Bolt Scraper is the best host it yourself Google Maps Scraper I have found, hands down. The improvements made in the last few weeks have been a game changer for me.
I get FAR more results than the other scrapers I have tried - and I have tried quite a few. The developers have been helpful and taken on suggestions, and it now even has Telegram integration so I get a message when the scrape has completed, along with my results sent to me!
The speed of the new version is phenomenal. I'm doing massive scrapes and what used to take a week it can now do in a day. I'm talking MASSIVE scrapes - up to 250 results a minute - 200 or so results per search. I do 2000-3000 search terms per scrape, results between 50000 and 100000 and Bolt Scraper does it without breaking a sweat, with very little CPU usage and 500MB or less of RAM.
I looked into Apify and other services and I would have paid MANY thousands of dollars for what has cost me a tiny fraction of that, using my own computer to do the work.
No having to set up complicated software, run Docker and Linux, just Chrome and this Extension.
I can run it in the background and still use my computer - it uses very little resources.
I have now scraped nearly a million results and have had zero problems with Google blocking, CAPTCHAS or anything at all. It's like it's completely invisible to Google!
With the new Telegram Integration, I'm in the process of using Bolt Scraper with n8n for automated Google Maps scrapes to get my automations the data for my automated marketing efforts.
If you want to be in control of your scrapes, are happy to use a bit of your own CPU time and internet connection to save a lot of money over using a scraping service - this is the best tool I have found.
I saw the 1 star review - I don't get it. Completely the opposite to my experience. I wonder if it's a bot trying to tank a competitors' product?
