Fast, easy and efficient. You get a confirmation email immediately, with an option to cancel right up until the day before you arrive with a full refund.

Beware of the Pricing of BookStayGo

I was redirected to BookStayGo when trying to book accommodation at Blue Lagoon Hotel in East London. The website displayed the name of the hotel, then it redirects you. The site showed a discount, making the booking seem like a much cheaper option. I even showed my cousin the bargain and total amount as I was booking.

However, I was shocked to discover that the amount I was charged was approximately 3 times the rate that I saw when I booked.

I cancelled my booking as soon as I saw the amount debited.

Bookstaygo then told me that charges were added when I was checking out. How can you book for R1900 and end up being charged R4200 because of charges. Their booking confirmation does not even reflect an amount charged to show that this is a strategy. They sponsor their website which has the hotel name so that they appear first when you search.

Be careful if a website redirects you especially to Bookstaygo. Make sure you book on the official website.

This has been a frustrating and disappointing experience. I was crushed by the experience and feel scammed.
