Happy customer :)

I’ve just done my first order with Box Divvy. I am pretty fussy with veggies and fruit, and I know what is fresh and what isn’t, as I grew up in the country.

With my order, about 90% was fresh. Especially the spinach leaves — they were excellent! Zucchini was great. Capsicums were so juicy. On the other hand, the oranges and cucumbers were just okay. I guess cucumbers aren’t in season. So I cannot expect too much.

When it comes to pricing, I’ve found it’s much cheaper than the local supermarkets. And the stock selection is amazing. I can get some special jams, condiments, artisan bread, etc. I’m very impressed.

I’ll stay with Box Divvy for a while, I think — and the lady who runs the hub is really kind. 😊 so overall I’m very happy. So I’m giving 5 stars.

In Australia, the peak natural growing season for cucumbers is during the warmer months from November to March. Your Hubster will let you and your other Hub members know which produce is great right now as well as what's good value.
We're certain you'll enjoy the community your Hub members have created: sharing recipes and storage tips, etc...

Sounds good... but need more info

Sounds good, but don't like having to give credit card details before having any contact with my Hubster. Would like more info before committing i.e. need more explanation on "splits" (referred to in the T & Cs). I need full and clear explanations before committing.

Hi Karen! Thanks for the feedback. We've mainly been operating by word-of-mouth until recently when we launched our website redesign. But understanding your concerns is great because it will help us address these as we continually refine our message: Supporting local farmers while providing fresh, healthy food at great prices to Australian families! Our FAQ also gives a bit more info into "What is a Split?"
An example of a Split, "Let's share a box of apples", you can see the total number required to get 'over the line' for the whole membership in the Hub to purchase. The threshold is 12 apples for the whole Hub so not that many.

I’m hoping for more reviews on legitimacy of service before releasing my credit card details!

Not sure if it is real. Need to register credit card on first contact. No idea who what why. So feels strange. Please have ability to make contact with hub before joining. I’m spoiled maybe that I have several options locally. Would like to reach out to members before joining!

When you're comfortable, find a Hub and join it and the Hubster will give you a call to answer any questions.
Your point about entering card details is understandable and we'll work with our IT team to review the sign-up process. Having said that: you can feel absolutely safe in the knowledge that card details are not stored in our database and are held securely by a government-approved payment provider (Eway).
