one iota over time, including my most recent orders for the very difficult to find; 2024 Great Britain 1/3 oz Gold King's Virtues (Victory; BU) from St. Helena.
If there is a better, or equal enterprise that values their customers commensurate with the way I have been treated, I'd love to know who they are, so I can add them to my preferred list.
OK, OK, this is a review on Monument Metals, but in the spirit of authenticity and my genuine desire to help the reader parse through a mine field of sellers...looking for any help identifying those who share a business kinship with the likes of Monument Metals; here goes; I'll offer up the following as worthy of such excellence identification:
1. Monument Metals
2. The Tower Mint of London
3. Scottsdale Mint
4. Stout (Amarillo)
5. SilverGoldBull
I thought long and hard upon this list, and simply cannot another. Above are those entities who recognize that their most precious asset is their people; including their customers. My opinion? You bet. But it's all based on actual experience with them; acts, actions, and deeds. NOT good thoughts, good speech, nor poetic writing. Only predicated upon what was actually done.
Want to know about the real intension of others? Listen less, read less, watch and verify behavior, for it represents the most important, impactful, and bona fide intension of others. What about us? Indeed. Same principle. Use it!!!

Poor customer service and communication
Ordered silver bullion from JM, SD, Hero and Monumental the same day, 1/30/26. The first 3 shipped within 3 business days. Monumental said should ship by 2/13. On 3/1/26, I sent them a message asking where the metal is at and conveniently, they "just received the shipment" and said I would receive tracking the next morning. 2 days later I send a reply letting them know that I didn't receive any tracking, just an advertising email. The chick tried to gaslight me with the standard "check your spam, it must be in your spam because we sent it at 7 am" line. Since this isn't my first week on the internet, I had obviously checked the spam before responding. I then did an email search and found that I had received 13 advertising emails from them during that time. None went to spam, but somehow, a legit email was probably in my spam account. I did finally receive the silver, but have zero confidence in them and wouldn't buy again. Besides, JM is almost always the best price and certainly has better service
Beaware. It's a mistake I tried Monument metals
It's been a month since I placed my order. They charged my account on time but never an update on shipment. When I call them, each time they just say that they will update the tracking info. Awful service. Buy from somewhere else. Not buying from them again.
made 2 substantial orders with thisâŠ
made 2 substantial orders with this company. paid immediately with wire transfer. both orders were supposed to have shipped by 10 days ago. neither order has shipped, nor have i received any updates. i called last week and was told I would have an email with tracking information the next day. that never happened. I tried calling again today, automated phone service makes some excuse about weather, as if that would affect phone lines, and then it eventually hangs up without going through to a person. I will never order from this company again, and might talk to my bank about reversing the bank wire.
Awful customer service (no service)
Awful customer service, i pre-ordered and chose fedex signature with the plan of holding at location and picking up after work as im not home when they deliver. Monument put restrictions on it so i cant do that and only they can change it Fedex said i was SOL, ive reached out to monument 4 times over the past two weeks and they will not even respond, i dont known if they will change it. I will have to take pto for this or im going to miss 4 delivery's and its getting sent back. They refuse to respond and help. I chose signature i should be able to hold at location. Like wtf. Annoying as hell. Also took forever to even ship it, even after the delays were no longer advertised on their site and they shipped after the preorder date. Shitty company will not be buying again
I placed an order for gold withâŠ
I placed an order for gold with Monument Metals on January 23rd and paid via e-Check. Nearly a month later, I am still waiting to receive my order.
What makes this especially frustrating is that I placed similar orders at the same time with SD Metals and Bullion.com, also paid by e-Check, and received both of those orders within 12 days.
This shows the delay is not due to payment method or market conditions, it's Monument Metalsâ shipping and fulfillment process, which is frankly ridiculous compared to their competitors.
Because of this experience, I will not be buying from Monument Metals again. There are too many other dealers that deliver promptly and communicate better.
Expected delivery date is 2/17/26! WOW!
Horrible experience as a first timeâŠ
Horrible experience as a first time silver buyer and first experience buying precious metals. They offered a first time buyer deal of five 1 oz silver rounds on spot price. I called my CC provider that I was going to make that purchase since it is my first time experiencing this. I placed my order since it seem like it was a good time to buy for me. Now that the the spot price went up they canceled my order and refunded my CC after it had already had been charged. Now they're giving me a time frame to send them cash. I tried calling customers service but no one answers no one calls back.
Sold to them recently
Sold to them recently, and have been very unhappy with the complete lack of communication and refusal to send payment. They have had my metals for almost a month, and have not paid out yet. Very concerned at this point that the company is insolvent. A Monument Metals employee told me I could choose an e-check, but this was later contradicted, and the next employee had "never heard of an echeck". They provided a tracking number for a paper check after 10 attempts to contact them, but the tracking number only shows "pending acceptance", hasn't moved in over a week, and my local USPS worker looked into it for me and said that it's likely they haven't even dropped it off (despite them claiming as much). They will not re-issue a check because it's "the fault of the USPS". I'm stuck without my metal or payment for such. Assuming at this point this will be a years long attempt to get value out of the legal settlement of the bankruptcy proceedings. Don't trust this company, look elsewhere in the business for timely payouts.
Good Luck Contacting
Similar to other reviews I've seen, I've been working with Monument Metals for years and have always been happy with my deliveries.
All of that's changed whether due to volatility or they just didn't want to buy until a crash. For over a week, I have been emailing, calling, and leaving messages through their website trying to sell back some silver to buy gold - no answer or response. I tried to be loyal to them, but I should have gone somewhere else. I've given back 6 figures in profits because they wouldn't respond.
Respectful and Honest; couldn't be better.
FIRST time dealing with Monument Metals. LONG time stacker & numismatic guy here. These folks treated me with kindness and respect throughout the entire process. Prices were competitive and fair throughout..... buying AND selling.
I recommend them highly.
Thanks, Monument Metals..... good show!

3 1/2 weeks to receive order ,roll of supposed Bu Eagles,5 out of 20 were tarnished and spotted. Will not purchase from them again!
Great customer service.
Monument Metals has been my go-to source for bullion for about two years. They seem to reliably have the lowest premiums and a broad selection.
Recently I wanted to change my eCheck payment source and the COO helped me!
Multiple purchases in the last two years
I have purchased none times from Monument metals in the last 24 months and the product arrived i reasonable time and in excellent condition. When I have contacted the company the customer service has been excellent and the prices are very competitive.
I would agree with most the otherâŠ
I would agree with most the other negative reviews regarding their shipping and verification process. It leaves lots to be desired. Quick to take the money VIA E check but then sits in their verification que for a week, even after they have verified it sits waiting for shipping.
These clowns must be from the Biden DEI era.
These clowns must be from the Biden DEI era. Yes, I have bought coins from them before and like other reviews the shipping was SLOW. But I placed an order this week and found out how really bad they SUCK. I learned they are a few penny's CHEAPER then other bullion dealers it's NOT worth the savings. I placed an order and e-check used one of my accounts I used for personal use. As an older man I don't carry my phone with me or look at my e-mails regularly. The next day I see a 32.00 dollar NSF charge on my checkbook. Received an e-mail from monument. NO phone call. I had the same problem with Bullion Exchange. They were Very professional, and we resolved the issue quickly. NO NSF charge. I called Monument and the customer service; I explained the situation and was told the order was going to be processed. Everything was O.K. Then the next day another 32.00 NSF charge. The next day another e-mail saying they tried to put it through again. Now after 2 attempts anyone with any sense would figure out maybe somethings wrong and make a phone call. But NO. I guess MR. Lee doesn't know how to use a phone. He tried to put through again. Finally, I called customer service, and the discussion did not end well. The lady really got offended when I told her about how Bullion Exchange handled the issue. I deleted my account and cancelled the order after sending an e-mail to monument . You would think Someone would have called to see if they could make it right, But NO. I'll NEVER use them again I'll pay more for Professional service.
Theyâre very aggressive with theirâŠ
Theyâre very aggressive with their condition of Coins. I have received culls that were supposed to be VG+, when a silver dollars had a hole in the top where someone put it on a chain that is not a very good or better Coin. Their prices are a little better than everyone else but the fact that they over grade their Coins thatâs where theyâre making their money. Let @max or Provident Coins fill your order. Youâll pay a couple pennies more but youâll get what you ordered. The last crappy order I got was about three weeks ago.
