I can’t say enough praise to Jacob and the team.

We were given great options and advice for our mortgage. As first-time buyers, we were supported throughout the whole process. Jacob was excellent, I always felt we were carefully listened to and offered help where needed.

I would highly recommend him and the team to anyone looking for a mortgage advisor.

Great experience with Boon Brokers, especially with Jacob who was absolutely brilliant throughout our mortgage process. We had a particularly complicated situation involving multiple properties, leasehold/freehold issues, lender requirements, solicitor panel problems and a fairly stressful purchase timeline, and he stayed calm, proactive and communicative throughout the whole thing.

What really stood out was how hard he worked behind the scenes to keep everything moving. At several points it felt like the deal could have stalled, but Jacob kept pushing it forward.

He was also very patient with questions and never made us feel rushed or like we were being a nuisance, even when things became quite technical. Having someone knowledgeable who could translate complicated mortgage and lender jargon into something understandable made a huge difference.

Genuinely felt like he cared about getting the right outcome for us rather than just processing another application. Would highly recommend Jacob to anyone, especially if you have anything outside a straightforward mortgage case.

My partner and I worked with Jay Blackaby. We started the process hoping to move at the beginning of 2025. After working quickly with Jay to get an estimate for a mortgage amount and discussing different rates we agreed to postpone to a later date when we could get a larger mortgage.
When we came back to Jay in early 2026, we picked up exactly where we left off. We continued on with immense speed and got straight to it. Every call I had with Jay was polite, informational and supportive. He was great help in emails, on the phone and whenever we needed him. Very prompt to reply and get things done which is such a big thing when working towards a mortgage.
