I truly only have great things to share about the Boundless experience. I first came across the program when I was on the search for world schooling opportunities - that was years ago when they first started and now we have already experienced four different cohorts. We started off with a summer cohort in Portugal, followed by Greece, Indonesia and most recently Spain. As a school psychologist, I know too well that the traditional schools do not provide our children with the experiences that parents hope for. Boundless helped to bridge that gap and gifted our three children the highest form of real life experiences outside of their comfort zones which is proven time and again to be the key to future success and happiness. Boundless also gifted us parents with the highest form of self-care, being a built in like-minded community. I truly am so grateful for all the families that I have connected with and for the once in a lifetime experiences that we reminisce on often.

We absolutely loved out Boundless Experience in Montenegro! The location is absolutely stunning, the school as beautiful and the teachers were excellent. Our daughter made best friends and learned a lot in the 3 months. We really enjoyed all the field trips and community activities. The co-working space was great and the other families were lovely to connect with. What a gift this opportunity is to give to our kids and ourselves as parents. We can't wait for out next cohort!

The Boundless Staff was incredible, the Boundless Community was life-changing, and life in Estepona was truly magical. Just what our family needed to restore our faith in humanity and begin again.

We had a truly special 3 month Boundless cohort in Sintra, Portugal in September. We were new to Boundless Life and our experience exceeded our expectations. The community and school teams in Sintra worked well together to support the group in forming meaningful community. The education team were wonderful. Our kids skipped happily into school and were excited by their learning. We were inspired and touched by the whole experience and have booked another 3 cohorts since!

Our time in the Sintra Portugal cohort was transformative for us and our 5yo son. We enjoyed every minute from the amazing school and teachers to the beautiful surroundings. We liked seeing our son grow exponentially over just 3 months in his academics, social skills, and curiosity. Something that lacked from all of his US schools. The families were amazing and the community that boundless has set up made the experience very unique. We loved the school and the teachers and alongside the amazing community staff made the cohort unforgettable.

Our family has done 4 cohorts with Boundless. We did Sintra, Bali, Syros, and La Barrah. We are signed up for at least two more. Boundless provides a unique and amazing way to live life. Boundless has been great for our family and has allowed us to work on our startup while seeing more of the work while having quality time with our two youngest kids and meeting amazing families along the way. We are grateful that Boundless provides the services they do and while no company is perfect and the boundless experience isn't for everyone its been magical for our family.

We just finished a Boundless cohort in Sintra for our 4- and 6-year-old, and we absolutely loved the experience. The teachers and the entire Boundless team were phenomenal—thoughtful, engaging, and genuinely invested in the children. We saw so much growth in both of our daughters during our time there, not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well.

One of the most unexpected and meaningful parts of the experience was the community. We made amazing, lifelong friends with the other parents, which added so much richness to our time in Portugal and made the experience feel truly special and supportive.

Being based in Sintra also gave our family the opportunity to explore Portugal together, creating memories we’ll cherish forever. Boundless strikes a beautiful balance between learning, exploration, and community.

I would highly recommend Boundless to any family considering a cohort, and we’re already looking forward to joining another one soon.

We have been traveling full-time for years and have completed five three-month cohorts with Boundless Life, with three more on the calendar. We continue to love the program and the life it's allowed us to have abroad. Our kids have loved their teachers and the school (except Italy, where the ECD kept switching my 5-year-old from class to class, causing her a lot of emotional distress). We've made amazing friends with whom we've traveled from location to location and met up around the globe. The cultural experience of living abroad —meeting locals, learning about local customs through classes and experiences—is unparalleled.

The biggest con to the company itself is that they are constantly raising prices while rarely improving or adding to the experience. The second con is that the education isn't nearly as great as they market it as. It's the only school my kids have had, and they are young, but still behind their peers of the same age. I would expect they would be further ahead in skills like reading and phonics, since class sizes with Boundless are generally small. (They've never had a class larger than 10 kids and always have 2-3 teachers) That is a disappointment, but since our kids are so young, it's not a dealbreaker for us. We've listened to parents with older kids complain about this at every single location.

Overall, we started with Boundless Life in 2023 and, to their credit, the company has grown and changed in many good ways over the years. Our first experience in Portugal wasn't great, but we gave a lot of feedback and watched as they adapted and improved. Every Boundless location is quite different, just as every country and culture we experience is different. Our favorites, in order, are easily: Greece, Uruguay, Montenegro, Portugal, and Italy. (HIGHLY recommend both Uruguay and Montenegro as they exceed expectations in every way, and the staff at those two locations in particular have been our favorite teams!)

Overall, Boundless is great; they just have lots of room for improvement. The community is amazing - lots of like-minded people being brought together to educate their kids abroad. We did two 3-month cohorts, Sintra Fall 2024 and Syros Spring 2025.

In terms of the Boundless staff, it was night and day between the two. We didn't start in Sintra with one Boundless staff member we ended with (apart from the school - but the GM, operations, activities, etc.) so the program itself was disorganized but we still loved the community. The Syros staff was AMAZING. They are so dialed in. Tons of amazing activities were planned.

The school/education piece is also tricky. In Sintra we had small class sizes, so having different learners across age ranges didn't matter so much. In Syros, with bigger class sizes, it was more of a problem. Our kindergartener was in a class with second graders reading Harry Potter, and he didn't read at all yet. We felt the school couldn't adapt to the different levels.

Also the housing - there are so many unfair aspects to who can book outside Boundless, who can't, and the policies are always changing. Plus the overall costs keep going up and up for the entire program.

That all said, we would hands down do Boundless again because we believe it what they are working on, and all start-ups have bumps along the way. The community we built and the friends we made along the way make it worthwhile.

We participated in two different cohorts and while there were certainly pros and cons of the program, overall our family had a great experience with Boundless Life. The built-in community that Boundless provides is unmatched and is truly what sets them apart. The educational environment didn't quite meet our standards, however, and we also felt that the extracurriculars largely separated the adults from the children (not quite something we anticipated). We also found the program to be quite expensive considering how much it would have cost if coordinating your own lodging and coworking space.

Having followed the program since our experience, there seems to have been a significant investment in social media influencers advertising for them now- and Boundless might be falling victim to inaccurately portraying of a utopian society (but this isn't unique to Boundless unfortunately).

Yes Boundless is great and I'd recommend it to anyone who is new to world travel and wants an easy button to have everything planned and organized for them. But otherwise, I think there are still strides to be made to their approach to education, as well as considerations on the long-term impact they're leaving on the communities in which they are now based.

We loved the community that we have formed on every cohort. The school is incredible for the kids. They learn a bunch and seem more confident in themselves every time. Overall, it is the people and the community that you form that makes Boundless an incredible experience.

The greek team was amazing but we did not like the overall global strategy team. The idea is wonderful and the community is great but the princing on the housing was rediculous and the strategy not fair at all. They told us we could not book separately because those spaces were taken for the first bookers and then people that booked after us could do it. For the price we paid all the booking service and re arrival experience was far from ideal.

My family and I joined the Boundless Life Sintra cohort a couple of years ago, and it was truly one of the most magical experiences we’ve ever had. The town itself feels straight out of a storybook, and Boundless did an incredible job curating activities for both the adults and the kids. Our children loved the school and the friends they made.

After traveling solo for so long, having a built-in community was a gift. We instantly connected with other families, shared adventures, and felt supported in a way that made the whole experience richer and more meaningful.

Boundless Life exceeded our expectations, and we still talk about our time in Sintra with so much gratitude. Highly recommend to any family considering the program!

Ofcourse traveling and relocating come with challenges depending on how used to you are to travel often.

Our summer 2025 cohort in Sintra was nothing short of magical. Our kids loved every minute of the cohort, the teachers were amazing, the location was beautiful, and we adventured to various parts of the region on our visit. Every family was so welcoming and we enjoyed the community.

Boundless Life was fantastic, it was our first time participating, the experience exceeded all of our expectations. The cohort was incredibly welcoming, and our children absolutely loved it. They enjoyed a wide range of activities, and we were truly impressed by the teachers, our entire month there passed far too quickly, and we would have gladly extended our stay.

The program encourages continuous learning, connection, and personal growth within a supportive community. I would highly recommend it to any family seeking new educational opportunities while traveling safely and without the stress of planning every detail - Boundless Life handles all of that seamlessly. The entire staff was consistently kind, attentive, and helpful throughout the experience. Super thankful and happy we we're a part of this.

Boundless Life was an incredible experience for our entire family. It gave us a soft, supportive place to land before fully settling abroad, and helped ease so many of the stresses that come with an international move. Our son thrived, we felt welcomed and connected, and the transition felt so much smoother because of this community. We’re truly grateful for the experience and highly recommend it to any family.

Our family of 4 loved our time in Tuscany during the month of August. We made friends and learned so much.
