We live in a Victorian house and over two separate orders we replaced all the sash windows and then the entrance door in its entirety. All the work was specified to match existing detailing where possible. The work was surveyed and measured very precisely and the installation was carried out effortlessly over two days with minimal disruption. The operatives were very courteous and diligent. The product is of excellent quality and its thermal and acoustic properties are of great benefit. The glass (laminated) gives an added level of security to the house. We tendered the work to three companies and they were a comparable price. OBSWC pre-finish their product and there is very little making good, and as we allowed them to select their preferred installation date we obtained discount. Our house is now complete, but if we were to buy another one we would definitely use Original Box Sash Window company.

I have employed Original Box Sash Window Company 3 times over the last 15 years. The quality of their work is outstanding from start to finish. The windows make an enormous differences in terms of temperature control, noise abatement as well as security. The fit and finish is excellent and the installation process has been highly professional every time. The installers have been very thorough, efficient and very high quality work. I recommend the Company and their product without hesitation.

These windows look like our original windows only better. They fit well and should provide lasting good looks as well as keeping us warmer. The fitting was quick and efficient and the detail finish really good. Expensive but I think worth it.

After much research on window companies I chose the OBSW Co to replace 8 large windows and 2 attic windows on the front of my house.
From the initial phone call to the completion of the job everything went smoothly, on time and with the minimum fuss. I was impressed by the manager of the factory in Wales with his attention to detail and advice on paint colours, and particularly impressed with the two fitters who were on site for 3 days. They did a fantastic job and at the end of every day left the site immaculate. The windows are high quality and elegant and I am extremely pleased with them. Only another 12+ windows to go ! which I hope to do next year and will be using the OBSW co.again.

The staff measured our windows with precision, so that the installer was able to fit them in with no problem. Everyone was pleasant and efficient. The windows themselves are wonderful -- they glide up and down, just like they should! The double-glazing really cuts down on noise from outside.
The nicest thing we could have done for our 130-year-old house.

This was the third order we had placed with the Original Box Sash Windows Company, as we think they are the best! The staff are highly competent and friendly, the products second to none as regards quality and workmanship. We now have a secure front door that looks beautiful. Exactly what we wanted, down to the last detail. Top class!

Original Box Sash continues to provide good products professionally and efficiently installed. It is not the company for cheap double glazing but who wants cheap glazing?

From start to finish the service was excellent. We are delighted with our windows. High quality product, not cheap but you pay for what you get. The fitter was punctual , skilled, polite, extremely neat and tidy, would have no hesitation in recommending this company,

You get what you pay for and the Original Box Sash Windows Company provide quality and professionalism that is well worth the price. This is the second time we have had windows installed by this company and the result is beautiful. Would not hesitate to recommend.

After having the downstairs windows double glazed by Box Sash a year or so ago, we wished we'd had the upstairs done as well. So this year we had them done. They look fantastic and no longer have to be stuffed with pegs to stop them rattling! We knew we wanted wood sash double glazing because it suits the house and were worried about what it would cost, but its not as pricey as we'd feared. Box Sash are a very good company, our experience of them has been entirely positive. There's no hard sell and they are very clear about costs. Their fitters are fast and very efficient and the end product is well worth what we paid, especially in comparison to plastic double glazing.

We obtained three quotes for the upgrade of all of the windows in our Victorian and decided to go with Boxsash. The decision was made on quality and reputation more than cost. We don't regret the decision and are extremely pleased with our new windows. The house was instantly transformed and is quieter and warmer. Our only regret is that Boxsash don't offer a painting service with the installation for the frames while the windows are out... we have yet to tend to that and it would have been wonderful to have it all done at once. However they did accommodate us as much as they could in working around the installers and tidying up the frames.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED with no reservations. A good, honest firm to deal with.

The process of the paperwork and ordering seemed the most time consuming part. The work itself was a dream. The person who checked the measurements came early so as not to be late and was done and dusted in the shortest time. The wonderful Mark who did the fitting did all 4 windows in one day and was utterly unobtrusive, respectful and left the place spotless. I could not believe it. I cannot wait for the weather to be cold so I can feel the benefit; but the smooth operating of the windows is already a great bonus. Could not recommend more highly.

I would highly recommend this company. The service from initial quote to installation was smooth and efficient. I was particularly impressed with the fitters who were quick, clean and polite. The whole job took much less time than i had expected: worth every penny! The after sales service has been very good too.

I'm very much looking forward to the installation of my box sash windows, hoping - of course - that they will live up to my expectations. I'll post my final comments then.
However in terms of the service received to date, I feel very positive. The information provided by the local estimator at the initial visit was comprehensive and my questions fully addressed. The surveyor who came subsequently was clear about how long it would take to complete the detailed measurements and left everything clean and tidy. My queries about the installation and payment processes have been promptly dealt with.

I have had a lot of new windows fitted. Simon has been in charge each time and has done a wonderful job. He and his team have been so thoughtful working around me and my work. This was after terrific service from the original representative and then Tania in the office. Everyone has been helpful, straightforward. The quality of the windows is excellent. I was recommended the company by a friend and have just recommended it to another friend. I hope they will be as happy with the increase in air tightness of the windows and the excellent quality as I am. Thank you.

I was delighted with the service I received from start to finish. Whilst the cost of having windows that look the same as the oringal may seem rather costly at first versus UPVC, I'm so glad I made the investment. The windows are very well made; they look great & my sitting room is now so much warmer and quieter - money very well spent. The salesman & fitter were very friendly and offered great advice too. If I ever need windows again, I will know where to go!

We have worked with this company for many years. The products and customer service have been faultless. Sash windows are tricky to build and manage, and there's no substitute for expert help.

Our windows and doors were of the highest quality. We are really pleased with the result. Friends and neighbours have all commented on how impressed they are with the result. A couple of the neighbours have intimated that they will look into having windows installed by yourselves. Andy our main fitter was exceptional. Always turning up on time, hard working and incredibly tidy, you just wouldn't know he had been there. He was also a really nice guy. He had help with the doors from Thomas, who was equally as professional and nice guy. I wouldn't hesitate recommending your company to anyone. One slight criticism is the uncertainty on the length of time to wait for the products to be made and installed. I sort of understand the reason but if there is a set time scale or an early indication of when they are ready it would help in planning. As it was, the wait wasn't too long, and the wait was certainly worth it. Mike King
