They take over £500 off you just for finding an instructor. They say its in case you miss a lesson so it will cover your instructor but the truth is he/she wont see a penny of it, its commission.

Helped me with my test

This company were very easy to deal with from the start. We were struggling to find an instructor in our locality and Book Instructor found us one immediately and provided options of a test date. Their communication is very good and swift responses to queries or need for help.

The original instructor I booked with cancelled on me last minute- in the end was very happy she did as I got an amazing driving instructor Alaa Katbeh. Would recommend him to anyone (new drivers or people needing refresher lessons like myself)

I have recently booked 10 hours intensive course and test with book instructor due to the long current UK wait times for a driving test and although I have a lot of driving experience I wanted to make sure I am 100% test ready. I am awaiting to be allocated an instructor which can take up to 2 weeks but this process definitely takes all of the hard work away sifting through different instructors and company's. I have a test booked and there system searches every 15 mins for a cancellation which I'm hoping will bring my test forward a lot sooner. The app is really easy to use and if you have any queries you are able to email them directly. Olivia has been super helpful and reasurring responding to my query very quickly and efficiently. So far, so good :)

I was confused where to start from. A quick google search got me this website that further refined my search to my instructor Ali Iqbal. Ali is very calm and a very good instructor that refine your class to your needs. I had a very calm and good experience with him and i thank him so much for the lessons and successfully passing my test on first attempt. Thank you Ali, you are the best.

I strongly advise people to avoid using Book Instructor.

I paid £628.10 for what was advertised as a fast-track driving test service, which included a theory test, two practical test dates, and additional fees for “quick test booking, cancellation checking, instructor allocation, administration, performance coaching and VAT.” Despite booking this in December, I was later told the earliest test they could get me was April — which completely defeats the point of paying for a fast pass. I ended up having to search and find an earlier test date myself.

On top of that, I then paid over £1,800 directly to the instructor I was assigned. There was no block booking discount, which is standard with most instructors. Instead, I was only offered a slightly reduced rate for 10 extra hours — but only if it was arranged privately and not through Book Instructor, which raised red flags for me.

Now, just two weeks before my driving test, my instructor has informed me he is not available on the test date, leaving me without a car and effectively back at square one. Book Instructor have offered no meaningful support or solution to fix this situation.

I paid a premium for a service that was supposed to make the process quicker and smoother. Instead, I’ve experienced delays, poor coordination, unexpected costs, and last-minute disruption at the most critical point.

In my experience, this service did not deliver what was promised, and the overall handling of bookings, instructor arrangements, and customer support has been extremely disappointing. I am now considering seeking legal advice to understand my options.

If you are thinking of using a fast-track driving service, I would strongly recommend doing very thorough research first.

After I passed my theory test I emailed about setting up the driving test and I spoke to Sarah, she was great and replied the same day. gave me great information about the driving test booking.

I had 8 hours with Kristian Stork LDC tuition in Hull and passed first time.Great guy, made it relaxing, enjoyable and funny along the way. Excellent instructor who makes the hard things look easy. 8 hours with one of the nicest guys you'll meet , gave me a memorie of a lifetime.

I had such a great instructor in Swansea. Wayne made me feel very calm inspite of the challenging hills which is something I wasn’t used to. The booking process was also really easy and good communication along the way. Well worth booking a few more hours than you think you’re not familiar with local roads or a different car.
